Went to the clinic they have with an online appointment. The appointment was quick and easy. They answered all my questions and gave me all the info I needed. The pharmacy however is not the best with in having prescriptions ready on time. It would be better if they would give a more accurate answer of when prescriptions would be ready. This is for drive-thru service only, but not to take away [in any way] from all the time and assistance offered by the pharmacy associate who helped me find the best price. The pharmacy at this location is not my pharmacy, but if we were closer in distance, it would be. Although not easily visible from the street due to all of the trees and shrubbery, once you turn into the driveway, the Drive-Thru is the focal point of the standalone. There's not much more to say, other than for more than a decade, when I have picked up a prescription here, customer satisfaction has clearly been at the tippy top of their list. Rightly deserved, in turn, I take a little time to publicly thank the business and recommend them to others! Oh, and as a footnote, when exemplary customer service is offered, go the extra step and complete a survey with the business or company, mentioning the employee by name, since we aren't able to do so in our reviews. This is for the clinic run by University of Miami. We were able to make an appointment online for a Sunday morning appointment. We got there about 15 minutes early and signed in. All documents and payments are taken at the sign in counter. We met with the nurse practitioner, Jose, and he was very thorough and nice. He made my 12 year old feel comfortable. The clinic room was very clean and we will definitely be back if we need to. read more

Big disappointment. This place just went through a major renovation. Usually this is to improve a store. Not this time. Sad to say my neighborhood Walgreen's has died and come back as a cosmetic store. Reminiscent of the cosmetic departments found in Burdines or Macy"s. Half the store is now devoted to the stuff. Gone are the isles with all the cool stuff. Like the beach necessities and toys, greeting cards. seasonal items etc. etc. There is still a smattering of these items squeezed into the small isles that are left but nothing like before. The only true improvement is the urgent health care center added in the back. That is as long as it isn't too urgent. This is new and already pretty busy. I can only imagine that it will get busier as the word gets out and the wait will only get longer. Looks like I will have to travel a little farther to find my old friendly style Walgreen's. Staff does not seem to be happy working here. I asked three different people where an item was. I got three different answers. It turns out they don't sell it anymore!!! Their prices are very high unless there happens to be something on sale. It is difficult to get in and out of the parking lot here. The line I waited on today was very long and did not move quickly. I filled a prescription here that I paid over 300 and they gave me the generic without asking me first. The next time I filled the prescription and requested the name brand they had to order it and said it would take 5 days to get it. On the fifth day it wasn't filled so I called and waited on hold for 25 min before I just hung up. I've never had to work so hard to get the correct prescription and now my son is out of his medicine. I'd rather just drive a little farther and go to CVS. read more

This is so far the worse Walgreens I've been to. Which such a great potential because the pharmacy is a good size with a nice waiting area but the workers lack of sense of urgency and look unmotivated to work. Everything takes forever here. They text you when prescriptions are ready just for you to drive there and find out you will need to come back in 1 and a half hours. The workers don't greed you look angry all the time and are very rude. Drive thru is a joke they purposely take forever making huge lines on the side of Bonaventure blvd. What a terrible place to go. I wish I was exaggerating when I said it took an hour literally to get my RX from here. I understand things are hectic with covid but this was pure lack of efficiency and competence. I dropped my physical RX off at 12pm and it was not only not ready when I went to pick it up at 8, but waited an hour after getting there. The drive through line was just as ridiculous. I have used this pharmacy since I moved here and keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but I'm going to have to switch. My 3 year old has an awful double ear infection and I dropped off her prescription hours ago. Very straightforward. The girl who waited on me put down a different benefits number than they normally do. They already had it in their system but were creating a new account for my daughter. She said it would be ready in about an hour but over two hours went by. I kept getting messages saying there was an insurance issue. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes. The girl who spoke to me was rude and kept cutting me off. She said the insurance wanted more information. I was thinking hmm was anyone going to call me? Also, I had a prescription I had dropped off with them days ago and they hadn't updated me. I asked about it and she said it wasn't approved through the insurance. I had just received a call a couple of hours ago from my clinic saying they had sent approval to my insurance and I was good to go. I told her that and she said 'well I already ran it and they said no so I'm not sure what you want me to do' she gave no other options nor offered to call insurance or help. Seems like if they run into issues they just ignore them. This has happened multiple times. This Walgreen store is breathe taking, it is something you must experience. The store is definitely commitment to keeping the body healthy and beautiful. My 10 minute stop to pick up a few items at the nearest Walgreens turn into 30. The store was very interesting, made me want to tour each aisle. My tour review as follows: 'The Look Boutique' adds another dimension to your shopping experience, especially if you love cosmetics. The cosmetic line was very impressive. Actually, the product line and entire section reminded me of a high-end department store. The pharmacy had a lot of informative material about diabetes to read while you wait. In addition, the store has a fantastic selection of grab-to-go healthy foods (fresh fruit cups, salads, sushi, & sandwiches). The customer service was superb. Francette & Senait Two angels disguised as humans living casually on planet earth working at this Walgreens . The absolutely best experience at this location I have ever had in my life. One of the best experiences I have had at any Walgreens. They were very nice and helpful I was having trouble because my insurance hasn't kicked in at my new job. They told me what steps to take to contact my doctor and remedy the situation. They were both very calm very understanding very helpful very polite. The last time when I picked up my prescription and my prescription was on time and they had a lot of clients to deal with. They have displayed elevated customer service in my opinion. I have worked in high-end luxury goods for over 10 years I know good customer service when I see it and I saw it today with both of these associates. Soo disappointed and frankly revolted. As a licensed Physician in Florida I have prescribed to my wife who is also my patient an anxiolytic which is also a controlled substance as Florida law fully allows. I was told by this inept Pharmacist Jason ,who would not even give me his last name that he was not going to fill my wife's prescription based on "ethical" reasons and that if I insisted he was going to make sure that I was going to hear from the Board of Medicine! When I asked him about his last name so I could complain he told me to "stop harassing the pharmacy staff" and hang up on me. The only other contact I had before him was with a young lady who worked at the counter filling prescriptions and had an amicable and very polite discussion with her. Meanwhile my wife will have to spend the night without her medication, suffering form anxiety and insomnia. read more

If I could give this a zero I would. The pharmacy staff is incredibly rude. The other day I needed a script of antibiotic for my son and they posted a sign on the drive thru that the pharmacy was closed due to a power outage. Okay. So I understand that things happen, but at the very least give customers another option. Have someone handy who can forward much needed scripts to another Walgreens in the area. A few weeks ago...I called to refill a script and I literally waited on hold for 50 mins!!! Outrageous! They are understaffed and not well managed at all!! I have a discount card from the manufacturer AZOR 10/20. I asked my housekeeper to pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy and when she went they said it expired. I called the drug company and the card had not and I sent her back to pick it up. Either Walgreens is trying to scam customers to get higher rates or has a terrible system because this is probably the 3rd time this has happened in the past 2/3 years. read more

My favorite Walgreens in Weston. The pharmacist are excellent as is the staff. I'm greeted by first name each visit, which makes me feel like I'm in a pharmacy from the 50's. The store is organized and maintained with care. Even the store "greeters" are wonderful. Don't waste your time with making an appointment at the UHealth Clinic at the Weston Walgreens. They take people when they want and don't go by appointments. This is BS. I made an appointment online to avoid waiting and still ended up waited over an hour to be seen. If the nurse does not want to see me because I'm sick then she needs a new job. This was unacceptable to make someone wait over an hour past their appointment and take people who just signed in with no appointment. read more

The one star goes to the employee at the beauty station 10 minutes ago who rang me out. I spent $20+ on some beauty supplies so I took a 2 of those eyelash spoolies to brush my eyebrows. The lady at the register says that those are "hers" and that she needs them to do makeup. Mind you. There's another station set up with all of those DISPOSABLE makeup supplies and she had the audacity to say that they were hers like she fronted them from her own pocket. Walgreens, I spend a lot of money there considering you're across the street from my house. But the fact that your employee Gave me the attitude about it pissed me the F off. I mean I could totally understand if she was running low and said hey I'm kind of low on supplies I apologize. It's all about delivery. I mean show a little manners. Don't tell me those are yours. And you use them for makeup. No kidding you use those for makeup and I would think that the money I spend there would allow me to take a freaking disposable free spool. And if you're going to hire someone in the makeup department make sure their makeup is on point. Not some freaking painted rude lady. I left those spoolies right on the counter. Hi. I am the proud owner of a service dog, Foster. For 5 months we have been going to this walgreens to mainly use the restroom or pick up perscriptions. Yesterday, my dog did not have his service vest on but I did have his service dog card on me. I came across a rude woman who came in the restroom and said they don't allow dogs. I said he is a service dog and everyone here sees us all the time! She asked what he was service for. None of her business is what I felt like saying. I answered medical. She said he needed his vest to be allowed in, but they don't like when he drools water in the BATHROOM floor. For this, I will never step foot in that Walgreens again. Animal Hater! read more

I have so many unpleasant experiences at this Walgreens store that it's time to share a review. I go to this pharmacy when I have no other option, because the service is AWFUL. The people at the pharmacy is always rude, they seem to be understaffed. About 3 weeks ago I spent 25 mins just waiting on line! to talk to someone. They show no respect nor consideration. Nobody says anything to waiting customers. When I finally made it to the front of the line, I found out that they didn't process my prescription because they didn't have the insurance info! It took another 20 mins just to get the info into their system. Seriously? I have been there before, and this is exactly why I don't go more often. Nobody called to ask for the info, they just drop the ball as usual. I always go to either Publix or Pill Box, despite being farther from my place I make the trip because I know they have good service. Pill Box even processes your prescription right away, so I save a trip! read more
