What I like about the Transit Hill Pharmacy is that after the staff knows you for awhile and you call in your prescriptions, they are immediate in face/name recognition when you pick them up. You can be proactive by signing a form to get all your medicines if they fall at the same time at once. Much like Walgreens, CVS, and Rite-Aid, Transit Hill offers cards, lottery tickets, candy, games, drinks, household items, gift cards, and other collectibles for different occasions. If you are running late filling your medicine, you get a reminder call if you have voicemail and in a special touch a taped birthday greeting each year. Vaccinations are done by appointment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Negatives: is that if you use a credit card, a surcharge will be paid by the consumer no longer by the business so better to pay cash/debit for purchases that qualify. Parking lot a bit rough and not a lot of spaces. One time I needed a specific medicine but their distributor did not carry it so I had to make Rite Aid my secondary pharmacy.
It has been my primary pharmacy for over 18 years so I am qualified for this review. read more
