I have not been inside this store in a while because it's just awful, including most of the employees. But this has to do with the delivery from the store. I don't buy my food from Walmart but I do order other household items. The last two times that I have ordered my large packs of Bounty paper towels they were not delivered but marked as delivered. The picture the driver took of my porch both times clearly showing the paper towels were not included in the delivery. I did get a refund for the paper towels, thankfully. Another time that a driver brought my order but did not leave the large pack of Bounty paper towels. The picture again showing the paper towels not on my porch with the rest of the items. I called and reported it. A short time later it was delivered to my porch with a note attached saying "Sorry. I was wrong." Today my order was delivered without the large pack of Cottenelle toilet paper. I had it refunded through the app. Of course, each time I have to wait up to a week before I get the credit - while the driver has my items. I do not believe anymore that this is an accident. Not after this many times. I can only assume it is theft. And it's a huge inconvenience. Because now I will not ever use Walmart delivery again. Unfortunately - when you shop and mark items for shipping it will many, many times then send it delivery from store instead. Because of that I can no longer shop from Walmart. read more

Where do I even begin? First, the parking lot hasn't been cleaned in what looked like weeks. I literally had to serpentine around trash and debris in the lot...fast food bags, plastic cups, dirty diapers, you name it, I saw it. Second, all of their carts need front-end alignments because they all pull one direction or another. Today was the first time I had been in since their "remodel" was completed. The only thing different is the clothing department. I appreciate the effort of trying to make it look upscale, but it also looks like you upscaled the prices too. I am floored at some of the prices I saw. Several different styles of cheap-looking, ankle boots they have the audacity to ask almost $30.00 for. You can get far better quality shoes at tj maxx for that amount. There are no cashiers. Not a one. You have to use the U-scan. Poor lady had a cart filled to the brim with grocery items and looked all around hoping to see an open register. Then I heard her say to another customer "I really have to scan all of this myself?" I don't know what happened to this location, but it is not looking good. I'd rather drive up to the Mason Walmart. They have the best customer service and selection of products than any other Walmart in the city...and I can actually walk from my car to the front entrance without rolling my ankle stepping on trash. read more

I had a decent experience at this Walmart. The parking lot was under construction when I went so that was a little challenging. But the layout of the store was easy to navigate. They have pretty much everything your average Walmart has. The bathrooms were closed when I went so I can't really comment on those. But the staff was nice. Just make sure you keep you receipt, they check every receipt even if it is not large items. read more

I usually end up here when I am running out of time and I need something quick it's close to my home or I'm very tired. I'm usually disappointed every time I come. The place is dirty and usually the stock is piled high on the floor and in aisles. Today I went through the checkout line and asked the girl if I could use Apple Pay. She said she would ask the man at the counter. She came back and said no I could not use it there. I cannot believe that the largest retailer in the world does not take Apple Pay! I forgot my wallet at home I needed to get a couple of things for my classroom. I guess I'll go to target where I can use my Apple Pay. Target is clean and have prices that are competitive to Walmart in fact, I often find things cheaper than at Walmart. I gave all of my items to the cashier and told him if I couldn't use Apple Pay I wasn't buying them. I did not have any other way to pay. So I wasted 15 minutes getting something and then I wasn't able to pay for it and now I have to go to a different store that accepts Apple Pay! I guess it looks like I will be shopping at target from now on. I'm sure Walmart doesn't care As they do not care much about their workers. They won't let them form a union and they pay them less than other jobs in retail. Please do not go there if you need something quickly, as things are messed up on the shelves and not in the right place. read more

I want to report one of the managers at Walmart named Tosha. She was on duty at six she was cussing out one of the employees she was calling her all out her name and I just walked by and I looked. I just looked and I said to myself, if that was me, I think I would've beat her ass up in that store the way she was talking to that employee, she does not know how to be a manager you do not talk to your employees that way, and I really don't know what else to say. I just kept on walking through the store and came across her again and she was cussing out another employee you really need to get rid of her if she's going to talk to your employees that way they're gonna all quit. She needs to have some kind of training or something or take her back and make her learn some people skills because if she keeps talking that way to the employees they're gonna whoop her ass. read more

Came in to purchase a few items, and it ended up being an hour trip. We waiting in line at a register for about 5-10 minutes to check out. When we got to the register the person didn't know how to ring out a tax exempt customer. So we were sent to customer service. Boy was that a nightmare. At customer service, there were 5 people standing around and not helping anyone. When it was our turn, the person didn't know how to do tax exempt either. So we had to wait for a manager. The first manager didn't know how to do it, so she magically had something urgent to do. The next manager came to do it, then had multiple other people she had to help after starting our checkout. Thirty minutes later at customer service we were checked out. Do yourself a favor, avoid this location. It's a mess. read more

No scan lines for greater than 20 items. I wanted to use the scanner, but I was told I couldn't because it was 20 items or less. There was a sign hanging from the ceiling. But not at eye level so I didn't see it. I had to go to the one checkout lane opened and waited 30 minutes to check out. I have never liked this store, but my mom does so I went there. After this visit I told my mom I'm never going to this Walmart again!!! read more

Let me start by saying what a beautiful entrance into where Walmart is. They had a little pond, a fountain and a little bridge in the garden area. Set our mood driving in as we have never seen a Walmart with such a beautiful approach The parking lot is huge. Wasn't busy and the store is really large. I went there recently and was looking for pumpkin carving tools because online it said there was three left. I asked these two older ladies that worked there if there was more. They immediately said no without even checking. Not to mention they were just standing there in the seasonal section just talking to each other and not doing anything talking about how the store was messy. This store is just horrendous. I've been there three or four times, and today was the last time I'll ever step foot in there. Disorganized, empty shelves and racks, employees look like zombies. (I saw one employee today standing in the cheese/lunchmeat isle doing nothing other than staring into the abyss for well over five minutes). The entire store is a complete mess, and there were very few customers in the store on a Tuesday at 10am, so being busy is not the issue. It's just mismanaged. Every time I go to Walmart, I remember why I don't like going to Walmart. The Evendale Walmart is your typical Walmart supercenter. There's nothing special about it compared to any of the others, but almost everything about it is just so bad. The ONLY redeeming quality is that they really do have a wide selection of different things, and some items I find at Walmart I have trouble finding in other stores. But is it worth the hassle? Not really. It seems like the employees are trained to be as surly and unhelpful as possible ( I assure you this isn't the case, however, because I asked. They said no.). They never have any checklanes open besides the UScan stations, and God forbid you have a problem scanning or a price check. The attendant will give you the what-for. I try to keep my Walmart shopping to a minimum. Like a handful of times a year. read more

I rarely shop at Walmart, and this is one of the two closest two my house. Sometimes, when I go there, I am reminded why I rarely go to Walmart. There are usually not enough checkout lanes open. One time, I was waiting in a lengthy, slow line in one of three open lanes, in the peak of the evening, when the store is capable of opening about 20. And one time, while checking out, the checkout lady was acting pissy and swearing while scanning my order. After that experience, the Kroger I would drive past, seemed like heaven at this point. Another time, I needed to return a universal remote because it simply wouldn't work with my TV. It was in the later hours, and the main customer service desk was closed, so I was given the runaround between the main checkout that was open, the electronics dept, and whoever the heck was managing the store. Eventually I got my refund, and bought a better, useful remote from Target. Yes, Walmart has low prices and good selection on things, but what it lacks is quality and service. And quite frankly, Kroger, Meijer, and Target's prices aren't much different, and those stores' service and atmosphere are just plain better. This is sadly one of my stores of "last choice." read more

I went back in this store yesterday..after not being in there for 3 weeks. This place was wrecked. Hard. They had barely stocked anything since I had last popped in. Once again..yogurt passed its shelf life. Echh!! Some of the cereal boxes looked like they had been dropped kicked. They were out of so many products. Ridiculous. My favourite part..a couple had a jar of orange marmalade slide through the child leg hole of the cart..and bust on the ground. I watched the guy get an employee..yet..after it was pointed out..it took them over 20 minutes to get the broken glass picked up. This review is specifically for the Tire and Lube Express Department. The staff here was able to answer my questions and help me replace a battery on my car rather quickly. I appreciated that they were able to keep the old battery so that I didn't have to figure out a way to get rid of it, although I'm sure that many of the places that replace your battery do this. In the past I had just changed out my own battery (and figure out what to do with the old one), but I won't do that anymore- thanks to the good service I received here, combined with the everyday low prices of Walmart. TIPS: - First come, first served - so try to go in an off peak time. Usually weekdays, mid morning? The nice thing is that if you have shopping to do, you can do that while waiting. - While waiting I noticed that the tire prices seemed pretty good....but also ask about temporary clearance prices. It seems like there were a fair number of limited quantity tires that were on sale at much lower than the list cost. - The Oil Change here seemed a little pricey compared to other places, and it seemed like it was taking other customers 30 minutes+ to get their oil changed. read more

This store is a dump, barely anyone working here, everything about the experience is inconvenient. Self checkouts get shut down regularly, there's never more than 2 registers open, and almost all of the people you see in here are trashy and rude for no reason. The store is nasty compared to pretty much every other Walmart in Cincinnati. All of this stuff is just progressively getting worse over the years, If it were my store, I would've cut my losses and shut the place down by now. read more

Disclaimer I only shop at Wal Mart because it is cheap especially for toiletries. I do not like how Wal Mart treats it's employees. If management treats their employees like trash, the employees in turn will be grumpy and take it out on the customers. Wal Mart does not do customer service I get it but at least treat people with some human decency. I had ordered 2 items on-line to be picked up at this store location. Based on the reviews, I wasn't looking forward to picking up my items and I certainly wasn't planning on shopping there. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the store to be clean and spacious. The shelves were stocked and there were employees all thru-out the store. Rather than make my next shopping stop at the Kroger, I decided to stay and do my shopping at the Walmart Super Center. Even the Christmas aisle which is usually a hot mess by January 8th, was orderly and neat. My order pick-up was efficient as was my check-out...there were plenty of lines and people were moving along. Positive experience...I'll go back should I need household grocery items. read more

I used to travel for my job and I've been to a lot of walmarts to pick up odds and ends. This walmart sets the standard for poor customer service in every way. It is disorganized and pretty dirty. Used to go here due to proximity to my house, but after waiting 20 minutes in line with a cart full of groceries and have the cashier flip off her light with an attitude and shout that she was going to "mf'n" break, and we could go to self checkout (which was also massively backed up). I left the full cart of groceries where they sat in the checkout line and went to krogers. Now if I have to go to walmart I'll drive the extra 15 minutes to go to another one. ANY OTHER ONE. Legitimately worst walmart in the country(at least that I've been too). read more

If you have any choice, avoid this location. Even by Walmart standards it's terrible. I've been to one on the South side of Chicago that was better organized with pleasanter staff. No one wants to help and if you corner them they don't know where anything is. No one staffs the pickup desk and your order probably is t ready anyway. Don't have issue with workers but I do with a piece of S%#* manager who called the towing company on me, because I parked my truck on there parking lot! I spend on weekly basis $200/5000 @ Wal-Mart stores and this is how you repay your clients?! This time I spent "only" $63 plus the $230 to the towing company who you moron called on me! I tried to find someone to help me & an associate was no where to be found. I went all the way from housewares to sporting goods before I found one.
