Asian Male Cashier with glasses was an asshole. I like my receipts digital. As I'm inputting my number he rushes my transaction and it doesn't accept my rewards number and then hands me a paper receipt. When I asked how come I didn't get a digital receipt and if there's something wrong my preferred method. He tells me I need to do that on my own time. Well I'm impressed. Fast friendly service. Since my accident I've had trouble getting around. I just wanted 2 Easter Peeps and walking in the store was near impossible. I ordered on line for pickup and I couldn't be more happy with the speed my order was together and the friendly face bringing my order to the car. Founded in Chicago, IL in 1901, they're the nation's second largest pharmacy store chain behind CVS. On Maui, they seem to pop up near longtime local store & pharmacy Longs Drug (now part of CVS). Their newest location in Wailuku is right across the street from a Longs Drug store and also includes an attached Starbucks, Jamba Juice & Verizon store. A drive thru pharmacy and photo department are available, the latter of which brought me here. EXPERIENCE: The spouse ordered a photo & frame for family which I had to pick up. Went in, gave the worker the name and of course a hiccup occurred. They said it was already picked up. Long story short, they had our two orders confused and eventually found what wasn't picked up yet. Kudos to the workers though, as most would throw in the towel and not even try. The project came out really nice to boot. OVERALL: Convenience at its best. I have nothing but love for their app and pharmacy services. read more

Maui Walgreens went above and beyond in every measure! Best pharmacist EVER! I had forgotten to pack my necessary prescriptions. My doctor sent it to this Walgreens from the mainland. I've never had such service outside of my non chain pharmacy back home. I'm so sad I do t have her name as she was stellar! She even ran out to the parking lot because I thanked her for my (brand name) medication while my doctor called in a generic. The Aloha spirit infused this pharmacy! read more

This review is for the Waiale Walgreens. I was pleasantly surprised after switching to Walgreens as they were a preferred provider for my new drug plan. The staff at the pharmacy are very knowledgeable of Medicare and supplement plans. They took the time to do their research to make sure there would be no out of pocket to me as specified in my plan. They also do follow up calls to see how you are doing with new prescriptions. Their service standards compare surpasses even smaller private pharmacies. I'm so glad to have made the switch read more

Our vet called and confirmed this pharmacy had tablets not capsules of a drug that needed to be broken in half otherwise it could kill our animal. Pharmacist confirmed it twice! Walgreens than filled the prescription and after a 2hr round trip drive we got home and found it to be capsules. The pharmacist even put break the capsules in half on the container lol. When we called to inquire what the heck the pharmacist is smoking we got an ear full. Having experience in the medical field the only thing I can saw is this pharmacy should lose their license before they hurt someone. BE CAREFUL!!! read more

Beautiful new wellness model location! The pharmacy staff were super polite and helpful as well as the front end cashier. They humored me decide between Hawaiian Host and Mauna Loa macadamia nut chocolates. Apparently Mehunene Mac is the best but they didn't have those here. The front register cashier was very nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She helped me with an item in electronics and suggested some items to me I didn't even think of. Ridiculous. I've had nothing but disappointment. They always take my scrip and than later tell me that my scrip isn't written to their pharmacy standards. Wth? I've had the exact same prescription for six years and you're telling me my doctor doesn't know how to write a prescription?????? I love this walgreens. Friendly staff and management. I always shop here especially when the sales come out. I coupon a lot so i jump from store to store. The cashiers - Ella, Malia and Chantell are my favorites. Always looking out when it comes to coupons. Chantell especially helps me. She knows i have children of my own and has even recommended going online to look for them on certain items I need. I love how all the associates greet you once you walk in.
