Just most of the other Walgreens locations this one is clean and the items are faced and in order. We bought a full 10-pack of travel tissues for $2.00 (great deal) and cold medicine. This Walgreens usually has everything we need instead of ordering online through Amazon. They also offer a large celebration card section with helium balloons. Plenty of gift cards to choose from. It appears the a big money maker is the women's make up area and pharmacy. The cashier was friendly and the customer line went quickly. read more

I frequently use this store, most often for photo pickups. Generally my advice is to come in the mornings, not during lunch hours or between 5pm and 8pm. I am writing this review not for vengeance, but as a desperate attempt in hopes that management or HQ or somebody will take notice and fix the staffing problem at this store. I have filled out the survey at the bottom of my receipt as an additional layer of seeking HQ's attention. My experiences here in the mornings are good. My experiences in the evening are consistently disappointing and frustrating, mostly due to a lack of employee support at the store. It was especially frustrating today when an employee named Rose gave me an attitude amid my calm demeanor and polite approach to picking up my photo order. I think she was/is overwhelmed because nobody was at the photo center (as per usual) and a long line was forming at the register and no employees were around to help her. It is wrong for employees to be left treated like this, and the customers are punished for it also. Rose's job is hard at this busy hour. If Rose had more support, she probably would have a better attitude. Also - HQ, if I have your attention, I'd like to add this: I think your Rx customers would be 10x nicer to your pharmacy staff if you would employ more technicians and fix your terrible hold music which drives us bonkers. read more

I am absolutely disgusted in the way this store is even managed they had one cashier open as the line started piling up I asked if she was the only one working she replied yes and I'm not opening the other registers. Another Walgreens associate walks out of the photo department so I ask him can you open the register and the same cashier that told me no answered and said we can't open the other register.Mind you I been waiting for TeN mins while my son who just got out of the hospital is waiting outside with his father for me to grab the Motrin he needs. Best Walgreens on the county! Being coming over for years, they have an awesome customer service, doesn't matter what time you come over employees are always smiling! Also every holidays they have plenty of stuff! We can find, in addition to medicines, makeup, cosmetic, various souvenirs! The place Always looks and smells clean! Terrible pharmacy phone customer service! I called the pharmacy, the techs answer "quickly" just so that they blurt out "thanks for calling Im putting you on hold" extremely quickly and without pausing to even hear you out (to give the customers the illusion that they picked up). You wait a a few minutes then they do it AGAIN, blurt out that they are putting you on hold and proceed to leave you waiting and then HANG UP the phone. I called back and when the lady picked up I tried to interrupt her to let her know that ai had waiting for almost 10 mins to only get the call dropped by them and she said "sorry, I have to put you on hold" and put me back on hold. This happened one more time until the male pharmacist then answered the call and helped me. This is my 5th time dealing with the pharmacy. All prior interactions had been good but they have likely hired personnel who is NOT trained correctly or just doesn't care about customer service. read more

Do not get your vaccine shot in here!! Even with an appointment you could be there for hours! I arrived early for my daughter's shot and waited in line because the people working there couldn't figure out how to print the paperwork. Even their customer service told me "not to go there and get the shot at a county facility" read more

I love coming here because it's close to home. The pharmacy staff is pretty quick. I buy different knick knacks here, from makeup, to vitamins. They have really good asian chili chips that I'm addicted to. Make sure to sign up for a rewards card to save some money. They always have one cashier on but when there is a line, another person jumps on. The return process was easy too. I bought some makeup I didn't like and they gave me a store credit because I didn't have the receipt. Sometimes they have good sales such as buy one get one half off. They have a drive through pharmacy which is convenient. Make sure you have your insurance updated in the system. I had switch to a new insurance and brought it to them to update and it still wasn't updated when I went in the next time. The second tech actually scanned my new card in. I'm thinking the first tech was confused because I switched insurance cards but they were the same company which in turn caused them not to update the system. read more

***This review is solely for the pharmacy department*** Recently I had surgery and while I stopped at CVS and was told it was too late for them to fill my RX, I knew I needed to have these pills (pain meds) before I got home. Fortunately, I found this Walgreens and they helped me out immediately. I hobbled in, gave them my information and what was supposed to take 20 minutes took less than 10. Both the tech and the pharmacist were friendly and fast. And that's exactly what I needed. I'm not exactly sure what time they stop taking rx orders, but the didn't question anything. Again, that's exactly what you need when you just left the hospital. They help make my recovery easy. I was so thankful I offered to share my pain meds with them, thank goodness they declined because I really didn't want to share. read more

I have been part of the Welleby community since it became a community, too many years and with that said it has grown with so many more options. It saddens me that this Walgreens at this location has left me with a nasty taste, and it has definitely left me to proceed w/ taking my business to CVS which is literally face to face across the street from this location and any of my other needs to Publix's or any of the other convenient stores that are in this community. I'm sure, I'am not the only resident that feels this way as I see many reviews within months of this year, and the year has just started! The truth is regardless of how much I or anyone spends at the time of a purchased the customers is who makes your business succeed! Today I had to deal with the rudest cashier ( young thin girl of color who wears glasses ) who definitely should not be working behind a register. She doesn't greet nor say thank you, after taking your money and feels she can determine if she's going to correct a transaction the register overcharged for saying she will not correct. She had a line and never once called for back up even when asked of from other customers and myself. When asked to speak with a manager she didn't page one. ( just let me say I called corporate ) this Interaction that I had with this individual is just beyond. The topping of this was now having to ask another employee to page a manager. ( ridiculous) Manager came ( short heavier woman of color ) never once did she come to me as a professional as she preferred to speak behind the register. Is this the new norm of how any executive of management interacts with a customer who has asked to speak with them? As I expressed to her "manager" about the situation she chuckled under her mask (Totally unprofessional! ) at this time leaving me feeling that it wasn't important. I shouldn't had been placed in a situation of having to justify myself about the stores employee, I also know that the manager speaking to me in the busy front of the store should had taken place especially in front of other customers who were already upset because they were on line waiting. Prior the manager coming I had already returned the items but I did feel a need to let the professionals that run the business for this Multi million dollar corporation know of there employee perhaps they can re-train or re-evaluate / replace. As I mentioned, so many options. At this time I will take my business to another convenience store because we do have many; CVS, Walmart, Publix's, Winn-Dixie, I can keep going and I'm sure many other customers in this community are doing the same, going elsewhere, where it's hassle free and the service is a mirror of exceptional service! read more

Managers are very combative. They take it personally when you want to return something to the store. The GM that does the training needs to Remember that the customer is always right Life is too short to get upset about accepting a $3.00 coupon. On line coupons aren't always accurate. I always go to Walgreens to get my Medications, and today February 2-2018 i really have to write this review for the pharmacist whohelped me today with my Colonoscopy procedure for next week, her name is KIMOYA, she was so kind and had an such a impresived good actitud she even got out of the Pharmacy's counter to find for me everiything I need por the procedure and explained to me step by step with a such a nice smile and kindness. Came here to pick up my order of Christmas cards after getting an email sent by their store/location saying order processed and ready for pick up. I was calm just asking a question. She said hello can't you see over there our machine is broken with an attitude. I asked what I do or who I call in a calm voice. Hands me a receipt the general Walgreens hotline. Super unnecessary. I've been coming here since 1999 and I think the store though needs an upgrade and the surrounding curb appeal need manicuring badly. This Walgreens is terrible, their customer service leaves much to be desired. My doctor prescribe a glucose monitor and diabetic supplies and they gave me the monitor with no supplies because it wasn't clear. Why would I get a machine with no strips - how am I supposed to use the machine. When I called the pharmacy the lady got defensive because I said it is common sense if you get a machine you need the supplies. She took it personally and would not listen then proceeded to hang up on me. I called and there were no managers on site. They had me speak to a Mr. Hassan who was totally clueless. I frequent here because they're extremely local and my prescription medication is sent there. What bothered me the most was when I went in there one night for soap, body wash and Twix candy bars I was told by the cashier at the front register that my body wash had to be purchased in cosmetics. I turned my head and said "but there's no one there. Not to mention I got this off the same aisle as the soap." She proceeded to ring up my bars of soap and my candy bars and pushed my body wash to the side and repeated about purchasing it in cosmetics. Once I again I told her there isn't any one even at that register or over there. She then explained to me how it would be easier for the purchase to be made in cosmetics. All I could do was get upset. Not to mention this was my birthday as well 8/21/2014 and this cashier was refusing to ring up stupid body wash. Once the front register line was getting longer she eventually proceeded to ring up my $4.99 body wash!! I was so upset I wanted to return it but due to the customers behind me waiting to check out I said never mind. Once the transaction was complete she mentioned "Be well". I in turn said be well my @$$ and you have a horrible day. Really!! I couldn't purchase body wash at the front register. Believe me when I say I called the number on the receipt, complained and also asked for someone to call me back. That treatment I received was unacceptable. read more

I write specifically about the pharmacy and the incredible pharmacy team. What an amazing group of professionals who go to endless lengths to provide outstanding service. This is a very busy pharmacy from early morning until late at night and their use of technology is great. Refilling prescriptions is easy, notifications via text msg are immediate, and you can even pay via APP and skip all lines when picking up. The chief pharmacist (Tamara) is a whirlwind. She is always in motion and sets the pace that pharmacy staff follows. With a large family we always need something from Walgreens pharmacy and this particular Walgreens is worth the drive. I pass 3 other pharmacies in order to get to this one, and for good reason. Their extended hours from early morning until late at night is very appreciated. The best thing I did, years ago, was leave CVS and switch all my Rxs to this Walgreens. read more
