I know they think I'm a drug addict or alcoholic because of the meds I take and that is why they are treating me like a drug seeker. It's not the first time this happened to me at a compounding pharmacy. My prescription price was raised $25 without notice. I was already paying $125 out of pocket. LDN is prescribed for many reasons I'm disabled from medical negligence. My emails have not been answered as to why the price has gone up. Nobody in that pharmacy has been kind.

I walked in and was warmly greeted by Steve, the pharmacist. I was so taken aback I thought he must be talking to someone else but no. The effusive greeting was for me. Nice. My doctor had called in the prescription so it was there and waiting for me. Steve took the time to tell me what it was, how I should take it and mentioned a number of side effects that I could have from the meds. Not unusual for a pharmacy but this guy was just so darn nice in the way he did it! The walls of this small shop are full of items to purchase from therapeutic stockings, to bandages, to cold meds and other drug store type items. They even have a small cooler stocked with juices and waters which was great as it enabled me to begin taking my prescription immediately. Another plus? There is free valet parking out front so you can jump out of your car and be in and out in a flash (especially helpful when you aren't feeling well) This place probably gets all of its business from the doctors that are in the building that it occupies, as there is no outside signage, and other drug stores may be more convenient. And like other drug stores- they take insurance so this was no more expensive than where I usually get my scripts filled. But for that small town feel of a real pharmacy, without all the big box hype, Elm Plaza Pharmacy with Steve at the helm is a perfect choice.

Good Health only charged me $40! Another amazing feature of this pharmacy is that they can deliver your medications to your door. I wish I had switched pharmacies sooner.

I have eventually moved my insurance to Walgreens and the process is much less stressful, I get my prescriptions and pay my insurance cost without issues.

One time the pharmacy woman made a mistake on my receipt and she apologized like crazy when it really was no big deal at all, and then gave me a coupon for my next Target purchase. Love her! If there's a problem or you have a question on anything, they'll get you the answer, stat! They'll get your doctor on the phone, they'll do anything for you, no matter how small the issue. They'll even recommend cheaper medications and verify them with your doctor if your doc thinks you're a millionaire and writes you an expensive brand name prescription. They're really sweet, hardworking people and I appreciate they're constant effort to better their customer's experience. PS- you can often find coupons for $10 gift cards with any pharmacy purchase in the Sunday Target adds.

Where to start? All of that hype about customer service and longevity. I purchased a $3500 electric…read morewheelchair for my husband. They had to order the one we wanted. That was 2 weeks ago. I picked it up less than 24 hrs of being notified it was there. Unfortunately, my husband's health took a critical turn in the past week and he will likely now be bed bound. I contacted the store and informed them of this unexpected turn. I was aware of athe 25% re-stocking fee and was prepared to bite the bullet. Unfortunately, I was told that the 10 day window started when I paid for it despite that window being eaten up waiting for delivery. So too bad so sad- they have my money and I have a wheelchair that no one will ever use. Bet they are looking forward to their next 150 years of taking care of customers. Just don't have an extenuating circumstance.

They organize my mom's extensive set of medications and make sure there aren't issues and provide monthly packets so we don't have to do the sorting with a jillion pill bottles. They'll call us to remind us about pickups and treat us like old friends when we come into the store. They run a business like those that you see in small towns in old movies. The ones you wish were real. Fantastic people. Worth transferring your business there.
