Customer service is poor. Had one print that was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11 am and when i arrived at 4:30 pm it wasn't ready. The readon given was " she hadnt had time" . Two other employees laughing and eating snacks while one person is checking out - line of customers. The lack of concern for poor service is ridiculous. read more

The only reason I give the Chalkville Road Trussville AL store a 2 as opposed to a 0 is because of one young woman who actually did her job. I won't give her name because I don't want to risk retribution to her from management. I asked the the FLOOR MANAGER to help me find a Walgreen product which was listed on the website as being in stock. I didn't get his name but he has a long gray beard. He was dismissive and unconcerned. I was ready to leave the store without spending a cent. But I asked the cashier who because she had no customers at the time came from behind the counter & found the product. So I did spend money before leaving the store. So the manager cost the company money because I won't be going to that store again. The cashier made money for the store because I bought something before leaving. I experienced unfair business practices while at Walgreens, Chalkville Road Trussville, AL. The pharmacy staff used intimidating and fear-inducing tactics that were unnecessary. The staff secretly called Trussville police as I sat in the pharmacy drive thru, lied and told them I was refusing to move; when the fact is I was never asked to move. I asked to speak with a manger and the cashier return to the window and said I had to come in in order to speak with a manager. I said I'm not coming in and I waited for the 3 prescriptions that were ready. While waiting two Trussville police officers pulled up, one in front and one behind my car, the officer came to my window and asked were I okay and I said yes. He said the staff called and said you refused to move when asked, I told him I was never asked to move. The cashier was there scanning the other medications for me. I was scared because I didn't know what was happening and why they called the police. I then called the police myself when I pulled out the drive way to speak with a sergeant, the dispatcher transferred me and the lady refused to let me speak with a sergeant, at one point she yelled at me. I asked her why was she yelling at me and treating me the way, then her tone changed and she said she wasn't yelling. I have had two panic attacks since leaving there at 1:05pm. I can't stop crying, shaking and in total disbelief how I was treated. I am definitely experiencing some emotional trauma since the visit there. read more

This Walgreens is located near Walmart so I am sure this affects their business some. I came here since I am always trying to get in and out of most places I frequent. I needed to pick up a few items so this was the ideal place to stop. It wasn't really crowded inside so I was able to grab my items and get out relatively quick. At checkout there were a few people in line ahead of me but the line moved quickly. The cashier was very nice and took time with each customer. I noticed that this location isn't as up to date as some of the other Walgreens locations in town but still really clean and well organized. I would certainly come here again mainly for the convenience and good service I received. read more

I agree with others. This is a great alternative to neighboring Walmart when you need just a few items. I'm willing to pay more for that convenience. Friendly employees (checkout and photo). I put my phone number in, and the cashier told me I actually wasn't a member of their rewards program! She took the time to get me set up (no one else at other Walgreens has ever told me my number wasn't collecting points) so kudos to her for watching out for customers. Worst Walgreens ever. Chalkville Mtn Road location is slow, rude and can't keep insulin in stock. Delayed orders, robo calls saying script is ready, wait 45 minutes in drive thru to find out another not in stock. Guess insulin isn't life saving according to Walgreens read more

These people that work in the pharmacy take their sweet time I had to wait over 3 hours for medication after I had surgery and the whole surgical process didn't even take that long. I'm in a lot of pain and they can't fill 4 prescriptions in under 3 hours just pathetic. I will never use this pharmacy ever again. read more

I absolutely love this Walgreens. The young ladies back there do the best that can.. with the situations that has been dealt to them. I have been in there at times, and customers has been just down right disrespectful to the workers, before the workers was even able to say anything (customers are not always right) I am sure they are hiring, if you think they can do there jobs better, put in a application. I surely know I can't do there job. Cut them some slack, and put yourself in there shoes. I have never had a problem at this store. read more

I have to visit this place twice or three each I try to pick up my meds this last time my meds weren't just not filled they were sent to another city and state. Priceless than I was asked which ones do you need? The ones you sent the other city and state go figure. Awful awful service. read more

I swapped my pharmacy to Walgreens and had a pretty rough experience with them. The pharmacy staff were slow; it was very obvious that one of the pharmacy team members did not want to be there and was stressed (on more than one occasion), and they were never willing to call my doctors when there was an issue, but would only tell me once I had arrived to pick up my medication. The rest of the store is wonderful and welcoming. read more

Very unfriendly staff in the pharmacy. The hours of operation says till 9pm. I carry my prescription in at 8:20pm with stomach issues only to be told it will be the next day before I could pick it up? I was instructed to go to 24hr pharmacy when they had 40 mins to fill my script. So I'm a little confused on why the hours said till 9pm. I know there is a employment shortage but this has began evolving before the pandemic started . I have used this pharmacy for over ten years and I have wanted to switch pharmacies many times but this time I think I'm following through. Thirty eight minutes waiting on a Rx that is already filled?? The customer at the front of the line Rx couldn't be found. It was in the system but the guy had turned beet red searching for it. There was a ton of Rx all over the place even on a Walmart 19.99 plastic shelf in the corner overloaded with even more orders. Another customer pulled up a chair in his place in line. The pharmacist was giving a consultation to a customer in the drive through that line extended to the front parking lot. That's why I came in!! This isn't the first, second or third time I've experienced this. I have been the person that Rx couldn't be located. I had to give a description ( it should be a medium size bottle) to help two people " feel" to find it. Tonight was the last straw. I know I'm not working there but little things like asking the customer would they mind coming inside for the consultation ( which we all was listening to in the store) to get the customers out in the drive thru or a better filing system for the orders. They need better management. And no I didn't pick up my order. Thirty eight minutes was way too long to wait on a 3 minute transaction. I love the store but have to break up with the pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is horrible!!!! They call to let you know your prescription is ready. Then when you arrive you have to sit in your car to wait 30-30 minutes for them to get your meds. If you go inside you wait 20-30 minutes just to drop off!!!!! What's the point in calling to let people know their prescription is ready if they have to wait this long upon arrival??? read more

The drive thru is sooo slow. I have been a customer for years and sitting in a drive thru 25 to 30 min is frustrating.

Rude. Unprofessional. I had my sons prescriptions sent here from his pediatrician (he's 2). I'm a registered nurse and am well versed on how prescriptions and pharmacies work; so I went by with his insurance information so as to not hold up the line when it was time to pick up. At this time I was told his prescriptions would take 15-20minutes to fill. I came back 25 minutes later. At this point I was again told they weren't ready. I asked for a time frame and the tech walked off to check. A few minutes later, another tech came to the window and said "ma'am that prescription needs to be checked off by a pharmacist. It's not ready. I can't have you blocking my window". Mind you, I had been at the window for maybe 5 minutes and a car had literally just pulled behind me. I replied "you don't have to come at me rudely. that's fine. But can you give me a time frame? My son is in the backseat vomiting and I need to get him his zofran... I was told 15-20minutes, 30 minutes ago" instead f apologizing or clarifying; She then clapped her hands and told me "I can't give you a time frame the pharmacist isn't here... you can come in though". Why would I come in with a vomiting 2 year old? I just looked at her and drove off. Immediately called and had my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. I will never use this place again. This isn't my first instance with poor customer service here... But it will definitely be my last. read more
