The clerk directed me to the Titos vodka jugs for a decent price and several mini bottles of rum as cola mixers for only $1.00 each. I don't know why there is such bad ratings. I haven't had any issues. I like that's it's 24 hours- including the pharmacy. It's convenient that I can always know I have a place to go. I normally don't write reviews, but this experience at the Walgreens drive-thru was too frustrating to ignore. We were in the second drive-thru lane to pick up our medication, and Carissa, the pharmacy staff member on duty, completely ignored us. She continued assisting everyone in the first lane, even as we waited patiently and clearly signaled that we were there. There was no acknowledgment, no explanation, and no attempt to rotate between lanes or check on us. It felt like we were invisible. We ended up waiting far longer than necessary while watching multiple cars in the first lane get helped one after the other. The drive-thru is supposed to be a convenient option, especially for those who may be sick or have trouble going inside. But this felt like anything but convenient. If you're going to operate two lanes, both should be managed fairly -- otherwise, what's the point? Really disappointing service. read more

Horrible store. I had sent something sent to print there for wedding and got an email saying delay then never got update. Called next day and they say they cancelled it as they had no ink. I just recently got photos done at this location and they did amazing job on my calendar. In the past I have had problems but it came out great thanks to casar the manager. He knows his job and he goes behind for his customers. I usually never write on here but I want the store to know how good hes doing. Normally this location is awesome. However tonight they suck. I sat in the far lane to drop off a prescription to be filled (which is what that lane is for) I sat and waited until the customer in the first lane was done. I was ignored for a good 5 minutes+ then he waited on someone else who was there way after me! Even the woman in the first lane told him I was there first. By this time the RX would have been in the que to be filled by then. The tube wasn't even available for me to even send it in. What gives? Not cool! Seriously, WTF? read more

They text me when my medications are ready and they are open 24/7 what more can I ask for ? 1/7/25 approx 12:30 pm came to get a flu shot the elderly male pharmacist on staff did not open the needle in front of me. I inquired if there were any reactions he raised hid voice at me and said "I don't know I don't know". Needless to say, the whole interaction made me very uncomfortable that I declined to even get the vaccine because the pharmacist was rude and uneducated about a vaccine he was going to be administering. The Florida Department of Health should check into this guy and his license. read more

I am really concerned that I even had to get a full star for this review. When you think of a Walgreens and the services that they share their commitment for and the people they serve sitting right across from Nova Southeastern University health profession division and down from that the HCA hospital you would think that you would receive way better customer service. Asking for something as simple as Ginger turned into a horrible clown show. Where the cashier goes and get the lady in the photo area named Tanya who's very nonchalant and disconnected and don't even know how to spell customer service, to getting this guy with the white jacket who stands in front of medical supplies clearly I'm related to Ginger the subject of the matter. After a while they all decide to simply walk away from the customer requesting their assistance. They would have been better off pretending to be mannequins that can't hear and don't speak english!!! This is by far the worst Walgreens I've ever gone to.. if you don't want to work and it's okay it's a choice then stay home I'd rather see the sign in the window we are short staff than to experience such a horrific customer service experience. This by far is the worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with on a regular basis! I have no idea why I've used them for so long. I am using the location in Cooper City now because I have had no problems working with them. This pharmacy is always behind, inconsistent, rude and can not take responsibility for the poor job that they do. When they call and ask you what the issue is they merely put you on mute and ignore you until you are finished speaking. But still never actually taking responsibility or helping in any way. This pharmacy is poorly run and poorly staffed. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area so I recommend using one of those. If I could leave zero stars I would. read more

I am finally reviewing this because I threw in the towel with Walgreens. I unfortunately have some health issues and have too many medications to fill every 30-90 days. I chose this location specifically due to the pharmacy being open 24 hours. It's always nice to feel secure in the sense that at 11pm you realize you have no more medications. It is also a pain in the butt to come here. It is located across the street from NSU so you have that population shopping as well. You are often waiting in line longer than you want to. This used to be my location when I first moved down to Florida due to going to classes at NSU, working there, and also living close by. I always try to find a 24 hour pharmacy near me because there has been late night emergencies with medications (I dropped a vial of insulin shortly after being diagnosed and it is not easy if you don't have existing prescriptions there). I moved back to Davie a year ago and decided to choose this location again. It has been a pain because neither my husband or I usually travel that way on university. I recently quit here because my insurance only allowed me to refill meds from CVS. The pharmacists have messed up my medications many times. I always check the order before I leave like take out food because there's almost always something missing. I get they are busy most of the time but then they have to double the work once I correct it. It gets annoying. This is not the only location I have had issues with. There is this one male pharmacist that has been here as long as I have been in FL and he's pretty on point. read more

I called to transfer a prescription there from Walmart because they said they could get me the same medication for half the price with the good RX coupon. I gave them a detailed description of the medication. Unfortunately, despite that effort, they still screwed up. They carried a different size so it didn't apply to that coupon. So the medication can't be transferred back so I have to wait till Monday to get a new prescription called in to Walmart. Just a typical wall greens, but the location is nice across the street from NOVA, and they do always have the morning paper in stock. The clerks move the lines fast, the isles are clean, and there is always plenty of parking. I will also not that they have the snickers bars in a location at the register that has made it so I am never able to get out of here without one. read more

I called Walgreens to see about a price for something and I got declined. Are you serious? I can call any grocery store, any mall stores and they would gladly check the price for me. In this case, this was just pure laziness. "We can't do that" he said. Smh. You can't look at a price? Worst PHARMACY ever...I have yet to have them get my script correct...ripped me off for $ 400.00 in January and no recourse with insurance after hours on phone ...they swapped out my covered name brand script for a generic that is not fully covered (got stuck because I accepted it and Walgreens offered no assistance even though it was their mistake)...and have the same done each and every time...it makes a 150.00 difference each month...then when I challenge them they get indignant and argue with me over it ...frankly BAD customer service...the real problem is I am sort of stuck with them as my insurance carrier FLORIDA BLUE only has them as the single source supplier...:( BOYCOTT this store ! read more

This is not a pharmacy that is as bad as the other reviews would make it seem. I have learned through experience to avoid the "rush hours" of after work time and around 8 pm. That will almost certainly have a line around the block for the drive in. I also have learned that coming here at random times is also variable considering this location is right across from the university and given the large amount of medical students there can be a large influx of people at 2pm on a Monday. I rarely come here if I need something urgently because I never know how long it's going to take just to drop something off. However I do have the phone app which is nice because they will send you alerts and emails to tell you when your order is ready, and it's usually not much more than an hour. I haven't had too many issues here other than the lines. As far as the actual store goes, it can also get backed up with lines during the day as well given the percentage of students that come in for a Red Bull or coffee before class. Keep in mind there is a liquor store attached here but it has a separate entrance and is its own separate entity not attached to the pharmacy, not open 24/7 like some people would hope. I'll continue to come here but it's very touch and go. Pack your patience. read more

IF YOU NEED PRESCRIPTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER, DO NOT USE THIS STORE!! My wife recently got ill while she was traveling in Florida. It was a Sunday and I had our family doctor call in (from Texas) for the prescription to this Walgreen location at around noon. They took the order, but when my wife went there to pick up the prescription about 3PM they claimed not to have received any prescription. I called my doctor up again and he reordered the prescription, and at 6PM CST they still did not have it. I called the store to find out what was going on, and they never picked up. After several attempts, someone called Louise picked up and was oblivious about the prescription. When I told her that my doctor had called in couple of times, she advised me that she was a call center and not the store. She was wanting take another prescription order and I told her that I just wanted the prescription filled. At that point she said she would connect me to the store. My wife in her sickness was a the store waiting for the prescription for over an hour at that point I was on hold for 45 minutes (where the store was not answering their phones). My wife was in the store in front of the pharmacy and she noticed that the phone was ringing but the staff didn't even bother picking up the phone. (I was using one phone to talk with my wife, while my other phone was on hold with the store). The store somehow found the prescription and filled it close to 7:30PM while I was making a stink about it. Finally, around 8:40 EST someone by the name of 'Ocoro' pick up the phone. Not only was he RUDE but was not even able to explain why they did not receive the prescription when it was submitted around noon. I told him I was on the phone for 45 minutes...and he was like..."tough shit"...see the picture of my phone time attached. Overall, I find this location extremely unreliable and unprofessional. How would one rely on a store like this to fill your prescriptions in an emergency? I think Walgreens better retrain their staff to be more courteous to their customers and rethink the process of outsourcing the prescription ordering. I will never use this location again and will stay away from Walgreen's since this is an example of how customers are viewed more as a nuisance to their employees and corporate culture. This Walgreens at one time was the highest grossing in prescription revenue in Broward county. Many contract changes have transpired, thus losing very a large client base. I personally have experienced bringing in prescriptions for 4 family members and when I picked them up I Always check the medicines; for if it is what was written for and whom. I can attest to at least 4 times multiple errors were made on ALL the RXs! I would show the Pharmacist and he/she would correct and apologize. I let our insurance carrier know about the incidents and yes our company was one that NO longer does business with this company chain. They over charge by a gross amount of at least 150% by my calculations. I did not feel Safe Anymore with something that literally could kill one me or some one else. The thought of the others that don't check their medicines really disturbed me greatly! Several years they would have an annual audit of prescription records by the Feds and we were being called to ask for OUR records to cover a Mistake on their end. Or even have Our Doctor's Office call to help them with their error. Nope!! That was IT! I pulled ALL our business and took it all somewhere else where safety is felt again and I can speak with pharmacists easily. Safety is paramount! A pharmacist IS a Doctor, who must get a License in Each State just like a Medical Doctor. Please be sure you feel safe where you go! I only buy food or what nots now. WATCH OUT! read more

This is the absolute worst Walgreens store. I am totally done with this store. From now on I will drive to a different Walgreens or another drugs store for items I need. They over charge for items all the time. I would say I have been over charged for at least 1 item including prescription drugs at least every other time I have shopped here. I had already switched all my medications to another pharmacy due to pricing & service, lack there of, but now I will also change stores for ANY shopping that I would have done here. All the other reviews are from last year or before. Either no one bothers to leave reviews or they have since moved onto other stores. Walgreens has gotten too big. I received a message from "Walgreens" that a prescription was due. I ordered it and received a response that it would be ready with a scheduled pick up time. When made a special 30 mile trip to pick up, the pharmacy tech informed me "it was too early." I explained that I had received instructions it was but that did not matter. I spoke with manager "Mike" and was informed that the message was generated by a "third party" and that he would speak with his manager about the problem. I requested to be contacted, but nobody called. I got another message that another Rx was due. Again the same run around. On the second order I included a note requesting that if they could not honor the quoted pick-up date to please call me. But nobody called. So TWO wasted trips.THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS!!!! I have written before and nobody ever responded. Website contact form does not work. I will be posting this on google and every forum I can find. Having recently moved I was stuck with choosing a new Walgreens for my pharmacy use and I must say this has to be the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Even after they personally call to tell me my prescription was ready on two different days I get there and they were not ready. The wait time of going through the drive thru is always a minimum of 20 min not matter how many cars are there. Having used this pharmacy three times already I come for a fourth and they don't even have my insurance in the system.
