This shop appears small, but when you walk inside you won't believe your eyes. Christmas decorations of all different sizes, shapes, colors and styles literally packed floor to ceiling (There were hundreds of items on the ceiling alone). When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a wonderful staff with everyone asking us if we needed something. One lady really took a particular interest in what he was doing and helped him out immensely. While he was on a guided tour of the shop I wandered around. I'm not a Christmas person at all, but was very tempted to take a lot home with me. As it was, I bought a great resin Dog with a light up headband and the price was well within line. I only wish I could get the people I work at the Home Depot where I work to learn that this kind of service will boost sales immensely.

I tried the place I knew but it was closed. Lucky for me, this place was right across the street. I won't bore you with the details of why Vicksburg is a special place to me. Just know that it is. I haven't been in a long time so stopping for coffee brought back some great memories. Anyway, back to the review. This is an incredibly cool place. The clothing is outdoor focused and very stylish. The coffee is very good and rivals most full time coffee houses. Plus it has parish in the name so this Louisiana boy is a fan.

There is a huge selection of fabric, lots of great tools and notions, and many great ideas hanging on the wall. The staff here was top notch as well. They were very friendly and helpful. We happened to be the only ones in the store and at one point I think that all three of the staff were helping us find a particular shade of red. Located just off the highway, the store is easy to get to. Go to the north side of the ramp and take the first road to the west. You go about 3/4 of a mile down the road and the store is on your left. If you are not able to make it to Vicksburg to visit the store, they also have a great internet site. I watched the two staff who were dedicated to filling these orders and they were amazingly efficient and thoughtful about how they were filling the order. I would highly encourage the use of their internet sales site.
