This is your typical CVS. It is located in a plaza, same one as Dunkin and UPS Store. I've been a handful of times for random stuff. The store was organized. I had to stop in to purchase baby formula a few times. Also, snacks and various other items. Other than that, it's a decent CVS. Just be careful in the parking lot, people drive pretty fast in there. read more

Easy parking in front lot. Pharmacy and Photo sections are quick and the staff is knowledgeable. This location like other CVS have several Buy 1 Get 2nd 1/2 off items. Great Hallmark card and bag section toward the back. Decent flower supply by the front door. My favorite is the candy and energy drink aisles. Massive make-up section with major brands like Revlon and Colorstay. read more

Average size CVS on Oakland Park and Hiatus Rd. I found the store not very well lit, it seemed darker than other similar sized CVS stores in the area. I went to get some little toys and their selection was decent. The prices were not bad for name brand toys. The were not many staff employees by the counter nor around the store. It seemed a bit desolate in terms of staffing. Otherwise a place for a quick stop, like most other CVS stores. read more

I entered this building hoping for a 5 star meal, such as ones at 7/11 or Long John Silvers but that is not quite what I found. The food isn't bad but when I went in the food section I started taking all the little food pill things that they were serving, the employee tries to stop me even though I paid for all of it. Once I was done I saw the world for what it truely is. Cupcakes and rainbows everywhere, I even met the Tuxedo Man, who I assume to be the Hat Man's brother. Anyway we were having a nice talk, sipping in cups of Pepto Bismol. Then the blue men came in to take me out of the store. As they were throwing me into the siren cars I saw Hat Man robbing the cash register again. Then the Tuxedo Man tried to stop him which resulted in getting attacked as the Hat Man escaped with the money. Then the blue men took me away. The food tasted fine but the fun stuff happened after I ate, the employees were horrendous and wouldn't let me eat in peace, and the ambiance was fine when I got there but got even better after my meal. Ray ray and Juan were the night time shift employees this evening on March 19, 2026. With multiple complications with my photo order, they both with their best intentions did their best to assist my wife and I. With indulgence and perseverance Ray Ray helped me out and went above and beyond with kind intentions. On the other hand Juan and I had some complications but in the end with love and affective communication, came to mutual appropriate understandings . This was a learning experience for us all, and I appreciate those two for all they've done, and all efforts given for quality customer service. read more

The pharmacist was extremely rude. I called to check the status of my prescription and asked how long it would take before I could pick it up, since I only have a 7-day window to collect it. Instead of giving me any helpful information, she replied, "It'll take however long it takes," which was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. read more

My family and I have been yesterday and left the prescription for Vitamin D at the pharmacy, and a pharmacist told us to come back at the afternoon to pick up ready product, and that you're going to receive a message. I received a message around 5 pm and got there at 5:55 pm, but the pharmacy has been closed already, and a manager told to come in the morning for pick up. Today at 11:50 am we came back to the pharmacy and for the ? Is it ready, a pharmacist said NO, I just received your prescription and you supposed to wait another day! I know. Four stars for CVS, what am I crazy? No. I know. They aren't consistently great - but of late, they ARE. Maybe it's Aetna's influence on the company, I don't know, but now they are doing better! Yesterday I got a text that a 90-day prescription refill was ready for either pick up or delivery. There was a link in the text to set up delivery or even pre-pay before going to the store for pick up. That's a great way to reduce the amount of time I'd be in the store or on line for drive-through service. When I clicked on the link, I saw the price was higher than the last time. I went online to goodrx.com to get a coupon code to reduce the price and called the store to have the discount applied to the order. The pharmacy rep used the code and then told me he had an even better discount he could apply to the order. Sweet! He applied the code and a few minutes later when I clicked on the link in the text, I could see the price was updated. I elected to have the order delivered at no charge and entered my credit card info. That was it. It took me less than 5 minutes to look up the price, make the call and arrange for delivery. Wow. I couldn't have driven to the store that fast. I got a text confirming the delivery was scheduled too. No drama. CVS. Wow, they have really improved the customer experience. Even their IVR is easier to use. It makes me want to give them more business because they respected my time and simplified the process. Gotta give credit where credit is due! read more

I had to run in this morning, on my way to work, to pick up a gift bag, tissue, and a birthday card. To my dismay, when I asked the store associate where the restroom was located, she said she was sorry but their bathrooms are closed due to COVID. What? You're kidding. Why? So, I left without purchasing anything and went next door to DD, used the restroom, and made a purchase there just because they have their restrooms open to their patrons and are not afraid of serving them. read more

Their pharmacist is no clue what he's doing. They gave me medicine for my child that's supposed to be a suspension form and they "forgot" to mix it. Where did this pharmacist and the technicians go to school? If they can get hired by cvs anyone could. Go apply, no qualifications needed. read more

Worst experience ever, do not use the pharmacy. Doctor sent the order at the pharmacy for pick up at 10:30, 3 hours later, i come to pick it up and after 20 minutes in line i am told that the pharmacist has to perp it, another 15 minutes... Don't waist your time here, not only the service is bad but there is a 24/7 Walgreens pharmacy across the street. This is not the first time this happens. Good luck! read more

Been getting my prescriptions here for the last couple months and there was a problem every single time. Instead of telling you they are out of stock, they just filled half of your prescriptions and let you ride home with it, or keep saying they have nothing instead of checking the system. One time I brought in the prescriptions myself and one tech raised their voice at me saying they had nothing. Then they found the papers laying around for 3-4 hours. The pharmacists seem to be in a bad mood at all time. Adding to the fun, not sure if the staffs are burned out but this is the least friendly CVS pharmacy out there, on the scale of CVS friendliness. Needless to say I rather drive another 10 minutes to somewhere else a little more competent.... read more

Multiple times at the location the pharmacy has been a mess. To where I've waited in the line outside and then they tell me I have to come inside. I come inside and then make me go to the back of the line Bc they still haven't figured out how to dispense my boyfriends insulin. His medicine he depends on for type 1 diabetes. I've been on the phone waiting for someone to pick up for over an hour and end up just coming in to find out it's still not available. So unorganized and the staff seems improperly trained and over whelmed with the volume they see. I will not be using this pharmacy ever again. The CVS pharmacy here is the slowest I ever attended and I live in NYC for 20 years where there was no CVS drive through as well only there being a handful of CVS in the city. And, still this CVS in Oakland Blvd moves as slow as the elderly people picking up their medication. The medication that they commit to having ready in an hour is never true, there is always a disconnect from the doctors office when prescriptions are sent electronically. This location uses the pharmacy pickup drive through window, as testing for COVID and filling prescriptions at the window. I spoke with the pharmacy manager about the multiple vehicle pile up and his excuse was this location needs another person. This happened on my return to pick up my medication twice. I had to park and go inside to pick up my refill prescription that I called in before my arrival. At this location you will wait, as I did outside in your car or choose to go in for your pickup. I suggest going somewhere else that provides a drive through pickup with less waiting. read more

The pharmacy staff here is HORRIBLE. Rude, condescending and belittle their customers. I wrote this as I stand in line and watch in AWE of how they treat customers especially the elderly. They flat out refuse to serve customers , and I have never witnessed the unprofessionalism as I am seeing here. They say "we are understaffed" and it appears that they are jaded, overworked and miserable. Do better CVS. I had a 310pm appointment for a COVID test and waited for over an hour. I called and apparently they accept drive ups without an appointment and multiple people in one car. You get the picture. It's ridiculous. If you have to wait over an hour don't even take appointments. Stay away from this place. read more

If I could give this store a negative zero I would. I've used the pharmacy at least five times with the same results. The store is literally three minutes from my house but I'll drive to Miami to fill my prescription before I patronize this store again. The Pharmacy is ALWAYS slow with a minimum of a 15 minute wait whether you use the drive thru or inside. I actually feel sorry for the Pharmacist because some of the Techs have no sense of urgency and it's obvious they aren't receiving the help they need. It took the young lady in the drive thru 20 minutes to serve the vehicle in front of me. I thought maybe they had issues with their prescription. When I got up to the window to pick up one prescription in which I received two messages that it's ready to pick up it was literally a twelve minute wait because the young lady was walking around as though there were no people in line with no sense of urgency or concern. read more

She was so rude to me blaming her pregnancy on the situation..hey if you don't want to be pregnant it's not my fault don't blame me that you are miserable. If I could give this cvs a zero I would. My wife is disabled and on pain meds. The meds are highly managed so you can't just switch pharmacy's at will and it is vital my wife has this or she would literally have to go to the hospital. Twice the pharmacist has forgot to order this medication even though it's highly regulated and needs to be ordered in advance. They don't say they are sorry , they offer no remorse they plain and simple leave a patient hanging. Tonight I had to go to five pharmacies in the area as they will not speak to you about a narcotic on the phone. Of course nobody has any as it needs to be ordered in advance. I guess we will be at the hospital this weekend. I really hate this store. read more

This is the worse CVS I have ever been to. Customer service is not the main priority in this store. If you call the pharmacy, you have to wait over 30 mins for someone to pick up the phone. They will pick up and hang up on you and then you have to call back to be placed back into the queue and wait another 30 mins. A pharmacy tech by the name of Sabrina picked up the phone and said she noticed I called several of times but never called me back once to hear what I was calling about. She was not understanding at all. Very quick to get me off the phone. She told me that I had no scripts ready and nothing was called in. I explained to her that my doctor's office called my script in and she said they had nothing pending for me. When I asked her if my doctor's office was lying because they told me that they called and had to leave it on the pharmacist voicemail, she said she would call me back because she sees the pharmacist voicemail blinking. She called me back and said that there was actually a script for me. When I told her I was upset and frustrated about this and that I was going to issue a formal complaint, her whole demeanor changed. I called the corporate number and filed a complaint and was told the district manager was supposed to call me back. Instead, I had the pharmacist of the CVS, Eli, call me back. Basically, what he told me is that he is understaffed and they try to do the best they can. Also, that ever since Hiatus opened up, they have been more busier than ever. He explained to me that Publix has more staff and less scripts to fill. I explained to him that I have NEVER had a problem in another location before and that this is the only location that I have had an issue with the phone not being picked up within a reasonable amount of time and my script being ready. My script was called in at 2pm and it still wasn't ready. I work for a medical insurance company and member care is our 1st priority. That's not what you get here! I guess I will be going to Publix to fill my script moving forward since they have time and more technicians to give me the care I need. The pharmacy closes at 9 and it was 8:30 when I was told by Eli, the pharmacist, that my script was ready. When I got here, there was 4 cars ahead of me and 2 behind me. I will never be back to this location again. I respect Eli's honesty but customer care is very important for me. Especially when I'm supposed to take my medication on a daily basis. read more

Do not go here. Ever. Had to have my daughter's med transferred over bc Publix didn't have it. Fine. Went to CVS and they wouldn't even call Publix for me to confirm the transfer. They even said they don't have it. How do you even know if I didn't tell you the name of Finally gave them the medicine name from the paper I got from the DR and they looked it up and "oh ok we have it ". Ya I knew that. It's simple ear drop meds. Then they made me fill out a transfer form. Fine. Filled it out. So they tell me it's gonna take an hour. For what? If you have it there it shouldn't take longer than 14-20 min. Went home. Waited and waited for them to text/call to say it's ready. Nothing. Husband had to go back out. He went to CVS and they had NO clue what he was talking about. FFS. Really?! Incompetent people working in the pharmacy. Finally he had to call Publix and get it transferred to Walgreens.
