I find this store to be very clean since it's fairly new. Very well lit and shelves are always stocked. Only thing is they have limited employees and some of the buzzards are not working for locked items in shelf. I guess the number of thefts are up since most of these chains are locking items up. I've never written a review in my life but I feel the need to do so here. I am moving pharmacies because every single time, for the past year that I've been year, have the pharmacists been incompetent and not know how to look up when medicine is ready. I always have to come in the next day, wait an hour---even when I call my doctor directly and ask if the prescription has been sent out and they say it has, the pharmacists never fail to make a mistake. I don't know if there is the Caribbean version of pharmacy school, but I suspect all of the rejects are the ones who work here because they are insanely incapable of completing even the smallest of tasks. The pharmacy the pharmacy staff is very confused. They tell your medicine is there and then when you get there, they say it's not there.

This place is always understaffed with one cashier and you have to wait in a line that never seems to move. I always wind up leaving whatever I was going to buy and walking out. It's not worth it. read more

Store is always clean staff always polite! And they always have coupons for this or that.

Technically I'm closer to another Walgreens, but I choose to go to this one because it's well kept, nicely stocked, very clean, and the employees are courteous and helpful. Cathy in the pharmacy is the best. Always with a genuine smile and very helpful when it comes to my scripts. She has gone above and beyond, calling me back regarding my questions and also informing me of items I have previously inquired about. She is truly a real asset for this store and a delight to talk to. Lol the only issue that comes to mind is that there's a red light cam on the intersection of Jerusalem Ave. and Uniondale Ave. that's annoying, but Walgreens itself has nothing to do with that. This Walgreens location is incredibly clean & stocked with some really awesome products at really reasonable prices. I also enjoyed the fact that the cashier was a former student of mine who informed me if her current educational endeavors :) When I'm in the area, this will be my drug store stop of choice!! read more

I was told today by one of the pharmacists at Walgreens at 603 Uniondale Avenue in Uniondale that they no longer deliver to Roosevelt, only Uniondale. I asked since when, and she said we haven't delivered there for several months. Well she must not like business from Roosevelt since they apparently delivered to Roosevelt for the last two months. I hope that people from Roosevelt will take their business elsewhere if the won't deliver to an 84 year old in Roosevelt that has patronized them for over twenty years. No loss, lots of pharmacies out there that will happily take our business. read more

Why aren't they 24 hours. My baby gets sick and I have ton ride so far to get prescriptions. Ugh.

Really disappointed in this location...this is the 2nd time I order photos online from this place and they are not ready by the time they we're promised. Listen I usually am easy going and dont complain but I paid the extra to have this done in time for a project. Now the assistant manager made it right and promised a discount. Later in the day they call to tell me they don't have the leather book and offered the linen book....annoyed but OK just get it done. Now I come in today to pick up my item and they are only taking cash because their machines are down. OK fine I'll use the ATM machine in the store... walk over and great that doesn't work either. So I'm done....I'm equally close to a CVS I'll just head there from now on or Walgreens by my job. read more

Probably one of the worse Walgreens I have ever encountered. I had my prescriptions sent to this Walgreens from my doctor and went through so much trouble just to find out they were out of stock. They never called me back to let me know when it would be back in stock and when I did receive a call back, it was for the same prescription but now I had to pay over 200$ (not the original amount I was told I would pay).Customer service was slow, didn't seem like they even knew what I was talking about nor honestly cared. I live very close to this Walgreens but much rather prefer to take the drive out to the next town and go to the nearest location. Overall disappointed in the way this location is ran. read more
