Their pharmacy needs to make a line so people can stand. People just sit and how the hell am I suppose to know you in line??

The pharmacy will be closed on a regular day all day because they can't staff people here. they will tell you it will be ready one time then when you get there the pharmacy will be closed due to short staff. they will not let you know and you will be left struggling trying to find a different walgreena to help. read more

I posted a post about a year ago about Tim the pharmacist. I've managed to NEVER fill there again. I want to stress what the biggest mistake there was. He violated the HIPPA law. If I could I'd do zero stars. Not only did I have to wait a the counter for an employee to ring me up. But the lady working the front desk was rude. Only reason I even came was, I googled where to buy over the counter ear drops. Walgreens had them for 7.99 so I went there just to find they aren't and are actually 10.00. Not a big deal but the rude cashier was the cherry on top. I will go anywhere but Walgreens from now on. The cashier had me wait for her. As if she doesn't get paid to ring me up. I have always received really great service from this location but yesterday they surpassed all previous expectations. I lost a very special necklace in their parking lot and I called to see if they could look for it. I know that isn't their job and they could easily have said no, as I'm sure they have plenty of other things to do. However, Tony did look and called me back to say they found my necklace! I am so relieved and so grateful for the kindness. He really went above and beyond! I have shopped there for years and I will feel even better about shopping there now. Tim, the pharmacist at the store on 9000 S 4000 W has become extremely rude! We have been patronizing this particular store for 30 years and have always been pleased with the customer service, until about 11/2 years ago. When Tim first started there, maybe about 15 years ago, we loved him. At one point, we also noticed a change in the technicians personalities and now there are all new techs. Tim hung up on myself and my husband tonight. He told me they have the prescription I was calling about and then at one point he said, "No, we actually don't have it" and then hung up. We went in to see if there was a problem with the prescription and he told us we had been rude to him before and he did but have to help us. (We moved our prescriptions to a different store over a year ago; due to the negative change in the customer service.) He also told us that the store runs because of him and the revenue he brings in. One of the technicians then told us to leave and closed the gate. This was just after 8:00pm, the pharmacy doesn't close until 9:00pm. There was a couple waiting for a prescription and told us they hoped it opened back up, so they can get their prescription. We were so taken back by the lack of professionalism and the fact that they felt it was OK to close the gate in a customer. I'm not sure if Tim is burned out with the work/ hours, decided it isn't what he wanted, has personal problems or what, but it is really too bad he changed so much and not for the best! It is also really sad that he has taught the techs it is ok to treat customers like that. read more

Their pharmacy picked up is a joke! Just sat there for 35 minutes with only one other car there. This isn't the first time. They didn't even come to the window to help the other car for at least 10 minutes. This happens all the time! So frustrating!!! read more

I went in to pick up some cards I had printed for Same Day Service. I received an email saying they received my order and it should be ready in an hour but to watch for an email saying they are completed and ready for pickup. A few hours later I was driving by the location so I thought I'd stop in to see the progress on my 20 cards. I got up to the counter and told the employee my name and she snapped at me very rudely, threw a piece of paper on the desk and told me how they tried calling and I didn't answer. The paper was my order that they couldn't run because of a broken printer. She was so rude! The order didn't work out, machines break, I get it, but the way she treated me from the second I told her my name was uncalled for. She was mad that I didn't answer a call that I didn't even receive. I won't be going back to this location. Why is service everywhere going downhill? Just be nice. read more

Very bad experience with their pharmacist, Lee Jackson Briggs who may or may not be licensed. I had directly been affected by this pharmacist and she made it her mission to be unprofessional, rude and dangerous towards me. I am not sure why she is still employed here but everyone should be careful of her. If you see her working with your medication, check it and perhaps get it refilled by a different employee to be on the safe side. read more

Went out on the CDC web site to see who had Covid Johnson & Johnson booster! Walgreens. Go to schedule an appointment. No Johnson & Johnson. Call the pharmacy. Pharmacist was rude. Said take what we have! Question: do you know who has it, my doctor wants me to take J & J. Nope we don't have it. Correct answer: Salt Lake Health Dept. They have them all. Got my booster. No thanks to Walgreens! read more

I just had a great experience at this Walgreens. The clerk was unendingly courteous. He helped me weth a passport photo, and with questions about some personal care products. Walgreens...it was unexpectedly nice. read more

Love this Walgreens! I've been coming to the pharmacy for a few years, and I haven't had any problems. The staff seems busy all the time, but they make time to treat me like a real person when I'm there. I always refill from the app, which I think gives them more time to get my prescriptions ready than if I came in and waited for it. read more

I was given the wrong prescription that could have possibly been dangerous. I drive a commercial truck so I have to be careful with what prescriptions I take. I was prescribed a sleep medicine that only stays in my system for 2 hours which I know not to take it after 3am because I have to be up to drive my truck at 6am. The pharmacist gave me a different prescription that was generic for Ambian that stays on your system for 8 hrs. Luckily I noticed they had given me the wrong prescription before I took it and had to drive my truck the next day. I was told "oh sorry it was just a mistake" when you're filling prescriptions I don't feel there is any room for "just a mistake". read more

They have very helpful and attentive employees at this location. Managers are friendly and accommodating as well. Not as organized as other Walgreen's, but it's not bad. They sometimes allow stock on certain popular items run out here. While it's not terribly busy, it usually has a short line. read more

Definitely a good store, not a great one. One thing I do like is that the employees pay attention, are very quick to help, and even point out things like in-store coupons, discounts, and give suggestions when asked. The pharmacy staff is very helpful, but nothing above and beyond. The store is kept tidy. Also, because it's not around some of the busier streets in the area, it usually isn't crowded. It would help if they had a better selection of things, or maybe kept better stock. Also, it depends on which employees you're dealing with sometimes, and their moods. read more
