I don't usually have problems if there is an issue usually it's because there busy people don't realize how hard this pharmacy works to get stuff done so treat them how you want to be treated be patient or call ahead of time to make sure your order is filled properly. read more

Terrible pharmacy. Constantly messing up prescriptions! Extremely long wait times, in person, drive through and phone wait times! When they say "Pickup in as little as a half hour it appears that they mean , after you arrive. yesterday made the mistake of using the drive-through to pick up an prescription. Was the second car in line behind a BMW with New York plates. We couldn't figure out what was happening since as time passed the car was just sitting there, no interaction with the service window. Other cars piled up behind us and it wasn't possible to drive around and go inside. We sat there for literally a half hour. When we got to the window we found out that Walgreens was doing drive-up Covid testing, there had been no signs warning us of this. For the time involved they must have been waiting for the results. To top it off, the prescription that was supposed to be ready at 11am wasn't ready at 4pm. I'd suggest avoiding the drive-though window until this covid nonsense is over. read more

complete hot mess. if you can't accommodate people for vaccinations and flu shot don't offer it elderly people standing around with no place for them to sit waiting for a vaccine. I wai 20 minutes with two people ahead of me in line for a prescription I would've gone to the drive-through but I've never had luck there get your act together wall greens. Big sign at front saying you were trying to hire more people how about you skip the vaccinations until you can actually hire more people read more

I'm not one to leave negative reviews however this particular Walgreens location is consistently problematic... particularly the pharmacy. For starters the staff is beyond rude I mean to the point of almost going above and beyond to be rude to you. I've been hung up on left on hold and straight up ignored on several different occasions. I call ahead to fill my sons prescription monthly that he has been on since birth he is 5 mind you and every time without fail it's not ready or if they need prior authorization I end up having to contact the doctors office myself , although it is there job to do so... there are literally six women behind the desk at any given time and the wait is a minimum of thirty minutes just for them to acknowledge your presence. They treat you like you are an inconvenience and are absolutely useless. They should fire every single pharmacy employee or find better management because this is atrocious. read more

It was a very busy evening at this Walgreens. The pharmacist and staff at register were exceptionally patient and attentive to every patient in person, at the drive through and on the phone. They were dealing with high volume and peoples new insurance information. They were exceptionally helpful and professional under pressure. read more

Informed pharmacist on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS that I need extra assistance and she was downright rude. As a guest without special needs they are negligent. Since I am disabled, the way they consistently fail to bill insurance, blatantly refuse to call another (Walgreens) to rectify issues they caused to clarify or solve errors crosses the line into malpractice. Walgreens customer for 15+ years on a consistent monthly basis. For the past year I have unfortunately had to use the Plymouth branch. They need training in customer service in addition to how to complete very basic tasks such as billing insurance and interacting with customers on the autism spectrum without being condescending and rude. Particularly when they consistently drop the ball. I really miss the Walgreens staff who had a higher standard for the customers who keep their families fed. Don't be shocked when customers are short of patience when they cannot successfully pick up necessary medication without issue even one time after years of getting it right. I am a senior citizen who has been a long-time customer of Walgreens located on Samoset St. in Plymouth. Recently, an employee disrespected me in an unexpected and unethical way. When the store manager returned from an extended medical leave, I addressed the issue with her. She was unwilling to speak in an office but chose to have our discussion in the middle of the store floor. She asked me to give her a week to "review the tapes". When I returned on the appointed day, she again refused to have a conversation in a private location. She stated the tapes were no longer available. She informed me that: "I talked to the employee and he said he didn't do it. He is my employee and I have to stick by him - he does not lie." I asked her if she was calling ME a liar?? Her reply was: "I'm not getting into this with you - I'm walking away." I asked for her supervisor's name and she refused to provide it. She instructed me to call 1-800-WALGREENS. Upon arriving home, I made the call and spoke with ;her manager, Michael McGrath, who stated the whole situation was unacceptable and not the way they "do business". I requested a letter of apology from this manager and notations be placed in both employee's files. He asked for two weeks to accomplish this as this manager was on "vacation". I did receive a letter from this female manager. Both my first and last names were misspelled and the address was to a town I have never lived in!! This showed a total lack of respect and professionalism as my name and address are well-documented at both the Plymouth location and headquarters. I have decided that the hundreds of dollars I spend on a yearly basis at Walgreens will now be better spent at other retailers. This was an egregious situation that really demonstrated how little a company can value your business. I ask Walgreens' customers, especially seniors, to reconsider spending money at Walgreens where they were willing to call a senior citizen and a good customer, a liar. I like this store, Every person that I've had contact with,(ie: the cashier, pharmacist or people working in the pharmacy) have been extremely nice and very helpful. I've stopped in To try out the pharmacy, I ended up looking through the isle w/ all the paper/school supplies, notebooks etc.they carried updated, new "cool" 3 ring binders w/ an Accordian file,that you can open the file part w/o having to unzip the whole binder(very cool) & many different choices! i got some makeup things too! Actually I had a fun time! Store was very clean also,nothing out in the isles. read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad day. 45mins of waiting in person, AFTER checking in for a flu shot. Annoyed that I was there for an hour,I walked out without my slip for said flu shot. I try calling and it is put into endless computerized hold. I can assure you that after 30 minutes not one person picks up but it does change songs and you finally think someone picked up. read more

This has been my pharmacy of choice and a preferred provider for my insurance for many years. Lately I find the service hit or miss. There are some pharmacy techs who go out of their way to be helpful and others who cannot be bothered. Recently my doctor sent a prescription to Walgreens electronically. The pharmacy emailed me there was a delay - they did not have the medication in stock. I asked for their assistance in locating pharmacy that had the medication and after making a few calls, they were unable to find a pharmacy that had the medication and said I was on my own to try to find a pharmacy. Because the prescription was sent electronically, they could not provide me a copy that could be filled. I would have to find a pharmacy with the medication and then ask that pharmacy to transfer the prescription. I asked the price of the medication and was told it would be $97 and change. After multiple calls to pharmacies on the south shore, I located the medication in Cohasset (a 45 minute drive) and the personnel there were most helpful and the price was only $40 and change. Something is wrong at Walgreens when two Walgreens pharmacies have such varied pricing for the same medication. Another problem I recently encountered - My prescription drug plan changed this year and I drove to Walgreens in Plymouth to present my new insurance card and left a prescription to be filled. When I went to pick up the medication, the pharmacy tech said my insurance was denied. The reason - they used my old insurance information. Walgreens personnel in Plymouth need some remediation and direction in working with customers and developing a standardized protocol for filling prescription and communicating with customers. My recent experience leaves me wondering if Walgreens in Plymouth has adequate safety protocols in place. I think it is time to try a new pharmacy. I cannot recommend this pharmacy at this time and will be looking for a new pharmacy for handing my prescriptions. read more
