There's Walgreens I suppose, but the lines are always long and maybe sometimes you just want to play the lotto. So, while I waited for my food, I decided to peruse Angie's. For all the hats that this store wears, it still feels very spacious and has a nice layout. The plants sold here range from $5 and up. It looks like the chocolate and candies are homemade (but I'm not positive) and are sold my weight. They certainly don't look like they are mass produced or came out of a box. The snack and convenience area has the usual chips, gum, candy selection that you would see in any local bodega. I decided to order a Mango Slush Boba drink. This is my go-to order whenever I'm trying out a new spot. I don't think any real fruit was used in the drink, but it still tasted pretty good. Also, I liked the very fine consistency of the slush. If I'm ever in this neighborhood again, I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items in their drink menu. And I'm very curious to try their chocolates.

I came by today and as expected, the parking lot was jammed packed but I found a legal spot in front of the bus stop on Francis Lewis. Walking in I felt safe due to the security guard that was on duty. This store gets very crowded at times and you just never know what's going to pop off in there! The store was neat and tidy regardless of the associates displaying due delagence working hard at replenishing stock, merchandising, or just passing you by. I had time to peruse the aisles in search of what I really needed but it would have been nice for an associate to asked if I needed help. It appears that you would need to ask them were a particular item may be located. I gathered t the at information as one guy did request assistance and the associate was in a hurry to get back to what she was doing, but she did stop and help. This is a great competition to CVS, and the only reason I switched is because the don't make me go to a kiosk to do my transactions.
