We were in and out in almost no time. The furniture was beautiful and reasonably priced. Nicole was knowledgeable and so incredibly helpful. They were able to deliver our furniture the same day and even helped with the small amount of assembly that was needed. We will definitely be back! read more

The store manager Pam Crawford convinced my wife and I to buy a lot of furniture from her. I wrote…read moreher a check for thousands of dollars. The check cleared my bank the next morning which I thought was real strange. Pam never called me back to give me an update about my furniture. I was the one that had to initiate the phone calls. When I did get her she would say oh your furniture is still being shipped or your furniture was delivered damaged. I had to wait three months to get some of my furniture and I wouldn't of got any of it unless I threatened legal action. When I did get the furniture some of the things had knicks in the paint etc. It has been 5 months and I still haven't got two of the things I purchased from her. I went ahead and bought them from somewhere else. I had to wait 0 days for them. When I call Pam now she never answers and when I do see her all she gives is excuses to why I've never got two of the things I bought from her. I would carry her to court but the two things she owes me isn't worth it so I will just chalk it up to a hard lesson learned. On her shop door she has the slogan and I quote, " God Loves Everyone!" Well apparently she hopes God has sympathy and love for thieves as well. Please stay away from this store and do not have any dealings with this crook! She is a Phony! She will steal your money and spend it. After that she doesn't have the funds to order your furniture. Please don't go thru what I went thru!!!! She talks a good game but just go down the road and spend what you have too at Marcus Furniture or Miskelly's in Jackson. You've been warned!!!

My tenants were verbally harrased by the delivery personnel on both occasions they came, they seriously scraped my house door casing and must have had dirty hands becuase the door is covered in black handprints, they threw a fit about getting it inside, they dented both fridge doors, I had to insist they actually clean up the water on the floor before leaving, and to top it off they offered me the mere price to deliver as compensation for all the damage. Save yourself the trouble and always go with Wells & Lahatte, I had no idea buying a fridge could be this eventful after having purchased from W&L before!

I still can't talk about Katrina without crying and maybe that's just me. I am admittedly a sappy fool, though. I wanted to visit this gallery specifically for the artist's series of portraits of people in the aftermath of Katrina. They are haunting, sobering and tear inducing. I waited till the end to look this set and good thing I did. She's brilliantly talented and I love her depictions of the south so much. But I left in tears. If you can feel a person's emotions in a photo or painting...that's powerful stuff ladies and gentlemen. Very powerful.

If you're not looking for something big there are also plenty of little items: home decor items, knick knacks, books and even a good selection of antique tools!
