Unfortunately, due to the large amount of theft a lot of the stores have closed. It has changed so much since I grew up here. They have more boutique like stores than anything. It seems the normal store prices are elevated as well but everything is expensive these days. I genuinely hope they make a comeback. read more

So many memories here growing up. Fun fact: I was born on the day that this mall opened (many, MANY moons ago), so this place will always have a special place in my yelp list :) Your standard mall, with a couple of big stores (Belk, Sears, Dillard's, JCPenny). Mall has a double decker carousel and small waterfall. The movie theatre admission is only $5 a few days a week. Overall, a nice mall and I would go back if I was ever in the area again. read more

this was my first visit. good mall to shop at. clearly 100% better than the malls in shreveport. we found some great bargains. it is about 1.5 hours outside of shreveport. Love this mall. But today we went to H&M and the lady who was working the dressing room around 1:00pm was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. She slammed curtains, had a bad tone, and I understand only being allowed to have a limited amount of items, but you do not touch a customer without permission. I was walking to a changing room and was jumped in front of and arm barred basically. It wasn't extreme and didn't hurt, but it was rude and unprofessional. If she would've asked me to let her check my items I would have happily obliged. Never really have problems with the stores in this mall until today. read more

idk why Pecanland Mall gets such a bad rap... It's a great mall! It's huge, and you will actually go into most of the stores (unlike the ones back here in Hawaii where you can't afford to breathe the air in some of the stores)... They have a bunch of affordable places, mostly for women... several department stores... like the previous reviewer wrote, there's a movie theater, fast food places, and a huge merry go round. It's just not super busy and idk how they stay afloat there, but idc! The more expensive stores are like Express, Buckle, and surprisingly this one called Maurice... other than that, it's your everyday spots like Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, NY and Co, Body Central, Spencer's, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works... There are also even lower end spots (but I can't think of the names right now - just go to their site). There's even a little kiosk for a chair massage by some Chinese guy - $15 for 15 mins; $20 fo4 25; $30 for 40. It's a great deal. I mean, we managed to spend almost 5 hours there and only left cuz we were getting hungry and tired of shopping..! Also nearby are big stores like Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Rue 21, David's Bridal, some chain restaurants. And it's right next to Monroe Airport. Pecanland Mall is actually nice. It has alot of the stores I am used to back home and has a great selection in the food court. The main highlight of this mall experience was seeing they have Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret! Yay :) And the food court has your standard Panda Express, Chik-Fil-A, etc with a few other options (including a MOVIE THEATER thrown in among them). Pretty cool place to go shopping. read more

It's a pretty good place. I like the variety of stores and all. Not too fond of the movie theater though. My children love doing the carousel they have near the food court. Not too expensive either. I recommend parking on the side where the entrance to the food court is for easy access. read more

I was a teenager when they were building it. It used to be really good too. But it kinda went downhill when they filled in the row boat pond, cut down the trees, lost the Waldenbooks store, lost the Suncoast store, and let the gangs in too.:( read more

The mall is okay but their handicapped buttons at the front entrance are impossible for my service dog to press. It's quit an in convenience. I've seen other mall exits that have the big buttons and she can press those but not the front ones. read more

Not as great as some of the big city malls, but for a town the size of Monroe it's more than decent. There are four major department stores and a good selection of affordable stores. Although its lost a lot of retailers over the years they've brought in a lot of new places to keep it fresh such as Old Navy and Burlington Coat Factory. A new Dick's Sporting Goods is opening soon as well. There is a big food court with several fast food options and a big double-decker carousel for the kids. The 10-screen movie theater isn't as nice as Tinseltown in West Monroe but is clean and has cheaper tickets. The mall does get really crowded on weekends, especially during the holidays. The surrounding area has a good selection of restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Applebees, Longhorn, etc.) plus there are many big box stores (Target, Best Buy, Kohl's, etc.) and hotels nearby. read more

For a small town this is a really good mall. It has been recently updated and is always clean. It always has great thanksgiving sales.

Worst Department store every. Aisles always covered with trash and clothes. Not enough employees to help keep the store organized and clean. Most of the merchandise is damages or dirty. What staff they do have show poor customer service and do not know what they are doing. I seen better Burlington Coat Factories elsewhere. Do not believe in EOE very segregated. read more

I was very disappointed with the Charlotte Russe's customer service. Some associates except maybe 2 were behind the counter talking and some were sitting. The new crew they have now needs more training or they need to hire more experienced employees. If I were a secret shopper, this place would have received a horrible score. My complaint is not the first I've heard. There are others that work in the mall that say the same thing I am saying now. This Charlotte Russe needs to do better. I don't come to this store much now because of the service. read more
