I happen to work overnights, and ever since the Covid Era this pharmacy has had limited hours and staff. I used to be able to pick up my prescriptions before or after work - but not anymore. Now, they're closed when I wake up for work and they don't open until three hours after I get out of work. Because I am an adult with a life and other obligations: it is difficult for me to get to Walgreens to pick up my prescription at the very moment it is ready. I recently went into the pharmacy to pick up a script that the app said was ready and - they had cancelled it because I 'did not pick it up in time.' This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I promise I am not lazy, it is just impossible for me to get there the same day. If I have to wait a couple of days - screw me, I guess, because then the prescription has been cancelled and I have to wait 45+ minutes in the store for them to fill it again. On my most-recent trip, the cashier was...and I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't get her name...a hood-rat looking young woman. She had a bad dye job, too-dark makeup, and a nasty attitude. I'd ask her a question ('How long after a prescription is ready do you cancel if it it isn't picked up?') and she'd respond with rolled eyes and an unrelated question ('Did you wanna wait for it or nah?') She mumbled a lot, too: not just to herself but also while speaking to me. She was barely audible, except when I said: 'No, don't bother filling it, I'm not waiting,' and I turned to walk away. Then is when she SCREAMED: 'Well that was rude!!!' Oh, I was rude? For expecting to pick up my prescription that the app said was ready & waiting to be picked up? Alright, then. I filed a complaint about her on the Walgreens site. I moved my prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy is a joke. The app is annoying. You can either enable or disable notifications. If you don't enable notifications then you aren't notified when your prescriptions are ready. And a lot of times, you'll get a 'Your prescription is processing' notification, then a 'Your prescription is ready' notification immediately followed by a 'Your prescription is delayed' notification - and then no further notifications, so you have no idea whether your prescription is ready or or not unless you call the pharmacy. I've called the pharmacy - the typical wait time to speak to a live human (not even a pharmacist - just a cashier) is one hour. And If you do enable notifications then you will be notified when your prescriptions are ready BUT you'll also get notifications for when sunscreen is on sale, or what Memorial Day groceries deals are happening, and MORE notifications for every other item that is on sale.

They must have a commission structure. Then I found this store. It's so much more chill here. I get told about a sale once, no aggressive upselling, and the staff actually remembers you. I get same things every time I go: detergent in the same scents, bar soap, and body wash for men, the same three candles, and a specific scent of air freshener. When they made the air freshener into a candle the sales lady was genuinely excited to show me because she remembered I asked. Then for the first time ever I asked her if there is anything else she thinks I would like. She remembered what I got every single time and went straight to the bar soap and said "I know you like freshwater and I think you would like ocean. Also the graphite soap is less sweet than the noir and you don't seem to like sweet. Every single suggestion this lady made was based off of actual preferences and not just a desire to make sales. She was suggesting things instead of what I was getting and not in addition to. I ended up getting to the resister and hopping out of line really quick and grabbed my usuals as well because I just wanted to make a bigger purchase because of her. I've never had a sales experience like that in my life. Like... I called corporate to tell them how much she got me to buy and that her sales process is incredible. It's only this bath and body works though. Anywhere else and they are all over you basically trying to put things on your basket forcibly.

Jennifer, who I assume was the manager helped to call the number along side her coworkers (as she also had to deal with a police report) to get my reward. Whenever I come in, the staff are super pleasant, super helpful and eager to please. I find the store to be well organized and usually everything is put away and looks good. It does seem that they are slightly short staffed at times because there are times when there are boxes in the aisles and haven't yet been put away. They also seemed to have given up the parking lot, and now allow the parking lot to be used by many people. It's very generous of them and they don't have to do that. It also does make it slightly more difficult when you're actually shopping there to get a parking spot. That's an unfortunate side effect of the neighbors not being respectful of who the parking is being provided for.

I like coming to this Walgreens for the candy selection for holidays. They always have such a huge variety of bags of candy as well as single chocolates and things that you can pick out for stocking stuffers for Christmas and for Easter baskets on Easter. That's about the only reason why I come to this Walgreens that was for Candy. The employees are pretty nice ,a couple not so nice, but that's the way it is with every place pretty much. Their prices seem to have gone up since the last time I was here. Today though I had brought my mother in to do some shopping for Christmas in which she just happened to be buying all boxes of candy today so obviously it's good for candy for her too. I didn't look around it much else so I can't give a fresh opinion on anything else right now.

After looking at my X-rays, he informed me that I needed 3 fillings done - strange considering my history of good oral hygiene, but ok. After doing those three fillings, I also saw Dr Danziger for recurring issue that I had - food getting stuck between two different molars. Dr Danziger suggested an additional filling to "close the gap" that would stop food from coming in. I should not have had my healthy tooth drilled and replaced with a filling, but I agreed because he told me that the problem would persist and "food would keep getting stuck in there and you'll end up with an infection" unless it was done. Thinking it was the best option, I went ahead with the filling. It took the doctor two tries to do the filling because it was done improperly the first time. He kept trying to floss in between the tooth to test the gap and the floss was breaking, because the filling was too tight. I did not feel comfortable halfway through the procedure and felt like something was wrong but had to sit through it as he tried a second time. Fast forward 6 months and more food is getting stuck in that gap than before the filling! Note that the tooth was perfectly healthy prior to this procedure. I went in a few weeks after the filling because of some discomfort and asked several questions about how the procedure was performed. I felt that Dr Danziger got offended because at the end of that visit he said something along the lines of not questioning him "because I'm the one with the dental degree." I do not think that his condescending, dismissive, and frankly arrogant tone was an appropriate response to a patient with a genuine question and concern about the procedure that was done. After this encounter, I immediately switched dentists to an office where I feel like a patient, and not a customer. Now I am stuck with a silver filling on a healthy tooth, that will have to be replaced eventually, and a lifetime of expenses that go along with that. I gained no benefit from what seemed to me an unnecessary filling, apart from pain, disappointment, and additional and unfortunately permanent expenses now. The tooth was not damaged or decayed, and the issue that I was supposedly treated for seems to have, at minimum, not been resolved. This leaves me wondering what the purpose of that procedure was, and of course, regretting it. Think very carefully before agreeing to any procedures!
