This Walgreens is located on Francis Lewis and Hollis Avenue in a strip mall. There's Domino's Pizza, Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins, and a beauty store. Even though there is a farely good size parking lot, parking can be hectic, chaotic, and trying. I came by today and as expected, the parking lot was jammed packed but I found a legal spot in front of the bus stop on Francis Lewis. Walking in I felt safe due to the security guard that was on duty. This store gets very crowded at times and you just never know what's going to pop off in there! The store was neat and tidy regardless of the associates displaying due delagence working hard at replenishing stock, merchandising, or just passing you by. I had time to peruse the aisles in search of what I really needed but it would have been nice for an associate to asked if I needed help. It appears that you would need to ask them were a particular item may be located. I gathered t the at information as one guy did request assistance and the associate was in a hurry to get back to what she was doing, but she did stop and help. This is a great competition to CVS, and the only reason I switched is because the don't make me go to a kiosk to do my transactions. Some people prefer the kiosk and that perfectly fine just as I don't prefer the kiosk and that's perfectly fine as well. It's like Faith, Hope & Charity said, to each his own, that's my philosophy, I don't know what's right for you and you don't know what's right for me. (R & B artist) Picking up what I came to get and viewing the vibrant colors of Easter baskets and candies along with St. Patricks Day items. It was very creative and a well thought out display. So my visit was quick and the associates were kind. Pro- Tip if you love krispy kreme, this would be your place to grab a box or two. If I could give one star I would. This pharmacy is a travesty. The line is always around the store.

Initial customer service can be improved. Felt as if we were invisible. Special Epi-pen for infant was first stated to MD that was at this store. Not true. Customer was calling insurance company, MD and pharmacy for 2 weeks trying to secure this Epi-Pen from this Walgreens. We even went to other Walgreens that this one said had it and they did not. Ultimately went to our normal pharmacy who needed a new pre-authorization and got the medication the following day. We should have gone there first. There was a very nice pharmacist, Stephanie at this Walgreens who would get back to us but your system was ineffective. She got back to us in the third week stating she had the medication but we already had it. Truly she tried. I would give her 4 stars for true effort. read more

Absolute worst experience of my life. I was coming in to do a return when an employee accused me of stealing the items off the shelves and returning them. Obviously I completely denied that this happened and I told her to check the cameras in which she would see that I did not steal anything. She refused and instead ripped up my receipt so now I can't return my items any where. Completely disgusting. read more

After being shuffled around from store to store trying to find a Walgreens that takes passport photos I was directed to the Hollis location for passport photos. Once I arrived there I saw Michael works in the photo department and is always helpful ! He greeted me and said "yep I sure do take passport photos, have a seat in the chair!" I sat down the chair, he snapped a few photos and five minutes later I had two (rather nice) perfectly cut passport photos for $13 plus tax! Thanks Michael! read more

Worst Walgreens ever. Did management change? Some rude jerk had the photo register open took 1 man and then sees a long line, asks "Are you picking up photos?" No asshole. I'm not ! I have to buy these wipes so I can go clean up my daughter who had a #2 accident at school! Think you can take 1 second out of your sweet shift to ring me up?! He closes. Another Bafoon takes 10 minutes to call me next and proceeds to ask if I want to buy M&Ms chocolate? NO! NO! NO! Give me my wipes before I walk out of here with them!!!!!! Usually don't write bad reviews but this one will be the first. First off, there's barely anyone at the registers so sometimes the line gets long. Second management is nowhere to be found and when you do find them to ask for help, he's usually half tailed. And the biggest thing, they have issues replenishing their best selling items. Came in there 3 times within 2 weeks asking for Dove Men+Care body wash in the Deep Clean variety, they never had it on all three occasions. Plus when they finally get CERTAIN food items of high quality, they barely get any new deliveries of it again. Like come on this is not a low class community. It's very middle to upper middle class. We should be able to get more stock of the items we desire without incident. I guess this is what happens when you only cater to the Caribbean residents and not to the whole community at large. So much for that renovation they just did, at least with the new windows everyone can see their B.S. from outside at any angle. Hooray read more

24hr Walgreens. I'm pretty sure you're familiar with Walgreens. They pretty much have everything you need. Toiletries to Stationary to Groceries to Prescriptions filled. This Walgreens even has a small section where they cater to the Caribbean needs of the neighborhood. Stuff like jerk seasoning, Horlicks, Milo, Limocol and other things that you'd probably have to be from an island to really appreciate. read more

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have officers in the Walgreens but I think that was a terrible idea. It creates an hostile environment. Yes, I understand sometimes the kids can be a bit difficult to manage when they get out of school but I don't shop to be harassed. Today when I went in the store and this officer followed me the whole time. I didn't have a purse or anything so how am I going to steal? I shop there every week and today will be the last day they get a dollar out of me. I'll go to the local stores because all the money this chain makes from our communities and you mean to tell me you can't hiring the proper security. We are not criminals. This is our community and I'm not shopping in no hostile environment. One of the managers use to call the cops for help all the time when the kids would get out of school and he was incriminating people too. One day he could barely check me out because he was so busy watching the kids. It makes me sick how they treat us in our own community. I should have recorded the officer but I had to go to work, so I don't have time to give them any more ammunition because they already see us as a threat because of the melanin in our skin. I had to share my experience because they have to do better. Don't profit off of our dollars if you will profile us and treat us like criminals in our own community. read more
