Unfortunately, they are not staffed to take care of the large number of patrons in this area of Weston. The lines are always long; from seven to ten at any given moment, with only one, maybe two attendants plus the pharmacist. In addition, they are not well stocked on the bottles and containers needed. Yesterday, I picked up cough medicine for my child and when I got home, the bottle was filled just a quarter of the way. Thinking they made a mistake, I returned. I was told that they had been waiting for days on a shipment, so they had to use a larger bottle. That was confusing--especially because I had to pay $42 because insurance wouldn't cover it. Besides that, the store is kept clean but they can improve in some areas--especially hiring additional clerks up front and in the pharmacy, as I mentioned.

I came here to pick up prints because its close by but it proved to be more difficult to pick up than necessary. Overall, the store itself is clean and fully stocked. The service wasn't overall a great experience. Not sure if the person that was at the photo center was meant to work there but she had a sour demeanor and I felt like a burden just asking a simple question. Although hesitant to help me, she gave me my poster board and told me to check out at the register. When I went to check out, the lady at the register was also not helpful. She scanned my barcode and told me to pay although I already paid online. With a lot of back and forth, I finally left after 10 minutes with my posters when they realized that I had already paid. I have trying to locate a specific prescription for two plus weeks. I called this business. Spoke…read morea a very patient and understanding pharmacist....Samuel. He had what I needed and I needed to transfer the prescription to his shop. I went in person and got the electronic prescription from the Walgreens. Called him at 2:35pm Saturday. Knowing he closed at 3:00pm, I explained I might actually "just" arrive at 3:00pm. His answer to me was..."Not to worry, I'll wait for you...drive safe". We arrived at 2:58pm. He filled the prescription. Gave me the needed extra directions for using the solution. And even went back to get me an small empty pill bottle to "hold" the vial of solution. Samuel is the best example of a caring and concerned pharmacist. He went that extra step to make sure I was taken care of...that I understood the new directions. Thank you. Thank you.

After waiting at the pickup counter for several minutes with no assistance, I walked over to the register for help. The employee, who identified herself as Rose, immediately accused me of going behind the counter to look through the packages. I never did any such thing. I simply told her I believed I could see my package from the customer side of the counter. Rather than apologizing or asking a simple question, she chose to accuse me. When I told her she shouldn't make accusations without knowing the facts, she argued with me instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. She then retrieved my package and demanded my ID in a rude, dismissive tone, without even the basic courtesy of saying "please." When I asked her to be more polite, her response was, "Do you want your package?" That is completely unacceptable from anyone in customer service, especially someone who claims to be the store manager. I asked to speak with the manager, and she informed me that she was the manager. As I left the store, I asked another Walgreens employee if Rose was indeed the manager. She confirmed that she was. When I explained what had happened, the employee told me that multiple customers had complained about Rose before. If Walgreens values customer service, someone in upper management should seriously look into how customers are being treated at this location. A store manager sets the standard for the entire team. Rose's behavior was rude, confrontational, disrespectful, and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism customers should expect. (that was our first interaction) yes i'll have it ready for you i go in and the prescription proceeds to be $68 now i understand pharmacist do not have to accept insurance so i say you know what i can't afford all that so let me just get half a refill and i'll pick up the other half when you figure out the insurance. i call back a week later to ensure that they have the other half of my prescription and if they are gonna accept my insurance me: hello sorry to bother you again. this is john. i was just making sure that when i pick up my other half of my prescription i won't have to pay out-of-pocket since i have a zero co-pay and i have oscar insurance. will you accept my insurance this time (pharmacist: maybe depends on how i feel?!?!???) me: ok??? time comes to pick up the other half of my prescription and i get there. me: hey so you never called me to say you accept my insurance or not.( i just drove here on my bike in 98° heat with my dog which i did not mention) me: i look over at the pharmacist once i recognize his voice and i say oh you were the unprofessional one that said you might accept my insurance correct? pharmacist almost ready to jump over his desk screams fuck you get out of my store!! me: i laugh and point there's that professionalism that was over the phone. i should've expected this and not even wasted my time driving here as i walk out nearly being chased out which could've resulted in a physical altercation with an older pharmacist at his location. avoid this place at all costs. there is an older man that should be retired by now running it who is dangerous uncompassionate and almost got physical with me while i had my little dog i'm an honest person and this is an honest review, but this place had everybody staring at the pharmacist by his actions and how i called him out for being unprofessional. he probably lost all his customers in the store at that time as and i will be reporting this to the proper channels and maybe even getting a lawyer because of the unprofessionalism in medication that is maintenance meds. and not informing me he does not accept insurance until the last minute so that he makes you pay a truly evil person that has been probably jaded by working too long in this industry and needs to get out of it and that is my rant and my experience today and how that pharmacy functions everyone that works under him we're just smiling with their head down knowing they work for an insane person and they're probably not gonna be there long because he will be sued or lose the business because of his erratic actions. if possible, i would give zero stars i should've sat out front and called the police, but i'm gonna go to the marketing route and hopefully if people don't listen, they'll experience the same thing and he'll get more of these reviews

I received useful information and it was a pleasant experience. I strolled the store and they have a lot of hard to find items. Truly, a one of a kind store. I might even send prescriptions for me here in the future. It is a much nicer experience than at a large grocery store chain where I get prescriptions now. I like how they sell things for your home too. It feels very throwback but in a really wholesome and nice way If you want personalized service from people who care, I suggest coming here. The employees are happy to help and not stressed out like at other places. It feels like Grandma's house.
