Whenever I come in, the staff are super pleasant, super helpful and eager to please. I find the store to be well organized and usually everything is put away and looks good. It does seem that they are slightly short staffed at times because there are times when there are boxes in the aisles and haven't yet been put away. They also seemed to have given up the parking lot, and now allow the parking lot to be used by many people. It's very generous of them and they don't have to do that. It also does make it slightly more difficult when you're actually shopping there to get a parking spot. That's an unfortunate side effect of the neighbors not being respectful of who the parking is being provided for.

I like coming to this Walgreens for the candy selection for holidays. They always have such a huge variety of bags of candy as well as single chocolates and things that you can pick out for stocking stuffers for Christmas and for Easter baskets on Easter. That's about the only reason why I come to this Walgreens that was for Candy. The employees are pretty nice ,a couple not so nice, but that's the way it is with every place pretty much. Their prices seem to have gone up since the last time I was here. Today though I had brought my mother in to do some shopping for Christmas in which she just happened to be buying all boxes of candy today so obviously it's good for candy for her too. I didn't look around it much else so I can't give a fresh opinion on anything else right now.

Shelves were old, refrigerated coolers had this weird smell to it, and the building itself just seemed depressed. If that makes any sense. The pharmacy has always ended up having an issue with the way a family member's scripts are written. They're prescribed different scripts for the same med due to billing, and they always have to call the Dr, because they don't believe what they're being told by my family. And that's why I'm giving this location 4 stars. I could understand the first, second, even third time. But this happens every time they renew their script. I keep telling the Pharm tech to just put a note in the system, but no one listens to me. (This is the part where I dramatically throw my hands up in the air and say, But what do I know!) The parking lot could also use a major refresher. Also. The one Brinks guy that comes to this location is ca-yu-who-hute. He alone keeps me coming back to this location! Wink. Staff did not know and called on his intercom. The answer was yes and he sent me to the aisle. I found a few different kits that would be successful. I bought one and was on my way. Parking lot outside. The kit worked out fine. Ten needles are already threaded with various colors.

One of the BEST features of refilling prescriptions at Walgreens is their app. Instead of calling in, stopping in or speaking to a pharmacist, you can simply scan the barcode on your prescription bottle, and the app will bring up your prescription information and send that information over to Walgreens. Also, you'll have the option to select your pick-up dates and times that is most convenient for you. This week I attempted to refill a prescription for my mother, but could not do so because we needed a doctor's authorization for the prescription. For some reason, the primary doctor's office is closed for a whole week, which now causes a big problem as my mom is completely out of her medication. After speaking with one of the pharmacist at Walgreens and explaining the problem, the pharmacist at Walgreens offer to give me an "emergency supply" of my mom's prescription to last her until the doctor's office re-opens in a few days. Needless to say, I'm very impressed and very happy that Walgreens went above and beyond their normal everyday service.

Stopped in here because I wanted to brush my hair and ended up buying a hairbrush when I really only wanted to borrow one. Came and took the pictures after my hair was done just down the road at Fawn And Fox. LOL. Not my favourite Rite Aid by any stretch of the imagination. I felt suspected or something when I was trying to brush my hair for free so that's why I ended up buying.
