It's a shame we can't give zero or 0.5 stars. This has to be the worst pharmacy in the area! Rude, lazy, zero compassion, they'll ignore the drive thru I have watched from inside. I have never seen pharmacy staff care less about customers. When dealing with people who need meds, sometimes life sustaining meds they should probably not be awful people! There are a couple of nice cashiers but the techs and pharmacist are downright abusive. read more

I cannot stress how poorly run this pharmacy is. I am not a guy that likes to focus on the negative but the absolute disaster that you get dealing with this particular Walgreens. Never mind the fact that it's a crapshoot from month to month what you're going to charged for your meds but the inefficiency that they handle customers, along with the ridiculousness of their poor communication skills it is shocking to me that CVS or whatever mom and pop shop doesn't open a pharmacy in the same parking lot. The bar is so low and it's disgusting. I cannot believe this is an operation that exists in northern New Jersey because they act like they're from some backwoods place in Alabama. I just spent 25 minutes waiting in back of one car at this location's drive-in, and when I finally pulled up (with six cars behind me), they had put up a "drive-in closed" sign without so much as an apology to me and the line of cars waiting. They refused to answer when I rang the service bell. This Walgreen's location is consistently horrendous. They treat customers like they are doing them a favor. I stopped going to this pharmacy about two years ago. For starters, no one, not even the sarcastic, down-talking pharmacist, will ever speak to me like I'm some little child. Secondly, just because I don't accept or tolerate your rudeness, doesn't mean the pharmacist can purposely create barriers to filling my medication. Specifically, for you to call my doctor to verify a medication that my insurance covers, especially when it was sent electronically by my doctor (numerous times before mind you), is clearly a purposely intended tactic used to make me wait. Not only is this immature of someone who is supposed to be "professional", it's illegal. There are many more reasons I could add as to why I refuse to use this pharmacy (most being because of the rude and unprofessional female pharmacist). Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Agree with all the comments about the wait time at the pharmacy. I wish I'd read them before I filled out the paperwork to get my flu shot here. Normally this process takes about 10-15 mins at other pharmacies. Been here 25 mins and still waiting for my shot. Too few pharmacists. Too many people. I really hate coming here, and yet I still do because it's so close to my house. It used to be within walking distance, but has recently moved down the street to a much worse location. Despite a new building, the store still lacks the ability to earn even two stars in my book. It's impossible to be in and out of here quickly due to the lack of personnel inside. I don't think I've ever seen more than one register open at a time. Add in customers arguing over prices or asking help finding an item, and you're bound to be waiting on line for awhile. The pharmacy here is one of the worst. Very understaffed and slow. Think you'll be saving time using the drive-thru? Think again. I've waited on line in the drive-thru for more than twenty minutes at times. Once you finally make it to the window, it's a miracle if the associate working the window is still there, or if they turned around to help someone at the counter. Looking to call to see if your prescription is ready? It's a miracle if they pick up the phone. To top it all off, leaving the parking lot is an accident waiting to happen. With cars exiting the highway and coming from the neighboring bank and Shoprite, it's very hard to make a left out of the lot. read more

Useless and lazy employees. Had the worst customer service when looking for a regular strength hydrocortisone. One worker went to ask another worker and they both didn't know if the store carried it and advised to check the app to see if this store or other ones carried it. Well geez, I'm here now and you can't do your job and check on your computer? When asked, the one worker that was pregnant stated that if it's not on the shelves, they don't have it and she already checked in the back. I have been on the phone with the pharmacy at Walgreens since 8:05 AM. It is now 8:59 AM and I am still trying to explain to the staff at Walgreens that they are using the wrong number on my prescription. Yesterday they asked if I could call the drug company and get them the correct number since they were so busy it would take them several days before they could make the call. I did so and provided them the number this morning when they answered the phone the first time. Moments ago they told me they were still working on it that the payment was still coming up at $50 and I said please read me the number you are using. They read me the incorrect number which I explained to them the last two digits were wrong, I gave them the correct digits one hour ago. They said "one moment" (it's been one moment for the last hour). Today, 12/31, the price they are giving me without the drug company copay is $50 because I have met my deductible. Tomorrow the price on 1/1/22 will be $563.99 because the deductible will start over. So it is critical that they process this correctly not just for today but for my future refills. The difference today between $5 and $50 is not good. As of tomorrow the difference will be between $5 and $563.99!!!!!!!! It's 9:11 AM they just told me it went through $5. But I would still give them less than one star if that was possible. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy on Browertown Road since it's the closest to where I live and they take my insurance plan. I don't expect anything great, since it's a corporate pharmacy and they care more about profits than anything, but my experience has been even less than my low expectations! I have medication that, if I miss a dose or take a dose late, it doesn't work well for me. I received a message via text yesterday - Thanksgiving - telling me that they couldn't fill the prescriptions that my doctor called in on TUESDAY night. In fact, they said there was no record. Well, I called my doctor today and the immediately got in touch with Walgreens. Their excuse for not filling my script? They don't have my insurance, yes, my INSURANCE information - which they've had for over 10 years with no changes - on file. Last straw. I've had medications delayed, denied, and screwed up because some idiot punched in an incorrect birthdate. I had to show ID for that to be cleaned up and I am still not sure it ever was ... they have lots of people running around behind the counter doing who knows what (certainly not assisting anyone) and yet lines go from the back to the front of the store. Don't even get me STARTED on Drive-Thru!!! That only took 30 minutes ... Oh, and when they text you to tell you your meds are ready - give it at least 3-4 hours after you receive the text, or call to confirm. You might get there to pick it up and they'll tell you they don't have it. So, if you're okay with lousy service and don't need blood pressure meds, this is a terrific place. I stopped here on Christmas Day to buy milk since all the grocery stores were closed. So my options were sparse, a drug store or a gas station. I decided that this was the lesser of two evils. I went to the refrigerated case and easily found the milk. (A gallon of milk is $3.29, not too bad.) They had two left in my preferred variety. Perfect. I took a quick walk through the store since it was my first visit to this new location. The store as a whole looked nice and clean and bright. Then I went to the front to check out. I handed the clerk (Romeo) my Balance Rewards card which he scanned. He rang up my milk. I inserted my credit card. My receipt printed as did a coupon in the Catalina machine. Romeo handed me my receipt and put my Catalina coupon on the counter next to the register. He had a pile of them sitting there. I asked him what printed from the Catalina machine. He looked flustered. He was like, "Oh a coupon for points" and then handed me my coupon. The coupon was a welcome back coupon since I haven't shopped in a while for 5000 points on a purchase of $20 or more. If they are really trying to get my business back then they should tell cashiers to give customers the coupons that they earned. I kind of wonder what he intended on doing with the stash of coupons that he accumulated there. Perhaps use them himself? Otherwise why save them and not put them in the garbage? The clerk really should be retrained. I think I'll stick to my regular Walgreens location where they actually care about their customers and give them their coupons. read more

I work for this store 6 yrs now. seen some pretty mean customers and some great customers. here are few tips for those who shop here 1) merchandise we don't carry u won't find for sure don't compare to old location which was twice as big. 2) we can't split ourselves in 2 so have some patience and we will help u to the best we can 3) pharmacy is all about accuracy rules and regulations don't expect meds pronto don't have us call ur doctor when u run out of refills or wait for last minute that takes time away from helping u. this is not fast-food that u order no 6 and expect it done in 15 minutes I never had problems with any pharmacy because I m proactive with my health. learn to work with the system and not against it.. read more

I bought a watch battery from this location. When I got it home it didnt work, I returned it the next day and showed the Hindu Manager the expiration date on package. I had the receipt but lost battery, cause when I popped it out of the watch it fell between sofa cushions and slipped down inside the sofa panel and could not be retrieved, instead of making good for his company he was rude and tried to take me for a fool and said the date on package was not an expiration date. I'm a red blooded AMERICAN I am not a fool he continued to tell me to go home and take my sofa apart if I wanted a refund. Let me tell you there are plenty of pharmacies in my neighborhood. As a new store, overall it's organized and clean. Never problems shopping there. However, the pharmacy is a disaster and I have been going there for years, both on Main St. and Browertown. Today was the final straw of frustration. I'm definitely not the type to get too excited over nonsense, but I had called my doctor to refill prescriptions whenever they are due (a normal occurrence) and as I left work I was surprised to see all were "Ready for Pickup" in the app. One was four days early, but I've done this regularly at this location 2, 3, and maybe 4 days the max out of convenience to get all of my medications at once without numerous trips. It was rush hour and not my favorite place to go on the highway. Anyhow, If it's "not ready or under review" on the app - I don't waste my time or gas to go that day. Anyway, I got to the pharmacy, assuming all were ready and was told I had to wait till Friday, a day I'd be completely out of my medications. I was near tears after a rough day and I just wanted to pick up my medication and go home. Instead, I was told it wasn't "WALGREENS" policy, but the "discretion" of the pharmacist. I'm sorry, but if you put on the app it is ready at the location, my insurance approves, and my doctor approved, why am I there wasting my time after work, when (just like everyone else) I had so many things to do at home? I asked to speak to the pharmacist, as this has never happened in the near 10 years I've been going. The pharmacist barely glanced my way, the tech spoke with her instead of letting myself inquire (I'm a health professional as well and bedside manner is essential to patients), and still said no. I even lowered my voice in order to explain my concerns and let them know I had a bad day and it would be difficult to make multiple trips. It didn't matter to them. Unfortunately, the personalities working behind the pharmacy must not be as compassionate as I thought. I felt stigmatized and looked down upon, so what did I do? Asked them to please transfer all of my scripts to the Walgreens elsewhere and guess what? No issues! And extremely helpful! I even had to call back Little Falls, to make sure they cancelled one of the scripts (as they should have while I was there, not my job) and I only knew that why? Because of the new location. The Little Falls Walgreens pharmacy needs some retraining on compassion and if you are on any medications for your mental health (or who knows what else) they will look at you as beneath them, even if you are a young female crying after a bad day. Definitely not a "stigma-free" zone. I left with nothing. I've studied pharmacology, I'm aware of the scheduling of drugs, and classifications...but this was uncalled for. Sorry for the rant, but honestly I've never felt so insulted at a pharmacy before. I was wearing my scrubs from working all day and I'm not a "suspicious character", so please get your act together. Luckily, this other location made sure to let me know they all were ready, I don't have to make multiple trips, and I was not judged. Oh and the pharmacist spoke to me directly! They make you call your own insurance company when they are supposed to call them for you and help you through a problem rather than just telling you to figure it out. Stay far away from this pharmacy. They make mistakes constantly and the pharmacist named Lori is the most unprofessional and rude person to which I have ever spoken. She actually referred to me as "Honey" and "Love" in a condescending manner after I asked her not to. I was left without my medication and she hung up on me. When I called back again, she refused my call and purposely put me on hold and transferred me to the general store. I am now in the process of contacting corporate headquarters and the store manager. The fact that a pharmacist has no control or social etiquette....not the type of person who should be filling pills. I guess this is why they once delivered someone else's chemotherapy prescription to my house instead of an antibiotic. This place is just horrible. The only good thing is it is convenient to get to. If 7-11 had the same items and a pharmacy that would be my choice. Parking is ok but the enter and exit is an accident waiting to happen. The biggest issue with this place is they are very understaffed. Looking at the reviews, it's something mentioned over and over. If the manager or corporate reviews the yelp they would make a change, one would hope. They keep limited stock and very often out of stock a day after their sales begin. One employee posted a yelp or google review basically telling all negative reviews to go to hell in short. Claims it's not fast food, yada yada yada. I hope he is not the poster child for this location. The pharmacy is horrible however there is one red headed young lady who is very friendly, smiles and treats you well but even her hands are tied at times. They are very slow and after careful evaluation I believe the employees are annoyed and aggravated due to poor scheduling of employees. Inside is very bright and very clean, that's a plus. Compared to other Walgreens locations from many different states, this place is the worst. Simple fix, schedule more people, order more stock, retrain on customer service and don't make your own pharmacy policies outside of the approved insurance and state regulations. If the state and insurance accept, so should they. Thanks for keeping an eye out for us regarding medications however we have enough rules and regulations in place with big brother watching. If CVS or Rite-Aid open within a mile or so, this place is toast. As for the Walgreens employee god who feels like putting everybody in their place well there is a word for that, ARROGANCE. The customer pays your salary and as long as you are not being verbally abused or take it. If that's too difficult then you may want to apply for a job at DMV since that's your mentality and as an employee you now speak for that horrible store.
