She not only helped me choose the color that would look best for me but also showed me how to apply it. ( I'm not a makeup person) . Pearl even showed me a clear topcoat to make my lips shine. I was so impressed by her knowledge and skill in what she did for me that if I was rich, I'd hire her! Thank you Pearl, my photoshoot that day turned out great!

I tend not to shop their online app anymore because this location is right near me. I showed up today with my mom because I had a gift card and wanted to see if I could find a decent moisturizer here that didn't break the bank. Their prestige makeup is always very alluring, but a tad too expensive for me. Since it's the holidays, they were set up with their products that would make good gifts, front and center. I was buying something for myself, however, so I didn't really pay attention. The store is very well organized, though! Just as I started looking for the perfect moisturizer, one caught my eye almost instantly. I like water based, gel moisturizer, so the one from Neutrogena I saw was ticking all those boxes. I grabbed the box and went up to the cash registers. Though there was no one there at first (totally understandable, as the staff was out on the floor helping other customers), I didn't wait long. A store associate who was finished helping someone came up to the register and apologized for the wait, which was nice of her. We chatted about some things we ended up having in common and she was probably the nicest, most pleasant staff member I've ever met there. It was great that she didn't rush me through the checkout process like a lot of retail workers do this time of year (as a former retail grunt, I totally understand why). Anyways, I recommend this beautiful store for its selection, good coupons, and friendly staff. You should check it out if you haven't already!

I went into Lengths with a friend of mine who was suffering from a bad haircut. She had a date…read morecoming up, so wanted to get a temporary fix in the form of extensions or a topper. The store was neat and full of hope with a pretty good selection of both. We were greeted by Mary, the sole employee on the floor this particular afternoon. We told her precisely what we were looking for and she told us the extensions were a bit expensive and probably wouldn't work for what my friend wanted. My friend told her cost wasn't an issue, so Mary then told her that their selection of colors was limited and it would be tough to match her hair (my friend's hair is light brown with some natural highlights). At this point, I'm feeing like this girl absolutely doesn't care if she makes a sale today. The three of us started looking through the extensions, and within two minutes found a perfect match to my friend's hair color. My friend said she'd need two packs of the extensions, and asked if Lengths offered a service to cut them there to the length/style she prefers. (There is a salon off to the side in this store, so it seemed like a fair question.) Mary told us that no, they do not do that there, and explained that two packages of extensions that my friend was intending to "chop in half" would be very expensive. Again, she assured Mary she was willing to pay whatever the cost would be (It turned out to be less than $200). Before finalizing her decision, though, my friend wanted to try a hair topper to see if she could get the look she wanted without having to find a salon to cut it for her. Mary walked us back to where the toppers were and pointed out the ones that are made of human hair. My friend chose one from the top shelf, so Mary got it down and showed it to her. When my friend asked to try it on, Mary informed her it is $5.00 to try it on. My friend agreed to pay it and then Mary put it in her hair in front of a mirror. The cost of the topper was nearly $600, which, surprisingly, Mary never mentioned given her history of pointing out how expensive the extensions were. I happened to notice the price beneath the topper, but my friend did not see the sign. When I said something about the price, my friend decided to go with the extensions. Mary took the extensions to the register and waited for us as we walked through the store looking at the other products. She never offered to help us find anything else and stood there quietly while my friend and I talked about her hair and just random topics. Mary was not ever at one point friendly or helpful. If my friend had other choices, we'd have left and gone somewhere else. If you know exactly what you want, there's a good assortment here of extensions and toppers and wigs. They also have other hair accessories like brushes, shampoo and products. However, if you need help picking something out, this place is probably not for you.

DO NOT buy from this place. Owner won't honor customer.

I already wrote a review. I'm not sure what happened to it but I'll write another. So this store…read morehas lots of items from really low prices to more expensive items such as wigs that are $600 plus. It's over crowded though. I like the people there. Everyone is polite whenever I go there. They'll also make deals with you on pricing. I'm a natural negotiator so I'm always at least proposing a deal. . Again though it's crowded they need more space or to revamp the landscape of the store. That's my only complaint. I have a lady line coming out soon and I plan on making this store one of my distributing locations. It's all about the deals!

Alright, I admit it, I'm obsessed with this place and no (before you pull my long, dyed hair like…read moreone of my coworkers did) I don't have weave. The people who work there are super nice, they are open decently late (9 or 10pm I think most nights), the place is very clean and they have an obscene amount of security cameras for those nervous about the area (I live not too far from here but this area is a little more shady than mine - during the day I have no worries, but it's not a good idea to be walking around alone at night; come with a friend and park close). They have hair stuff SO cheap, and it is pretty much the same stuff you would buy at a department store or at the mall but at a fraction of the price. They have "knockers" (the figure 8 ponytailers with a bead on either end) for $1 a pack - there are like 8 pairs on a pack, they don't stretch out quick and they have any color you could want, even leopard print, neons and metallics! I got a load of leopard earrings here for $1 a pair, in like ten colors. They just have a HUGE selection - beads (also very good for crafting - they even have wooden ones), barrettes, regular ponytailers, hair clips, pins, all types of rollers including those popular bendy ones, etc. They also, of course, have weave, discount sneakers, belts, etc, but I come for the accessories. They also sell a pretty decent generic brand of lipgloss and nailpolish that is very cheap, doesn't wreak like toxic waste and doesn't make me break out. I usually try to buy stuff either used or made in the US (or from another country with good labor laws) but frankly it's pretty hard to even find this kind of hair stuff not made overseas now that 99% of plastic stuff is made in Asia, so why pay more for it elsewhere?

A lady was really helpful at helping me find the right foundation (the full size choice options were pretty limited, so I was choosing from Clinique foundations which I haven't used in years). She tested some different ones on me until we found the perfect one. Next, I had $25 off a service for reaching diamond. Yes, they have a salon in the back. I've never used their salon but I was not going to let that discount go to waste. So I went in to color my roots (regrowth) and trim my bangs. You can make an appointment online and the cool thing is they are open Sundays and Mondays unlike most salons. I made an appointment with Candace (Candi). Candi was super welcoming and friendly. It was as if I had been her client all along. She matched my hair color PERFECTLY to what my usual hairdresser does. She did a pretty good job on my bangs too which are kind of new and I am verrrryyyyy particular about! Oh, I want to mention my hair is about half white already so it is not the easiest to color at all (I gave up doing it on my own). Despite being nervous about going somewhere different, I enjoyed my visit here with Candi! We had a great time chatting openly about everything and anything! She ended my visit with her Ulta Beauty card and hours she works on it if I want to come back to her. There was no pressure or assumption, just an open invitation. Thank you, Candi!

This store appears to have enough staff, but they all spend so long chatting with customers at the till that there's always a LONG line. When I finally got to the front of the line to pay today, I said to the cashier, Paying for merchandise shouldn't take this long, to which she replied, Well, that's not my fault. So in addition to having no sense of urgency, the staff also has no sense of accountability. An excellent store to avoid.
