Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

Now this is for the people that are complaining who don't understand how it is to run a business. For the people complaining to have to pay for something upfront don't understand what it's like to run a business. Many prescriptions to get filled here and made here are very unique to very certain individuals so the time the effort resources that are used and then people don't come up and pick up the prescription. Think about that now, you wasted your money to buy ingredients to have a prescription made, and then no one comes and picks it up so now you're out of your resources of money ingredients ordered, and time to make it and now you have a prescription that's not gonna be picked up because it wasn't paid for which means you're out of your own money and you are out of your own time now you have also a prescription that will not be picked up and that is being wasted. So the people that don't think outside their own box is very unfortunate. I cannot stand reviews where people only think about me me me me me, and they don't think about what product that they are getting from a certain facility. Mark Drugs keep up the good work and three years you have not disappointed for the people that don't understand the business aspect. That's very unfortunate and they need to open up their eyes because if they ran a business, it will probably would not go very far.

One time the pharmacy woman made a mistake on my receipt and she apologized like crazy when it really was no big deal at all, and then gave me a coupon for my next Target purchase. Love her! If there's a problem or you have a question on anything, they'll get you the answer, stat! They'll get your doctor on the phone, they'll do anything for you, no matter how small the issue. They'll even recommend cheaper medications and verify them with your doctor if your doc thinks you're a millionaire and writes you an expensive brand name prescription. They're really sweet, hardworking people and I appreciate they're constant effort to better their customer's experience. PS- you can often find coupons for $10 gift cards with any pharmacy purchase in the Sunday Target adds.

I went online and found The Compounder's website where they offered the product I wanted along with more information on its use. I contacted them via email and not only did they respond very quickly but they provided me with different volume price options (which were excellent because I wanted to buy multiple units). The issue with the product I ordered was that it needed to be refrigerated and since we're in the mid-end of August it definitely needed special overnight shipping. When I called to officially place my order (paid by phone), they quickly recognized me from my emails, pulled up my information, answered my product questions, and had already gotten multiple shipping quote-options for me to choose from. The shipping was expensive, which I had expected, but I ended up going with a quote for $29 next-day delivery. At that time they did tell me that the quoted price might change. When I received the package I was surprised with how well packaged it was; I must admit I was very worried that the shipping process might spoil the product. However, the product was incredibly well packaged with multiple ice packs in a thick foam inner box to conceal from the heat. The shipping ended up being $55 instead of the $29 but they were nice enough not to charge me the price difference this first time. I'm happy with the product and the personal service of The Compounder. I liked the fact that they added multiple sheets of information on the product I purchased along with my order invoice, and a note stating the shipping price difference for future reference. You get that mom/pops community type feel with this place and I for one am a fan for places like this.

You can pick up in Aurora or pay to have your RX delivered to your house via UPS or FedEx. unfortunately, I'm super sensitive to so many different things especially meds I had a reaction to the pure compounded med because I'm used to taking synthetic drugs with fillers.. ;-( finally after a pure clean compounded med & multiple generic manufacturers & horrid reactions the Brand Name drug helps me. If you need a special drug compounded? I would highly recommend The Compounder. Our Chiropractor/Acupuncturist/Nutritionist also uses The Compounder at times as well.

The last Urgent Care I went to was very dismissive, did not attend my needs, concerns, or hear my input. However, DuPage Immediate Care comforted me, tended to my concerns, and went through every area to find the problem. And they found issue and informed me about the course of action. They potentially saved my life, and more notably cared for me as an individual. The area seems a little sketchy, but the care is phenomenal. I highly recommend anybody to come here, regardless of your economic status. DuPage Immediate Care truly does it for the people.
