Solid Walgreens! Good parking. I was able to grab a ready made gift bag and hair ties for myself easy peasy.

I shop in this store at least once a week. For the most part, the staff is friendly, I find what I need, It's a convenience thing. The only issue that I have... and it's the same issue repeatedly... is that they don't teach their young cashiers how to bag. That should be one of the first things they are taught when you put them on the register. I know this, because I'm a business owner myself. Since we're forced to use those brown paper bags, You need to teach them: the heavy stuff goes on the bottom!!! I just returned from Walgreens with a bag full of stuff. I knew I should have dumped it out on the counter and rebagged it... But there was a line behind me, and I was in a hurry. I got home, got halfway to my gate, when the handle ripped off... So I grabbed it from the bottom with both hands... But by the time I got to my steps, the heavy stuff on the top fell forward, the bag ripped completely open, and stuff started falling out. I lost my balance, tripped up my front step and fell on all fours, cutting my knee open in the process. Now I'm bleeding, my wrist hurts, my shampoo bottle is cracked open, it smashed a bag of chips, leaked everywhere, and I'm pissed, because a 5 minute lesson from good management could have prevented this!! I've been using Walgreens lately to print photos and graphics for events that I host and I've found their Westbury location to be the best thus far. Their staff is super fast and their quality is top notch. I love how they are constantly providing promo offers for up to 50% prints, which comes in handy for some amazing savings! As someone who used to work at a competing store when I was younger, I have to say that I am very impressed by both their quality and consistency. read more

I always use this Walgreens to develop my film from trips and Leslie is almost always who helps me, she ensures that film is sent out and received in a timely manner and knows how much these photos can mean and the great care they need! Customer service was very great! When i went inside of the Walgreens, I was greeted by Leslie. I felt so welcomed, she helped me find everything I needed in the vitamin aisle. She directed me to everything else that I needed, as well as ringing me out at the register. read more

Staying at a hotel just around the corner and came here for a couple over the counter items, ice and adult beverages. Despite being well over 50 and looking every bit of it, they won't let you buy alcohol without a NY ID. Apparently Walgreens isn't aware that the greater NYC area is a place where people from all over the country (and world) travel to. (I had a valid state ID from another state, but it wasn't acceptable). read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The pharmacists messed up several times with my prescription, told me one thing and then went back on their word, and were too lazy to check on my prescription. It actually cost me money and they wouldn't refund, for their mistakes. No apologies, no understanding, no refunds. Worst customer service, I will never return here and don't recommend it. read more

I LOVE WALGREENS Make-up and beauty products section. I LOVE THEIR BUYERS for this section, especially giving shout-outs to three specific local Walgreens: Uniondale Walgreens (BEST staff), North Bellmore (Product, somewhat Attentive staff), East Meadow/Levittown (cool beans - cool, cool, cool! but management and/or staff is underappreciated and overworked from the looks of it). I'm in love with Walgreens, but mostly from Uniondale! My rating (5 stars) is based on Uniondale location and staff only. read more

I had an online return that the order could not be found. The person who helped me(I wish I remembered her name) was so patient, trying all different ways, even calling the Walgreens Customer Support to try to get the return done. If I had gone to another Walgreens, they would have tried 1 or 2 things and said 'We can't do this. Sorry.' I was very impressed and will definitely use this Walgreens for any future online returns. read more

Five stars for convenience. Zero stars for customer service. Minus three stars for courtesy and professionalism. I sat at the drive up window for several minutes and didn't see anyone inside assisting customers, etc. As a matter of fact, I saw no evidence of life. So I called the pharmacy from my car and that's when someone came to the window. She was clearly just inside the pharmacy to the right of the drive up window. Not sure what was going on but she finally came to the window when I called. Staff appear to be disengaged, disinterested and downright unhappy. They never ask if you have questions about particular medications. By the way, don't expect a "thank you," either: you'll never get that courtesy. I've been using this pharmacy for a couple years and today was the final straw. For someone to be sitting inside doing who knows what, with the full knowledge that customer was waiting and chosing to ignore the customer is just not good business practice. I know this isn't the norm for most other Walgreens pharmacies so I wouldn't discourage using Walgreens in general. This one, however, is just plain horrible. read more

Open late and the people working inside are always friendly and helpful.

They stink the pharmacist are all rude, and the flu shot I received there turned my arm 3 colors and left me in pain for a week. They do anything to give a reason not to fill your prescription, including lying about dates. I guess that's why there was never anyone in line or waiting.Everyone is at CVS which I highly recommend though I have to drive slightly further, store is also sloppy and dirty and no service at Walgreens.Strange I use to live in Florida and they were great and I used them over ten years. Now I refuse to ever walk in any Walgreens.Thumbs Down!!! read more

So I bought a tabletop fountain. It did not work properly. I returned it to the store. The clerk appeared to not know how to refund to a debit card.
