I just moved up here and my PCP sent in prescriptions and she got me mixed up with someone else. She did something similar to my daughter and my neighbor down the street. I'm waiting on corporate to get back to me, I just reported Kristine and I asked for an update and let you know what happens. To be sure, it is…read morestill a far, far better grocery store than nearly every other grocery store out there, but as they say, it's all relative. Perhaps my main issue with this particular store is that I was hungry when I came in, and their ready-to-eat food was sub-par. The Chinese food at the buffet was categorically awful (even for buffet Chinese food), so I moved on to the sandwich counter. After ordering, the counter-girl and I had a difference of opinion. I know it was a lot to ask, but I wanted the sandwich I ordered, and she gave me a different sandwich and wanted me to be happy with that. Otherwise, it's pretty much a Wegmans. I got lost wandering about and admiring the gigantic selection of so very reasonably-priced goods. The organic items in particualr were shockingly affordable; it would basically be cheaper to buy a ton of stuff here and then drive it back to NYC. So we did that.

Last two times I drove there to specifically buy that product they were out, of all types. I just don't think that is acceptable. Wegman's claims to pride itself on service and they can't buy enough cottage cheese? It obviously is the most popular brand they carry. In addition they could make a larger display in doesn't hold that many on the shelf make more room for the product that moves, you'd think? I will drive farther to a different store in Batavia were I know they will have it on the shelf, and who knows but I probably will buy a lot more items since I am there! Just sayin....like the store but you should stock the products that move. I buy four of these at a time, they have a long shelf life!!!

I'm not too picky on what brands I use.  Pretty much anything they have in the store is great.  I stock up on shampoos and conditioners when the liters are on sale.  And I always find hairspray, or mousse, or some other styling product that's on sale while I'm there, so I get those, too.  Biosilk, Tigi and Bain de Terre are some of my favorites. It is very unlikely that I will ever shop at this location again solely based on the poor customer service.
