The CVS in Trussville is a fantastic store with an amazing team. Kathryn and Jimmy truly make the difference here--they're consistently kind, professional, and genuinely helpful, and they create a welcoming atmosphere every time I visit. The store is well-run, clean, and easy to navigate, and the front-end staff always goes above and beyond to make customers feel taken care of. While the retail side of the store is excellent, I'd personally be hesitant about using the pharmacy side. The pharmacist seems very nice as well. One pharmacy tech(or assistant) in particular stands out for her poor customer service and attitude. That said, for shopping and customer service, this CVS absolutely shines, and Kathryn and Jimmy deserve their 5 stars and special recognition for making it such a wonderful place. read more

Came here for some body wash. I was greeted by a staff member upon arrival. She was pleasant! I quickly located what I needed and headed to self checkout. I was in & out with ease. Really liked the store but, after the recent events of experience with the manager. Which I a believe was uncalled for due to my order issue which was valid. And my husband experienced with a very long wait in line. I will not shopping again at this location. read more

Love the coupons and specials. The care manager of definitely worth it monthly. The service is always welcoming and helpful.

This review is solely based on the pharmacy, and specifically the drive thru. I have not been inside of the store, but customer service via pharmacy has been outstanding. My prescriptions are ready on time (or earlier), and I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes to be seen. Plus there are two drivethru lanes, so if one is occupied, you can always use the other. read more

I always look for a CVS when I'm sick. Always has the medicine I need quickly. This location is no different. I was down and out with a severe sinus infection - thankfully, it wasn't the flu - and was able to get in and out of here within 5 minutes. Staff were friendly. Wasn't a huge line. Made for a happy, albeit sick, customer. We also check their sales paper from time to time - they'll beat Wal-Mart or Target on some things, so it never hurts to check! read more

I'm currently standing in the pharmacy speaking to a very rude and unprofessional pharmacist. Some kind of way the system didn't update my care card when I did it online. I have a $4 off coupon that I wanted to use. But because the phone numbers don't match there's no way I can use the coupon. I was told by the front counter to come back to the pharmacy and have them pull-up and verify my info. I spoke to Kim today n the pharmacy that was so rude and unprofessional that I had to bite my tongue. She stated that it was only $4 off and couldn't understand the problem. I explained to her it wasn't about the $4 off and that I have over 5 prescriptions that I get filled here and I wanted to make sure all my information was correct. Ms Candice and Kathryn were the only people that seemed to be concerned about my situation. I truly thank them. Seems like this CVS has a revolving door of unprofessional pharmacists. I've been going to this location for over 6 years and this will be the 2nd time I've been so humiliated that I wrote a review. Someone needs to explain to Kim that a simple $4 off may not mean much to you but it could mean everything to someone else. I guess we came too close to closing time for Kim to care about customer service. read more

This location should have more employees on the sales floor. Walking in, I noticed there's no cashier behind the counter, but I just figure they're somewhere on the sales floor. Heading up to make my purchase. Turn out, employees were no where in sight at all. Ended up getting check out at the pharmacy by a friendly pharmacist instead of trying to find someone. When leaving, at this point, I'm still not surprised that there no employees at the front. read more

I have had continuous problems with another CVS, under-staffed, prescriptions not ready after 12-13 hours notice for a refill, people not quite ready to be working in the pharmacy (needing more training & education) waiting for what felt like FOREVER to be waited on, etc. But this particular CVS had none of these problems. :-) I was very pleasantly surprised & very happy to turn in a RX & not wait very long at all. It was very refreshing & I had my respect back for CVS! ALL my RX's are with CVS & I didn't want to change pharmacies as I have MANY RX's & they have all my records, info since 2000, if not before. I even had them there when it was still "Big B"! Wow, what a long time ago!! I'm happy that I gave CVS another try & have my respect for them restored. I'll still try the other CVS I previously mentioned as they're open 24/7 & sometimes I need that particular feature. Thank you CVS, Chalkville Mtn Rd, for helping me continue to do business w/you & knowing you have my best interests @ heart. Having all RX's @ ONE pharmacy, I truly believe, is the best way for a customer who's disabled w/lots of RX's.
