I'm sure store clerks are tired of people asking for hard-to-find items, but the young man working here on a Saturday afternoon was so pleasant and helpful!! But I won't come here for my follow-up test, or any other reason, due to the pharmacist's insensitivity and lack of customer service skills. After waiting about 10 minutes (admittedly, not an unreasonable amount of time), he called my name and walked behind the curtain. As I took the seat he asked me some basic rote questions, like "is this your first test?" Then, without further explanation, he rigorously scrubbed my arm with an alcohol pad in an impersonal way that was almost painful. You know it's the alcohol on the pad that kills the germs, right? Not the rigor with which you try to take off a layer of my skin? I asked about the potential for side effects of this particular vaccine and he said that there is no info about the percentage of people who experience side effects (I looked it up; he was wrong -- nationally it's one in ten people), and that "the second test has more side effects than the first test." Way to reassure me. Significantly, here's what he didn't do: 1) introduce himself; 2) explain what he was about to do; 3) answer my questions sympathetically and accurately, 4) ask me how I was doing and if I had any questions 5) let me know we were finished and let me know where I can go if I have any questions or reactions. I understand that he's a pharmacist, not a nurse, doctor, or phlebotomist, but he needs to understand that you still need a modicum of bedside manner when you give someone a shot. To add insult to injury, the injection itself was too, too painful, in a way that I believe isn't characteristic of the shingles test. It hurt when he broke the skin and it stung all the way through the prolonged pushing of the plunger. When I told him afterwards that it stung he dismissed it, letting me know that they normally do that. It's very possible that the pain I experienced was as much due to his perfunctory assembly-line approach as to the vaccine itself. Well, I won't be seeing him again. Ironically, I found the cashier who checked me out afterwards to be friendly and personable, and we had a relaxed chat on my way out. Which was pleasant, considering the brusque customer service technique (or lack of technique) of the pharmacist.

I don't buy my food from Walmart but I do order other household items. The last two times that I have ordered my large packs of Bounty paper towels they were not delivered but marked as delivered. The picture the driver took of my porch both times clearly showing the paper towels were not included in the delivery. I did get a refund for the paper towels, thankfully. Another time that a driver brought my order but did not leave the large pack of Bounty paper towels. The picture again showing the paper towels not on my porch with the rest of the items. I called and reported it. A short time later it was delivered to my porch with a note attached saying "Sorry. I was wrong." Today my order was delivered without the large pack of Cottenelle toilet paper. I had it refunded through the app. Of course, each time I have to wait up to a week before I get the credit - while the driver has my items. I do not believe anymore that this is an accident. Not after this many times. I can only assume it is theft. And it's a huge inconvenience. Because now I will not ever use Walmart delivery again. Unfortunately - when you shop and mark items for shipping it will many, many times then send it delivery from store instead. Because of that I can no longer shop from Walmart.

Complaint: racist remarks…read more Overheard one of the two cashiers after having an argument over a coupon with a man say after he left "it's just these foreign men have no respect for American woman and imagine how they treat their own women" "they are just always so rude". This is blatantly stereotyping and a micro aggression not to mention plenty of people of all backgrounds get upset over coupon rules and what is and isn't a coupon. It is just upsetting to stereotype when lots of people have done this. I hope this store learns to stop saying such things behind people's backs.
