Today the lady at the counter was so extraordinarily rude that I left [something that I never do]. I asked if they offered money orders, and she snarled at me and told me to wait until she was done with the other customer. However, there was no other customer in line... The other time I went, a girl and a guy stood there talking for about five minutes before I was even acknowledged. I was polite both times, and I understand that people have bad days, but.. yikes. I don't want to give Tops less than a "2" because I haven't experienced the rest of the store, but I do know that I'll never go back there.

Do I look part Iranian to you? ;) This store is north of UB, next to Burrito Bay (pretty good Chipotle-ish place), on Millersport. Was once asked at a quiz, what is Millers' Sport? It's Hockey of course! Living in Buffalo, I know that. It's a perfectly fine store, with plenty of everything. It has the good waters, and usually has lots of them. I was able to buy tons of waters here more than a few times. It's in a great location and is fairly clean. In and out access isn't great but that's a minor issue. It's right on Millersport and is further north than any of the other Amherst Dol Gens and so is conveniently located for me, especially if I'm coming from the 990 or visiting Yo Betty or Marco's on Maple or something. Speaking of Marco's on Maple, get the Sinatra!! Wow! Only available at Marco's on Maple, not any of the other locations. Chain info: I come to Dol Gen every Saturday to get 5 dollars off 25 (or sometimes off 30), which allows me to stock up on water from Tennessee (which tastes much better than tap water or any other brand of water, to me), and to stock up on tons of cat food for my kids, too. However, some stores (such as this one) sell the wrong kind of water (from Pennsylvania instead), which tastes awful. I go to different Dollar Generals just to mix it up, and so I can put more of them on the Yelp review map, and because it's always useful to know which ones have the good waters vs the bad. And if this moved to Florida, it would be Ocala General. Except that it probably already is in Ocala, so... yeah.

I've never used their salon but I was not going to let that discount go to waste. So I went in to color my roots (regrowth) and trim my bangs. You can make an appointment online and the cool thing is they are open Sundays and Mondays unlike most salons. I made an appointment with Candace (Candi). Candi was super welcoming and friendly. It was as if I had been her client all along. She matched my hair color PERFECTLY to what my usual hairdresser does. She did a pretty good job on my bangs too which are kind of new and I am verrrryyyyy particular about! Oh, I want to mention my hair is about half white already so it is not the easiest to color at all (I gave up doing it on my own). Despite being nervous about going somewhere different, I enjoyed my visit here with Candi! We had a great time chatting openly about everything and anything!
