I'm a bit disappointed to see that this location doesn't have the best reviews. However, this Walgreens is conveniently located near my home and has always been my go to store. The store is always clean and organized, with shelves fully stocked and rarely any clutter on the floor. Yesterday, I visited for a quick consultation at the pharmacy, and the pharmacist assisted me immediately. They recommended a few items to help with a terrible cold and sinus congestion. Their advice was spot on, and the OTC medication they suggested worked perfectly! read more

My neighborhood Walgreens is not as nice as some of the newer locations. This store is dated and although it is well organized, it just doesn't look as nice as it could. The parking lot is always pretty dirty and there always seems to be an element of people that don't look like they live in my neighborhood. Maybe because there is a busstop on the corner or because it is on the border of Sunrise and Plantation. The service is usually pretty good because if you need anything that is behind a locked cabinet, you must contact someone with a key. I think the pharmacy technicians are okay although they always seem as if they are tired and worn out. Convenience is key but if I am near a different Walgreens, I will stop in there. read more

Worst pharmacy in town. There are two pharmacist. One tries her best the other is disheveled mess never shaven and give questionable responses. I tried to use the drive through only to wait 25 mins to pick up. Instead of telling the person in front of me to come in or come back around. They just simply made us wait behind them keep in mind I had 8 cars behind me. The dishelved mess of a man said what do you want me to do. As if he's not in full control of meds. And simply needs to say your meds are delayed could you please pull forward. Instead I was made the victim after waiting 26 minutes for my script. This is an average sized Walgreens. It's bright, clean and always has fully stocked shelves in all depts. It's conveniently located & open 24 hours except for the pharmacy which closes at 9/10pm weekdays/weeknights. The pharmacy has a drive thru for your ease and convenience. The staff here is for the most part polite and sometimes even friendly. One issue I would like to point out is with the pharmacy. I was recently told by a pharmacy person, not sure if it was a tech or a pharmacist, at this location, a medication I've been using for many years, was no longer being manufactured but they had a generic version available. I told the pharmacy person I would call around to other pharmacies as I knew this not to be true. The pharmacy person then replied that I had never taken out that medication with Walgreens. I told her that is correct I was getting it at CVS. She then corrected her earlier statement to say that Walgreens no longer carries this medication. Sure enough CVS had the medication and I swiftly had the prescription transferred from this Walgreens to CVS. This tactic didn't sit well with me so I'm not sure if I'll use this pharmacy again and if I do I will definitely do my due diligence before allowing them to fill a prescription. The other downsides are the long lines they always seem to have and the tight, sometimes congested parking lot. read more

The most horrible customer experience ever!! Do not go here!!! Pharmacist refused to help me find Sudafed. Then when I was checking out the cashier yelled at me for punching in my card information too soon. She yelled "what are you doing, can you see I'm still ringing up your items". I went at 4:50pm on 6/1. So hopefully a manager will see this and talk to their employees. read more

This is my go-to drug store and pharmacy. It is a very, very busy Walgreen's. You can expect to wait a few people at the pharmacy or at check-out most of the time. The store generally is pretty clean and well stocked. They have a big cosmetics and skin care selection in particular. I've found the associates who work in that area to be well trained and knowledgeable about the products. This Walgreen's does not have a liquor store, but does sell beer, wine and cocktail mixers. read more

The worst customer service of any Walgreens Ive ever been to! The young man who works at night is so rude. The pharmacy staff is totally incompetent. The only person at this pharmacy that has Any Compassion at all is the young man with the pony tail- wish I would've caught his name. He actually runs the show there. The pharmacist acts like hes frantic and the new girls ask him a question and he just shins them off- like nobody is properly trained there- and they hired a bunch of young girls who don't even know how to pull up a name in the computer or answer a basic question like- do you have all of these prescriptions here in house at this time? They tell you to wait and will call you when its ready but no idea like wait here or wait at home- hello?! My cousin bought makeup from this Walgreens recently... she couldn't any thing on her makeup brush (We were on FaceTime and I saw everything) so she tried getting some straight on her finger, then a paper towel, which she didn't get anything. She asked my to come over (which I did) and showed me a 'trick'. She left the makeup container open and from the height of 6-7 feet (she is 4'9" and bed is 2.5') dropped the cosmetics. Not even a crack!! Old, old products! How is this cheap makeup not cracking when my $60 set shattered from a 2 foot drop?!!?! Avoid this Walgreens at all costs! Aweful service!!! When you call nobody answers the phone, I've called and let it ring 15- 20 times. When someone does answer they abruptly say" please hold" and you are back on hold for another long wait, until you just hang up out of frustration! I realize how busy it can be but the pharmacy's lackadaisical attitude and poor customer service is disgraceful... I will be moving my RX to another pharmacist even if I have to drive a way to get it. read more

Since we moved I've been going to my former Walgreens for prescriptions and such as it's easy, on my way home from work. This Walgreens, off of Nob Hill, is outstanding! Everyone that works here is amazing. Super friendly, very helpful and extremely professional. When we walked in I noticed Jeff unloading a huge palette (sp?) by the front door. Big batches of water and more. As we shopped I saw him restocking and helping people find things. Then, as we were wrapping up, I decided we needed some fresh flowers for the house. He was at the register now, and graciously paused (pretty much without missing a beat) from ringing someone up to provide me with a plastic bag to keep the water contained with the flowers. He is a big part of what makes this Walgreens amazing, and a great example of the other lovely people that work here. The pharmacist herself came out to help me find a specific item, very impressive and appreciated. They are on point at this location. This is why I'll be back again, and again, and again. Don't buy alcohol at any Walgreens. Any expectation of privacy is out the window. In order to buy beer you must have your driver license scanned, which in turn reveals your social security number to some third party. To avoid the issue you must have to get a manger to approve the transaction. Coupled with long lines this place is no longer convenient. Go to Publix or Walmart if you value your privacy. read more

I had scripts sent to CVS but because of a switch in insurance, their pharmacist let me know Walgreens accepts my insurance and is usually really quick, and that he knows the pharmacy staff directly across the street. I just happen to live caddy corner to another Walgreens right up the road on Sunrise and Nob Hill, so I figured I'd have my meds moved there. I tried calling for an hour and never got through to anyone. When I finally walked in, there were 4 people working at 7:00 pm, and other than one vehicle in the drive through, there didn't seem to be any other pharmacy customers. When I explained I wanted my pharmacy profile transferred over, they advised it would take at least 24 hours, which "is standard". Not being able to wait that long until my next dose I drove back to CVS on Broward & Nob Hill. Their pharmacist was baffled, and suggested I try the one across the street from them at the same intersection. He said they were super quick and the two pharmacies have a great working relationship. I gave them a call and their pharmacy team said the transfer and fill would take no more than 30 minutes, so "standard" my butt! I've been there before for just routine shopping and their staff is never very friendly or quick. I will honestly drive 5 extra miles in the opposite direction to avoid ever having to come back to this Walgreens. read more

Customer service is what makes this Walgreens stand out to me. All of the staff is very pleasant and personable. They constantly offer unsolicited help and most even greet you as you enter the store. That is not something that i would expect in this type of store. As with most Walgreens, it is very well kept and has most anything you are looking for. I would recommend this store to anybody. read more

I rarely stop here unless I'm too lazy to drove to the Walmart down the road. Even when they have sales on products, I find non-sale prices at other stores to generally be better (especially for cigarettes). I have found some good bargains on kid's toys, however. Manager can't manage. I had a procedure that was cancelled, so I returned the medicine ($7.00). Two employees told me that the Manager would have to approve it. I waited (she knew I was waiting) for over 20 minutes. After saying that there would be no problem, she then told me that they do not take back medicine. This was not true. Had it been true, why weren't the other clerks aware of the policy and why didn't they tell me not to wait for her. Outrageous! read more

The cashiers here are extremely nice. However, on a few occasions, there is a manager (a white Spanish man) who has gone out of his way to be extremely belligrent towards my mother when she has only asked where she may locate something in the store. On the last occasion that she visited, he turned to another employee and began saying incredibly rude things about her in Spanish, which my mother understood perfectly as she is a native speaker. Here's a tip: you live in South Florida. We all speak Spanish here, buddy. read more
