We are constantly told the prescription have to be reviewed, nothing is ever in-stock, the pharmacists little helpers are rude and just don't care. The lines are long all the time because the little helpers will stand in groups of 3 talking while ignoring any and all drive thru windows and the main counter. Nothing is in-stock, doesn't matter what drug is prescribed, they instantly don't have it. We drive to town to pick up medicines after we are notified that they are ready just to be snottily told they don't have it. The last 4 months we have had to make several trips to the store to be told "We have to check it first", the next day they lost the prescription. They have pushed our prescriptions back by 5 days now. They fill the prescriptions 3 or 4 days after the due dates leaving us with nothing for days on end. This is the absolute WORST people I have ever dealt with. read more

This Walgreens store has great customer service and Day Manager. They will help anyway they can with no questions asked. They are my go-to store when needing supplies for my bedridden son. Thank you Walgreens !! read more

Walgreens - the aisles of a grocery store - Drugstores Near Me - West Monroe, Louisiana

I have used Walgreens many times and in many different locations across the country. NEVER have I had any problems--except waiting on my turn to get up to the counter. I question how someone in San Francisco, CA knows anything about a West Monroe store. This store was under a snowstorm for OVER a week. No trucks could get in or out as they do not get snow in this part of the country. They don't have or even know what a snow plow is for. I said to one city official we need the snow plows to go out and open the roads. He looked at me and I then suggested using the road equipment and let them clear the roads. He still looked at me and said we'll just let it melt. So we did. I joked with several individuals about the fact if someone even says the word snow the entire city shuts down. 3 snowflakes puts them in a panic. I grew up in Snow country so it seemed crazy to shut down for a bit of snow. Went the food store and three of the clerks said they had never seen snow this deep before and they lived in West Monroe their entire lives. They also did not know about making ice forts and having a real snowball fight. Too bad others can't be civil about their comments. This Walgreens is one of the best. If you get nasty to them They do NOT have to tolerate you. They have the right to be respected the same as their clients. GOD sent the snow NOT Walgreens. read more

absolutely horrible!! doesn't even deserve one star!! store was closed for three days due to weather (considering it's a 24 hour pharmacy unacceptable!) waited another two day's after they finally opened and almost an hour in line only to be told they were out of my prescription! this is beyond unacceptable for a pharmacy!! hopefully no one is harmed due to their negligence read more

This is the WORST pharmacy is West Monroe. I got hung up on by a manager when I asked for her name. Walgreens is "supposed" to be a big chain pharmacy, but the store at 3304 Cypress St. West Monroe, LA IS GARBAGE! It doesn't even deserve a one star rating it deserves a negative 5! If you are a manager and I ask for your name and you hang up on me that tells me you know you're doing wrong! I will never do business there again no matter if I have to wait till the next day to get my children's medicine. I will be calling the home office and I will be sharing my experience with everyone and anyone I come in contact with. We were told our medicine would be ready by 10 PM or should I say my one and a half-year-old daughter's medicine my husband was there at the exact time and stood in line for over 30 minutes. With Walgreens being as big of a chain pharmacy as they are, if they need to hire more people then so be it! Worst experience ever! Will never go back. Most rude employees in the pharmacy I've ever experienced. Not to mention the last time I used Walgreens I was advised by a student pharmacist to refrigerate a medication for my 4 year old son which I later found out was not meant to be refrigerated. Should not be making those kind of mistakes if it was a different medication he could've killed someone. read more
