This drugstore is getting a lot of negative press these days. I don't use them as my pharmacy, but…read moreI do stop in here every so often for something that I need. Whenever I come in, the staff are super pleasant, super helpful and eager to please. I find the store to be well organized and usually everything is put away and looks good. It does seem that they are slightly short staffed at times because there are times when there are boxes in the aisles and haven't yet been put away. They also seemed to have given up the parking lot, and now allow the parking lot to be used by many people. It's very generous of them and they don't have to do that. It also does make it slightly more difficult when you're actually shopping there to get a parking spot. That's an unfortunate side effect of the neighbors not being respectful of who the parking is being provided for.

I've been in this Walgreens many many many many many times and I was sure I wrote a review for it,…read morebut according to this I didn't. I like coming to this Walgreens for the candy selection for holidays. They always have such a huge variety of bags of candy as well as single chocolates and things that you can pick out for stocking stuffers for Christmas and for Easter baskets on Easter. That's about the only reason why I come to this Walgreens that was for Candy. The employees are pretty nice ,a couple not so nice, but that's the way it is with every place pretty much. Their prices seem to have gone up since the last time I was here. Today though I had brought my mother in to do some shopping for Christmas in which she just happened to be buying all boxes of candy today so obviously it's good for candy for her too. I didn't look around it much else so I can't give a fresh opinion on anything else right now.

If you have only been in this location post-reno, you won't be able to fully appreciate it. This…read morelocation was an incredible hot mess before the reno. The floors were disgusting. Shelves were old, refrigerated coolers had this weird smell to it, and the building itself just seemed depressed. If that makes any sense. The pharmacy has always ended up having an issue with the way a family member's scripts are written. They're prescribed different scripts for the same med due to billing, and they always have to call the Dr, because they don't believe what they're being told by my family. And that's why I'm giving this location 4 stars. I could understand the first, second, even third time. But this happens every time they renew their script. I keep telling the Pharm tech to just put a note in the system, but no one listens to me. (This is the part where I dramatically throw my hands up in the air and say, But what do I know!) The parking lot could also use a major refresher. Also. The one Brinks guy that comes to this location is ca-yu-who-hute. He alone keeps me coming back to this location! Wink. Just in case the Brinks guy stumbles onto this review.

This review is for the Pharmacy specifically, and for the Walgreens app…read more This pharmacy used to be open 24/7, which was a dream for anyone who works odd hours. I happen to work overnights, and ever since the Covid Era this pharmacy has had limited hours and staff. I used to be able to pick up my prescriptions before or after work - but not anymore. Now, they're closed when I wake up for work and they don't open until three hours after I get out of work. Because I am an adult with a life and other obligations: it is difficult for me to get to Walgreens to pick up my prescription at the very moment it is ready. I recently went into the pharmacy to pick up a script that the app said was ready and - they had cancelled it because I 'did not pick it up in time.' This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I promise I am not lazy, it is just impossible for me to get there the same day. If I have to wait a couple of days - screw me, I guess, because then the prescription has been cancelled and I have to wait 45+ minutes in the store for them to fill it again. On my most-recent trip, the cashier was...and I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't get her name...a hood-rat looking young woman. She had a bad dye job, too-dark makeup, and a nasty attitude. I'd ask her a question ('How long after a prescription is ready do you cancel if it it isn't picked up?') and she'd respond with rolled eyes and an unrelated question ('Did you wanna wait for it or nah?') She mumbled a lot, too: not just to herself but also while speaking to me. She was barely audible, except when I said: 'No, don't bother filling it, I'm not waiting,' and I turned to walk away. Then is when she SCREAMED: 'Well that was rude!!!' Oh, I was rude? For expecting to pick up my prescription that the app said was ready & waiting to be picked up? Alright, then. I filed a complaint about her on the Walgreens site. I moved my prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy is a joke. The app is annoying. You can either enable or disable notifications. If you don't enable notifications then you aren't notified when your prescriptions are ready. And a lot of times, you'll get a 'Your prescription is processing' notification, then a 'Your prescription is ready' notification immediately followed by a 'Your prescription is delayed' notification - and then no further notifications, so you have no idea whether your prescription is ready or or not unless you call the pharmacy. I've called the pharmacy - the typical wait time to speak to a live human (not even a pharmacist - just a cashier) is one hour. And If you do enable notifications then you will be notified when your prescriptions are ready BUT you'll also get notifications for when sunscreen is on sale, or what Memorial Day groceries deals are happening, and MORE notifications for every other item that is on sale.
