This was one of my more time consuming trips to a drugstore. I expect to be in and out pretty quick as do most customers. The cashier was slow and needed assistance in the checkout process. I will say however they did have the brand of organic body wash I wanted in stock that no where else around here carries so I do appreciate that. As for other purchases? This store allows employees who are not handicapped to park in the front door handicapped spot without a tag or sticker. The employee, when I complained, said in a surly, snarly and sullen tone: "That's mine. What's it to you?" When I called to complain I was connected to someone identified as the store manager, Kim, who promised to call me back in 2 hours but never did. I filled out a complaint form at Walgreenslistens.com and asked them to contact me but they haven't. I moved my prescriptions from there because of ineptitude and errors and delays. In all respects the store seems to be very poorly managed with no regard for customer service or satisfaction and has discourteous personnel. Avoid at all costs. read more

As with many reviews like these, you can mainly only compare to comparable comparisons. Yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds and is definitely not grammatically correct. But that is how i feel. I love local places. But for prescriptions, you have to go with convenience. And this is the closest place to us. Of all of the chain pharmacies, I like Walgreens the best typically. But the one by our old house was simply awful. Rude employees, long wait times and just shady in general. This one is very different and we have enjoyed our experiences here. The people have been very nice here and I haven't had to wait very long so far. They even worked with me to make sure my auto-refills I didn't need anymore were taken off of the list. They have the same selection as most bigger drugstores and are stocked well. They serve their purpose and do it better than my last Walgreens. A solid A-ok. read more

Jayla, an employee there is very disrespectful and rude. I also witnessed her being rude to the lady that approached her with a question after me. A couple of weeks ago I requested the pharmacist not give me a certain generic medication I cannot take . She made a note of it in the system. Next time I came back she filled a 90 DAY supply of that same medication. I pulled out of drive thru and looked in bag and realized she had filled the meds I can't take instead of the ine SHE NOTED she was supposed to use. When I pulled immediately back in drive thru and talked to her she said there was nothing she could do. Really?! So now I have 90 days of meditation I can't take. Pulled all my prescriptions the next day and went to a new pharmacy. Done. read more

Pharmacist on duty on May 20,2024 at ~5:30pm was incredibly rude and short with me when I tried to pickup my prescription. She did not listen to my query/issue and jumped to conclusions which were inevitably incorrect. I ended up not even getting my medicine. Will not be returning to this location. The female pharmacist I dealt with tonight seriously medals in one of the rudest condescending service providers I have ever experienced. I can't imagine how I would have left feeling if I didn't know my medication well and had experience with the dosing. Also sporting an excellent case of resting B face she looks completely miserable in her job. Girlfriend needs to take a vacation or reconsider her job path. This review is about the pharmacy. I wanted to get the shingles vaccine. I called the pharmacy. They said that I did not need an appointment to come in after 4 pm. I got there and they said that they could not give me the shingles vaccine, that I needed an appointment. They would not accommodate me even though they told me I did not need an appointment. They told me to call next time. I called the next week and asked if I could come in that day. The girl said that I could come in that day, that I did not need an appointment. When I got there, they told me I could not get the shingles vaccine because they were filled up with Covid vaccine appointments. The pharmacist would not accommodate me even though I told her what I was told. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who told me to come in without an appointment. I went and got the manager. When the manager talked to the pharmacist, the pharmacist told me I could get a shingles vaccine if I wanted to wait 45 minutes. My other choice was to come back the next day between 12 and 4pm. I work during that time. I tried to make an appointment on line and it would not work. The only reason I go to Walgreens is because my insurance does not cover CVS. I made an appt. for the shingles vaccine at the Walgreens in Trussville and Publix gives them as well. I don't appreciate this pharmacy giving me misinformation twice! They never answer the phone and I also don't get notifications saying my daughters meds are ready even though I'm signed up for them. They don't greet you properly nor do they use general manners such as eye contact when you arrive or acknowledgement that you're waiting. Just rude in general. read more

TERRIBLE. Every time I have been to this store in the past it was been great, but tonight the rudest pharmacist decided to make up her own personal rules preventing me from receiving my medication that my doctor prescribed to me. I received the same prescription at the same store last month with no issue but this particular pharmacist blamed her lack of knowledge of the laws regarding drugs on why I can't receive my medication. The pharmacist was rude and condescending and I will not be back to this store. Learn some compassion and professional skills. The Absolute worse!! I'm out of meds. I've tried the Walgreen's phone and ap. I'm locked out of my account. They tried and couldn't help. connected me to another department . Was told "we can't help you" but can connect me to the store. Disconnected. I tried to call ... twice. Was on hold for 20 minutes... You are the second caller. You are the first caller .... JESSICA Busby the pharmiscist is abusing her power at the location. I made a corporate complaint against her as well as to the Alabama Pharmacy Board. She intentionally has begun her retaliation by withholding my med four to five days out. Jessica has went as far as to tell the staff not to talk to me, threaten me with the police all to only discover they didn't know the generic name for a med and they thought I picked it up. After no apology I was told to come back in two hours. I had meds missing several times and made request to have it double counted and seems like all hell has broken out because of my civil request. read more

Possibly the worst Walgreens in the south. The staff is incredibly nonchalant and rude. Not to mention I have never waited less than 30 minutes in the drive through only to be told to come back. They take close to 4 or 5 hours to get a prescription ready. They consistently are out of medications and I will have to wait 2 or 3 days to get them in for standard generic medicines. I also needed a prior authorization and it took them 2 weeks to send it to my doctor. I can literally deal with anything except people consistently being rude or flippant. read more

My orders are always filled quickly and then I get a text to let me know my order is ready for pick up. I know many people are none too happy about the major pharmacies taking over the world and shutting down the mom and pop drug stores. That being said this Walgreens really feels like a hometown drug store and they really take good of you any time you are in there.
