I'm going to give this a 3 star rating as unfortunately, my experience was pretty similar to my fellow Yelper who've reviewed this location. I've been to many a Walgreens and they are right, this one is perhaps the slowest of all the ones I have been to. To their credit, I only saw one person working at the pharmacy counter but they definitely could have used another. The line was about 8 people long and it was moving at a snails pace. During my highschool days of working at CVS, we would call for backup to open up a second register when the line got beyond 5 people. Now I know that is a different company and I wasn't in the pharmacy department but perhaps they could adopt a similar strategy. I can't complain too much because the item that I needed to purchase was on sale (about $15 normally but on sale for about $10+tax with the Walgreens card). I needed to pick up some Primatene tablets, which I use for my asthma from time to time. It helps break up any congestion I have in my chest and also minimize my wheezing during the winter. I'm not that likes to take medication but this stuff does help me personally. It's interesting that you have to show your ID to purchase it and that they had you the product from behind the counter, but I do understand at the active ingredient Ephedrine has been known to be abused. I believe they record your ID to make sure you're not buying it in unusual amounts, which is fine by me. Aside from the line, the customer service was polite enough and the store was similar to most other walgreens I've entered. Perhaps some better music aside from the elevator music would be nice but hey, what do you expect. (Disclaimer: My opinion and personal experience is not medical advice. Pharmacy. Not pleasant staff at all. Treat it like a hand out service and they are doing you a favor. Many other Walgreens customer service is much better. I will not revisit or use this location ever again but was tied as it is one of the only 24 hour pharmacy. I would much rather driver further and use a different company. read more

They tried telling me that there is a supply chain issues AGAIN....Meanwhile, they lied about not having my RX filled yet...but the date on the bottle and paperwork has it was filled 3 days ago. I was in need of a med and needed to get an override. I had a hard time locating the med in the first place. I called my mail order pharmacy. They refused to help me. Walgreens came through, and not only found me the medicine but they got me the override needed. They were extremely nice and extremely helpful. Good ol' Selden. As other reviewers have mentioned, the wait time at the pharmacy is always a disaster. I had an appointment the other day to get a vaccine. I waited for 40 MINUTES before walking out. I was patient and watched other people come and go. When I finally reminded them I'd been waiting for 40 minutes, I was told, "We're very busy!" No sh*t. I was told that although people are permitted to make vaccine appointments on their website every 10 minutes, they are understaffed. Fine. Then when I arrive for my appointment on time, just tell me it's going to be a very long wait, or to come back at another time. When I said I would like to leave, instead of telling me, "We're so sorry. It just will be another 5 minutes", she just asked for my name and canceled my appointment. Stellar customer service. Also? Same person giving the shots is also frantically trying to fill prescriptions! I don't want someone visibly pressed for time, quickly jabbing a needle in my arm. Don't offer appointments if you can't keep them. I left and made an appointment with CVS instead. They actually respect your time, and I've never waited more than 5 minutes. read more

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. I was forced to come here today for my prescriptions because the quick cvs right across the street was out of one of my medications. I came an hour and a half after my doctor sent in the scripts and was told I had to come back in ANOTHER HOUR. Fine. I come back and hour later and went to the drive thru Bc I am very ill and feverish and for some reason the three meds I wanted to pick up took a good 45 minutes . I don't understand why they're so slow and that was the reason i stopped coming here in 2014. Slow then and slow now. Every time I come here to pick up prescriptions for my mother with her heart condition its at least a 20 minute wait. Even when using the drive up window. This is at any hour morning noon or night. This is ridiculous im writing this while currently waiting in a line of 3 cars me being the third. I've been waiting for about 35 minutes at this point I finally arrive at the window and I can see there is 1 customer inside. So its not like they are exceptionaly busy. Having heard tales of illicit narcotics dealings in the large lot this Walgreens (no apostrophe) shares with AutoZone, I stopped in for a necessity and it was jam-packed. They seemed to be scrapping the place as if either remodeling or closing for good, and the prices were higher than those as its contemporaries. The Store is like any other store this one is a bit older but has most everything anyone is looking for. The Pharmacy is open 24/7 and that is a BIG plus the staff is for the most part awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. Now the problem.......the wait....OMG sometimes I think riots are going to start. It is rare that you can be in and out, 40% of the time the wait isn't that bad, the other 40% of the time you want to sell your house for gum and immediately move to a healthier neighborhood and forget the drive thru it is that way also. So you may ask why? Glad you did my unscientific observations are everyone; has got a story, a problem is trying to weasel something, not having the right information on file to begin with, make the staff manage there care and problem, if I have to hear "well call my doctor" one more time urgent medical care really will be needed. Call your Doctor yourself have your crap together understand what they need to do their job and you can get in and out. They need an express lane for "people who have their shit together" but it probably too long to fit on a sign after it is also made into Spanish. Rarely have I observed the wait it to be the staff's problem BUT what IS the Staff's problem is the utter failure of Corp Mgmt. to provide this department with adequate amount of personnel to handle the volume they do and for that is the resultant rating. read more

I have purchased an Amazon gift card for someone for Christmas. I went in because there was a difference between what I was charged on my credit card and my receipt (by over $75!!). I asked the supervisor to help. She refused to help and said I had to call the corporate office or deal with Amazon because it was a gift card (????really). She would not even look at the receipt-the store was not busy. She refused to give me her name. I told her I was going to let them know that she refused to help. She called me a STUP*D BIT**! In the store! I told her I would report her. She continued to yell at me. I left the store. She had the nerve to follow me out of the store and yell at me some more. She was young, had NO customer service skills and partly blue hair(part brown I believe). I have never seen anyone so unprofessional in my life. She should be fired. This store needs proper maintenance inside and out. The carts were all over the parking lot and the store needs the get cleaned up internally. This place ROCKS! Whether you need a prescription filled or a new coffee maker - this is the place to go. And don't forget to take a stroll past my favorite place in the entire store; the shelf with all that "As Scene on TV" stuff. This is my first choice of stores to go to when I need anything and they have the most helpful staff in town. How can you beat a place that helps you out in a pinch - like say you happen to forget your wife's birthday. You can get a card, flowers, a bottle of Tommy perfume, a nice gift bag to put it all in and a Snickers bar to eat on your drive home. This location is a a lifesaver! All the other locations in my area aren't 24hrs and this one is. Anything I need whether it's a birthday card to some snacks they are right there whenever I need them. There's also a really sweet young lady who is always at the register whom I look forward to seeing whenever I go in because she's so welcoming. read more

Today I made a call to Walgreen's Pharmacy to get answers due to an emergency. At first I was on hold for approximately 6 minutes. I kept hearing the recording say, "there are two caller in front of you." Then after another few minutes, the recording said, "there is one caller in front of you, please hold." I would say it was about another 6-7 minutes and then the call was disconnected. I immediately called back only to find out I lost my spot in que and I now had to wait to be picked up because there were another two callers ahead of me. 12 minutes later and finally the pharmacist picked up. This is absolutely unacceptable for this type of business and need to hire more people to answer the calls so as not to keep other people on hold for so long. This Walgreen's pharmacy does not run as efficiently as it should. read more
