I've always loved this store lived right down the road for years and enjoyed many shopping trips with my boyfriend. We are moving away now I got to enjoy one last grocery/coffee trip here and I called to ask if they had boxes they were throwing for us to use to pack up some of our stuff and when we got there they had a cart waiting for us full of boxes even offered to help us load them! Maybe it was a bad batch, but what looked to be a nice green fresh Cabbage, turned out to be more like plastic! While steaming the cabbage, it never soften as veggies normally do... It did not produce its own water while covered and temperature got hotter... I'm convinced it is not "real" but some genetically modified something... Aren't we the consumers suppose to be advised if we're not getting "real" food??? Tell us, what is it??? read more

I consider this the best grocery store in Ruston, La. Many people go to Wal-Mart for pricing but actually there is only a few cents difference and the quality of the produce is so much better here!! Also, if you are looking for a good craft beer or more variety of beer than Wal-Mart, this is your place. Also, they usually have an ample amount of cashiers available to get you in and out! My father goes here almost every morning to grab any reduced meat for quick, a newspaper and a cup of coffee. Great service! read more

Super 1 Foods is known as probably the best grocery store in town, if you can't handle Walmart. It has a larger selection and better produce for sure. The prices seem a bit higher than Walmart for most things, not all. The layout is nice and this grocery store is always clean with staff always willing to help. read more

I appreciate shopping in a clean store! This place is immaculate! Everything is nicely presented and if you need help there are many happy workers standing by. If one needs something that's not there talking to the manager can warrant positive results. Friendly staff and ample parking make this the "go-to" market! I only wish they would consider staying open 24 hours like the other in town store with groceries. Still, they open early enough to help one avoid crowds, sooo.... You may be able to tell I really like this place! read more
