I was in desperate need of a special medication which was called in by my medical specialist. I called the pharmacy hoping to speed up the process and to possibly arrange pickup of the medication for transport to my treating physician. Gene answered the phone. He was polite and professional. Upon my arrival, Gene greeted me and again displayed friendly and professional manner. The medication was ready and I was quickly on my way to my specialist's office. Harrison's Pharmacy is located in the Dover shopping plaza on Curry Ford Road. If you are unfamiliar with this shopping plaza, it is the shopping plaza where Clemons Produce and the Daybreak Diner are located. Harrison's Pharmacy is next to the Daybreak Diner and a few doors down from Clemons Produce. The staff at Harrison's Pharmacy are friendly and professional. Again, it is good to see an independent Pharmacy surviving in a world that is definitely leaning more towards corporate monoliths. Harrison's Pharmacy is a glimpse into what yesterday was like. When I was a kid growing up in new jersey, we had a place called Phelp's Pharmacy and the owner knew us all and his son worked there. He was definitely a part of our community. I can't get that same vibe from a Walgreens or a CVS. Harrison's Pharmacy is definitely a part of this community. For that alone, they earn five stores. For their great customer service, they should earn more than five stars.

I want to leave a positive review because humans tend to only leave reviews after a negative experience and I don't want some person to be deterred like I may have been. The service I received was amazing and quick compared to the big retail pharmacies I have gone to in the past. Within the same day I was contacted by Lily who got all the information she needed for my insurance, and she was super kind and patient with all of my questions. Secondly, my medication was delivered in three days which is far sooner than I would have expected and I am very pleased with my experience. Moral of the story, please don't let all of the negative reviews deter you from giving this great pharmacy a try because people like myself have nothing but great things to say.
