Stellar customer service by... I think his name was Allen. I'm unsure but he was a youthful Caucasian guy who answers the phone, and is a cashier. I called in advance to confirm holiday hours and he was kind. As soon as I entered the store, he was the 1st to greet me. Very helpful during check out as I has Tasc card questions!! Now, this location is the best ever visited !! They have a wide variety of everything. Very neat store. Great signage and easy to locate everything. To be honest, I was here just to exhaust the funds on my Tasc card w pharmacy items. Everything happens for a reason. I am so impressed w the selection here that I will visit this location more often. I literally pass by 2 other Walgreens locations, and other pharmacies, but this one is my new favorite!! read more

I've been here twice on my way to work and both times it was a mess. The first time, I wanted to drop off a prescription for an antibiotic but the cashier said they didn't have it, and then wouldn't give me the prescription back ("This is yours, right?" No lady, I found it in the street.). Then I went up front with a water to buy and there was nobody there. Few minutes later, I left. The second time I went, the front door was malfunctioning; the door moved very slowly to open, like 20 seconds before I could get my big ass through it. Then, I went up to the front where myself and 3 others were checking out. There was an issue with a customer's item so the cashier called for a manager twice, then went looking for one. Never came back. This isn't a Walgreen' issue (meaning it's SOP). It's a management issue at this specific location. Go to the safeway across the street. Much nicer staff and very well run. read more

I switched to Walgreens years ago always been happy the people been nice and they had been there for a long time recently I don't know if it's overrated pharmacist but I won't be going back. The last time I was there the pharmacy was supposed to open at 9:00 it didn't open till 9:30 the text were all outside waiting to get in and the pharmacist was basically nonchalantly taking her time having conversations with people to get into the pharmacy after I get up she insisted in arguing with me about my prescription with the doctor and working and wanted me to concur with my doctor before taking my medication and coming back to pick it up later and I said no I said you already wasted a half hour of my time while I waited for you I'm not coming back and waiting in line another half hour because you can't get your s*** together. The pharmacist seem to have an attitude with what I said and said I was being very disrespectful. I said back to her I'm not late for my job because you were too busy talking to people and dragging your feet. I get people relate you should happens but every time I come here I'm waiting anywhere 20 minutes to a half an hour and there's no one. And I don't understand why and when I hear your employees complain about you screaming at them and that they don't feel like getting yelled at by you I know you're not a good person read more

Pharmacist is an authoritarian jerk. The man has no empathry for his customers (at least this one). I have chronic back pain and expected my regular allotment of meds on schedule. He decides he won't fill the prescription for 3 days because, according to him, I went through my previous month's prescription too fast. This is untrue. For years, I have taken this med faithfully, as prescribed - never exceeding the direction on the bottle. But he implies that I'm some sort of junkie, trying to scam the system. He promised to call my doctor and get her version, but he never called me back. He strikes me as a man who really doesn't like his job, and doesn't much care about his customers. Used to love this place :'( If they ONLY had my Rxs in stock EVERY MONTH, I never would've switched..... Love their drive thru Pharmacy option. They had the one medicine that Rite Aid didn't this month, so the revolving door saga continues!! Their staff are helpful, but hog tied by Corporate. Sorry, not having what I need AND not being able to even GUESS when it will be restocked is a crock!! Stop blaming others (FDA) and take care of your customers!! ( Pharmacy Rant out.) Their parking lot is a billy goat nightmare. Add an 18-wheeler making deliveries to the mix, you better just keep on driving!! Had to make an appointment to get screened for COVID. Was informed in the app that I should not leave my car to come inside to get tested (sounds smart, got it). I've been waiting in a line of 6 cars for over half an hour. Only 2 cars have gone. This is paaaaainful. I'm writing this review not only because of today's experience- this is ALL THE TIME. Their Pharmacy needs a serious overhaul!!! I've also had their Pharmacist straight lie to me about why they didn't fill a prescription (blaming it on the time between refills when, in fact, this was my first fill of the medication. Then told me they didn't have it in stock. Then refused to transfer the Rx to another pharmacy.) Choose Rite-Aid - they have a drive thru, are 24-7, and MUCH faster! read more

I went to Walgreens with my Daughter An we wanted to look around at the makeup an face products . The employees watched us ! We felt like we were doing something wrong . The employees actually pretended to work in the aisle adjusting products to see if we were stealing . It's not right to make PAYING customers feel like this ! I had an issue with my sons ins and vicki the tech and nathen the pharmacist went above and beyond to help me get his meds. They did not have to take the time to deal with my ins nor did they have to go nneds out of their way to help me get it without self pay but they did.thats customer service to me! They were extremly busy and still helped me with a smile on their face and a friendly manner and sometimes thats all we need as humans to make our day alittle better. My nine yr old got his meds and that was their num one concern and I appreciate that so very much!!!!! Im in this pharmacy about once a week. I have chronic pain and psych meds that I get on a regular basis. All of the pharmacy techs know me by my first name and have my scripts pulled and in hand before I even get to the counter. They are always very polite and I love using the app on my iPhone to refill and see when my scripts are ready. I have always used a small mom and pop pharmacy until I started having problems with them not having them or the insurance not covering them. Definitely a place I would recommend!! read more

I received exceptional service from this business today. I live in FL. I attempted to help my 92 year old father purchase a wrist blood pressure monitor. He lives quite near this store in Westminster MD. I looked online at the product and it said I could only make this purchase online and ship to the store. I called the store inquiring if my father could pick up this product thru the drive thru after it arrived there because he had difficulty walking. The very helpful young lady told me they had the product I needed at the store, it was on sale with the rewards card, and she would take it to the drive thru where he could purchase it. She followed thru and had it ready for him this afternoon when he arrived for it. What great service! Thank you! read more
