The pharmacy of this Walgreen's is severely understaffed and has been understaffed for a very long time. They often make little mistakes, they aren't able to help you when your insurance company plays games with you. I don't usually use this pharmacy but I sometimes wind up doing so because it is the closest one to my house. But every time, I regret it. If your medicine is critically important, I would not use this pharmacy as your life might literally be in danger. This is a pharmacy that literally doesn't answer it's phones. If your situation is less urgent, you might want to use it, but be prepared for a nightmare experience. I have been here enough to realize that it is not a problem with a particular employee and it is not simply a rare fluke that causes occasional busyness. has yelp ever considered a negative star rating? i went here tonight to purchase some pain relief in a patch. the first employee i encountered dodged eye contact, so i was left to search for the heat patches on my own. but the worst part was the paying part. the cashier was READING PEOPLE MAGAZINE, barely looking up at her customers, BARELY MUMBLING THE TOTALS!! when the economy is this bad, i really resent people like this having jobs! read more

The image of the medical professional (and I seriously doubt that's what she is because she never introduced herself), just shaking my daughter's form in front of me like a scolding teacher and rushing me away, but having enough time to help someone who didn't speak English fill out forms on the appointment console, is still haunting me. What I found out after my daughter's mother arrived with paperwork, is that they somehow switched to Advocate and could no longer treat my daughter. How would I know that? Why didn't she just say that's what happened rather than loudly inform me about the law she would be breaking if she saw my daughter?! That time could've been spent getting her meds elsewhere! Overall, she was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and had no uniform or badge displaying her name or title! Never Again !!!!! I truly believe we were discriminated against over my daughter's type of insurance. She doesn't know anything about our situation and rather than try to assist us in obtaining meds for my daughter's pink eye (if not from here, somewhere else), we were berated and ignored. This is torture you have to wait in a line 12 deep,just to drop off a prescription. Thirty minutes later you get to the counter and you are told it will take 45 minutes to one hour to fill your prescription. Ninety minutes later you are told it will just be a few more minutes. The big question I have is why are there 3drop off stations at the counter and only one person working the counter? I suggest mail order pharmacies read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this Walgreens because I was new in town and have used Walgreens in the past and was very happy with the service. This Walgreens on the other hand is the exact opposite. I had prescriptions filled here four or five times in hopes the terrible service was just a one off incident but that proved not to be the case. There are a bunch of teenagers who work behind the pharmacy and are very rude and look like they haven't washed their scrubs in over two weeks. They do not even acknowledge you standing there half the time so the only pharmacist on duty has to come help you even though there are four other people standing there. When they did come and help, I provided my prescription and was told that it would be about half an hr. I shopped and came back 35 minutes later and stood there patiently. Again, nobody helped me. So I asked what the status of my script was and the guy started digging through a bunch of stuff on the counter (how's that for privacy). He found my script only to say he hadn't even put it in the system yet so it would be another 20 mins. I then asked why it wasn't put in when I was standing there a half hour ago and he very rudely said that he was busy. While I was shopping, someone in the general store came over the intercom asking for an item and assistance from the person in charge of that dept. Then someone else came over the intercom and yelled that they were out of it as if the person asking should've known this. Very unprofessional all around! No wonder they are closing stores all over the country. read more

In general, Walgreens used to be my Walmart. I like Walgreens because they tend to carry unique items other stores don't carry. Walgreens is more diversified....until you step into this particular Walgreens. They don't have much at all. It's a dank, little store that is not fun to shop in. I have no idea who is in charge of merchandising but that person needs help. I've walked in this store expecting to get 3 or 5 items and often times come out with zero. Either they don't sell it there (very popular sales items) or they refuse to stock until after the sales. I went in the other day to buy hair products. I know about how much this item really cost. Walgreens had the items for $8.99 each, while other stores and other Walgreens had it for less..Jewel $6.99, Walmart $5.99, Target $6.99. I've lived in the area many years ago and recall this Walgreens as one of my favorites. I am not sure why this store is still open. read more

This pharmacy seriously moves at molasses pace. Waited in line for over twenty five mins with only one person ahead of me. This is literally the least efficient place you could pick up a prescription. read more

After trying to find cold medicine for my ailing son. I was rudely 'welcomed' by Eric and asked to present my loyalty card number w/o any kind normal welcome. Eric was extremely unwelcoming after encouraging him to be more customer centric - to the point of him taunting me by giving me a vulgar last name when I asked for his last name. If this is the the type of employee they have, I'd recommend the CVS for my 25+ employees in the area read more

They told me my meds where ready I get over there and of course they are out of one of them so they called another store and told me it would be ready when I got there.. When I arrived at the other store they told me I had to wait 1.5 hrs! The lady at the drive thou was RUDE! I wish I knew her name. Being in the customer service field I would have been fired if I treated a customer they way the treated me! I called my doctor and got them to transfer to meijer.. Worth the drive because wallgreens won't ever get another dime from me. read more

Worst customer service in the pharmacy. Young lady, no name tag obviously did not want to be there on a Saturday afternoon. Confusion with my address, rather than offer to help correct it to avoid this in the future, I got the shoulder shrug, like,I don't know what you want me to do about it...shoulder shrug. I have had to wait a profoundly long time, several times,for my prescriptions, times that surpass the wait time given by the ever so polite and gracious pharmacy techs. If you want any type of customer service, yet alone an iota of respect, go to another Walgreens. read more
