And hey--I believe them! But here's the plot twist: I don't deal with the pharmacy. I pick up my prescriptions from Walmart, so I happily skip the drama and get to enjoy everything else Walgreens has to offer without the headache. This Walgreens on 535? It's my go-to for all the little things that keep a household running: gift cards, shampoo, toilet paper, and photo prints. Yep, we're still those people who print actual photos, and Walgreens has never let us down in that department. Now, we did go through a weird phase where gift cards would randomly show up as void at the register, which turned into a fun little game of "Will It Scan?" But honestly? That issue seems to have sorted itself out. We've had no problems lately, and I'll chalk it up to a glitchy moment in Walgreens history. Pickup orders are mostly smooth. Sometimes the app will say "delayed" for absolutely no reason (ghosts, probably), but 9 times out of 10 it's ready when we swing by, and the whole process is quick and painless. Do the staff go above and beyond? No. But they also don't get in my way, and I'm not here for small talk. I'm here to grab my stuff, earn my rewards (shoutout to my wife who is basically the Walgreens deal queen), and get out. In a world of chaotic pharmacies, long lines, and mysterious coupon codes that don't work, this Walgreens stands out for being fine. Totally fine. Actually kinda great. I have starteed to use this location as a FedEx pickup location. First of all, it's easy. Second, it's convenient. Third, they will hold my delivery for 5 business days! I figured out last month that this Walgreens was my closest FedEx holding location after a Christmas package required a signature and wasn't left for us while we were on vacation. Rather than drive to the warehouse, FedEx offered to drop it off at the closest location for us, this Walgreens. Fast forward to this past weekend. I was getting another delivery that required a signature. I immediately called Fedex and asked them to send it here for me, knowing that I wasn't going to be home all day long. My package was delivered on Monday, and I finally made it over tonight to pick it up. The staff was very friendly, and when the lady at the photo center had trouble finding it, she quickly asked a supervisor for help. Within 5 minutes I was walking out with my package. I just went to Walgreen's on Conroy Windermere Rd, Windermere, to drop off three boxes with FedEx shipping labels. They accepted 2 of the three boxes and denied one box as it was larger. They were not nice to me either, all three employees. The box sizes were: 27"x26"x16" and weighed 14 pounds. The other two boxes were the same size, 22"x16"x13". One weighed 20 pounds and the other weighed 17 pounds. The two smaller boxes, which they accepted, were larger and heavier together that the one larger box! First of all, I see no sign at Walgreen's that says they only accept this size and not that size. This was a case of 3 unfriendly Walgreen's employees. I'm not happy. read more

As much as I love going into a Walgreens to buy a bunch of unnecessary stuff while picking up my prescription refill, I think I'll have to move my prescriptions over to Publix. read more

I totally understand that it's not the poor person on the phones fault for having to close the pharmacy early, but this is a constant problem at this location. My vaccine (again) needed to be rescheduled because they don't have enough people to work. That's absolutely NOT the fault of the people that did show up, however this closing early happens constantly so I'm taking my business elsewhere. This is the 3rd or 4th time over a period of 3 months this has happened. What's the point of scheduling something when they can't keep the appointment? Now I've wasted more of my time because whoever is in charge of keeping the pharmacy manned, can't do their job. Sad, annoying and will cost them more business. read more

I read some of the reviews. I would have to disagree with most of them. We moved to this side of town and this is our new Walgreens. The pharmacy is speedy, accurate, and even knows us when we pull up. The five stars is really for the pharmacy. We have not had any trouble with the pharmacy in the drive through or on the inside. The reviews here are pretty accurate. I would go here because of its location, but not any more. I dropped off a prescription when I tried calling the next day to check on the status I waited on hold for 45 minutes. I'm not kidding, I watched a whole episode of Gilmore Girls while on hold. At the end the call dropped - I never even spoke to someone. When I made into the store 2 days later, the lady told me they couldn't fill it because it's a compound prescription.....a little call would be nice. The lady in the beauty department is usually rude, especially if you try to use coupons.... It's just not a good Walgreens, there's so many others to go to. read more

I have never encountered more of a disorganized pharmacy ever in my life. This is the first AND last time I will be filling a script here. I see 4 employees. No one in line and it's taken my script a total of 60 minutes to fill. She told me 30 minutes. I over heard her tell someone that came back thru the drive thru they are still working on their script. The pharmacist at this location always gives us generic drugs. What's the difference between generic & authentic you say? Well, Bayer makes aspirin but so does walmart, walgreens, & cvs, etc. Check the ingredients and wait on it...wait on it...Yes, it's not aspirin at all, but a synthetic lab proj. made somewhere in Asia... India or China. Well, think about your favorite food. It might be fries, donuts, or hamburgers. So, instead of going to McDs or Krispy Cream, you go to the freezer section of your local supermarket & buy flash frozen fries made in China or those frozen hamburgers you can microwave...delicious right. But it might not be beef. Ask the Brits about the China meat scandal in 2017...horse, canine, pork burger smorgasbord. Better yet go ahead & buy those wht powdered or cinn. powdered donuts made years in advance & shipped around the nation. Accidentally drop one under your car seat & ck on it in a year & it's still intact...yummy...still not stale or decayed. It will out live you & still be eatable during the next ice age. The service here is incredibly slow and the pharmacy is understaffed. Had to wait for a coupon to be applied to my medication and ended up leaving bc it took so long.... She said it would take 10 minutes. I got a text notification 40 minutes later that the coupon was applied and medicine was ready. Also, when leaving, I wanted to buy a few things at the front check out and after waiting for the four people in front of me to check out, the lady refused to check me out because it was the end of her shift so I was told to check out in the other (already busy) line when it was supposed to be my turn. And I'd now waited twice. Bought nothing and left. Good thing there are better pharmacies close by. read more

As a new resident of Windermere, FL, this Walgreens near Windermere & Isleworth is most convenient for me. The Pharmacy, the store staff have been friendly to me, answered my questions, the store is located closest to where I live now. The only reason why I took away one star is due to the parking situation. Few parking spaces to serve Walgreens, plus Pappa John's Pizza, Subway, a Vet/Pet Clinic, & two other stores. Plus the next door kindergarten - the parents use Walgreen's parking spaces to unload & pick up kids. Its the persons driving their vehicles into the parking lot wanting a space rightaway & not caring how, where they park. People drive their vehicles into the the parking area haphazardly. I have handicapped parking license plate so I can park in handicap space. Must be watchful when parking in that space because people walking out of store, into store, walk right thru the parking space without looking. I must back into the handicapped parking space carefully, not to hit anyone. This allows me more safety when I pull my vehicle out. Because when pulling out of a parking space in that lot, be careful, the next driver of vehicle drives in aggressively as if you are wasting their time. read more

Didn't even want to give them 1 star! Worse pharmacy with the worst pharmacist. They are very incompetent. No clue how he made it through school. Took them almost 2 weeks to find my Doctor's fax authorization and at first they imputed incorrectly and accident my marked "denied." Not the first time I've had trouble with them. Can never get out of there in a timely matter. No clue how this guy keeps his job. I dread every time I have to go in there. I called to check on a prescription and the technician said to me "So glad you called, I actually deleted your doctors voicemail by accident so I'm not able to issue your prescription. I've had about a 30% success rate in getting my prescriptions filled here. The pharmacy is very unorganized, doesn't communicate well, and is very slow. We get inaccurate information from them and filling prescriptions takes multiple trips before I have my medicine in hand. Bottom line: Plan to make multiple trips for your prescription and hope to luck out on one of them. read more

Can I give them half a star or no stars? This poorly designed Walgreens is a disaster to get in and out of on a regular day. I got trapped in their parking lot for 40 minutes because all the suburban moms picking up theirs kids at Sunset elementary school next door double and triple park, blocked me in and others trying to just pick up a prescription. The girl behind the counter told me there was nothing she could do and it happens every day. Apparently this was my fault and I should have known better in her opinion. Well the shelves have what you would expect at a Walgreens. The staff are polite. However they don't appear to be adequately staffed. I went to check out my handful of items, had a question, it's a good one, where's the cashier, where is anyone working here... I almost just stole my stuff, left a note, IOU. But I waited, along with other people to be helped, someone from the back yells, I will get you in the photo department. She checks us out while more people like up there at the front checkout, she starts helping someone on the photo machine, she clearly is supposed to work back there, but didn't have the time to stick, work in the photo area, and be a cashier at the same time. Not the girls fault, it's the managers fault, for poor staffing, but this reflects very poorly on the store, and I'm sure motivates shop lifting. I know I was sure tempted to borrow my stuff, but luckily for them, my conscious is better than that. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. I received 2 unknown pills in my prescription.. a pretty horrific mistake that could have ended poorly if I hadn't noticed. When I brought the pills in, the pharmacist said she'd have the manager call me the next day. He did not. 2 days later, he called. And instead of apologizing for their mistake, he spoke to me as if I were the one who did something wrong. He said I got what I paid for and that they checked the inventory of both kinds of medicine and there were no mistakes. He spoke so rudely and demeaningly that I am calling a supervisor to complain. This is an inexcusable mistake and I can't believe how it was handled. I was berated and belittled and that's NOT the kind of treatment I want from the person handling my medication. Do NOT fill your prescriptions here. You may "get what you paid for" and end up with some other drug. read more

I was told to come back later as I seen other getting there scripts filled quickly. I actually waited while 2 customers after me arrived and there scripts were filled as I waited. This is the worst pharmacy and the "Pharmacy Manager" is rude and not helpful in any way. Every time I go to get a prescriptions filled they never have it ready or have some reason why they can fill it. I've even gone to the extent of calling ahead to be sure my prescription was filled. The pharmacy manager said it would be ready in 30 minutes so I arrived one hour later to find it STILL not filled. He blamed it on my doctor, which is a lie because when I talked to him he told me he had the prescription. He'd rather argue than just do his job the right way the first time! I'm appalled at these reviews- I've used this Walgreens ever since it opened and have always had a positive experience. During a 4 year period when my husband was chronically ill, I was there more than once a week, and when he was placed in hospice care, the pharmacist was compassionate enough to let me melt down and give me support. They've worked with me on insurance issues, have helped me find household items, remind me of sale items and are always friendly. read more

I usually never write bad reviews, but I just could not believe the level of unprofessional service at this Walgreens pharmacy location. The staff is extremely rude and very slow. They act like its a nuisance when you get to the counter, and talk in a very rude way like you are inconveniencing their day being there. When I arrived back an hour later to pick up my prescription, I was advised to call my insurance provider to obtain some missing information which took over 45 minutes to do- and when I then provided the information needed, I was told to wait a few minutes so they could data enter what was needed, and I ended up waiting another 30 minutes. I would not recommend this Walgreens pharmacy to anyone and hopefully the staff here is aware of some of the feedback on their service, since it seems I am not the only one based on the other reviews below. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. The line took 30 minutes. Then had to wait another 15 min for them to try to fix their mistake in not using the coupon they had on file already. For 2 previous months they kept trying to use an expired coupon even though I already gave them the new one for 2019. This is a fairly new Walgreens and the location of it meets my needs, so I do frequent it. Most of the time they are quick to ring up your items. Many times when I'm in line, a manager helps and directs the customers to the registers. (Many times I've seen them direct individuals with alcohol to their line as the other employee is too young to sell the merchandise.) Unfortunately, a number of times I have encountered the staff standing around, socializing and as a patron, I simply feel ignored. Do I need them to assist my every need? No. But if I needed something I would feel like I'm bother them to ask, and that's the last thing I want to feel like when I'm spending money in your business. Additionally, it wouldn't hurt to feel acknowledged. I don't need you screaming like other pizza or ice cream chains, but a nice hello when you see someone wouldn't hurt either.
