Refill by phone fails. Can't leave a voice message. The computer just says "try again later".

Front of store is fine , but the actual pharmacy is a total nightmare is many Cvs in the Plymouth county area one on 517 State Rd. you should not choose that pharmacy for any reason. One of the pharmacist is the rudest person you'll ever meet has a big attitude problem. Most of the pharmacy technicians are OK, it has improved a bit since a year ago when they didn't answer the phones for a good six months straight, which they still shut off sometimes every time I go there the pharmacist makes me sit in the chairs and helps a good 5 to 15 people before me, as I sit there, and I talk to other people that may be waiting. They also have the same sort of problems get the same sort of attitude, have the same sort of phone problems and complain of complete laziness , when prescriptions are supposed to be expedited it used to be 15 minutes max now it runs anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes of waiting doesn't matter if you have one or five prescriptions still the same wait time doesn't matter if it's processing or they're doing it from scratch. they definitely have favorites there when it comes to certain clients and customers and it's only one of the pharmacist that everybody has an issue the other handful of pharmacist that work there are respectful for the most part. Don't make you wait more than 20 minutes when you're waiting for a prescription if it's expedited and sometimes they may even smile. All this being said, choose a different pharmacy if you have a vehicle to get around otherwise you're gonna end up with a headache migraine anxiety I'll be stressed out for the rest of your day unless you're picking up anxiety medicine lol . read more

Of all the awful pharmacies to choose from, this CVS is the definition of "WORST". I routinely wait days for a prescription to be filled- not hours, DAYS. And since I have all my standing prescriptions filled by mail order, anything I need from here is more of an emergency. Right now, it's day 3 of waiting for a script that my doc sent in 3 days ago. Last time while I sat in the store and waited for a prescription (2 hours + two days) six o'clock came and like Stepford pharmacists, they all stood up and left! Just. . . left whatever they were doing and walked out. Where's my prescription?? Oh we're closed. we reopen tomorrow at 9am. Obviously management doesn't care, since no matter how loud the complaining gets in the line, no one responds. Please, Yelp, please- make a "minus stars" category for this eighth circle of hell. Forcing a one-star review for a dirty store, lax management and poor business practices doesn't make anyone feel any better! read more

The staff who work in the store/pharmacy are pretty nice, and the store itself is fine. My concern with this CVS regarding is the fact that I waited on hold for 50 minutes to speak to the pharmacist. Nobody ever answered my call, and I eventually hung up the phone. I have never waited more than 15-20 minutes at any CVS location for somebody in the pharmacy to answer the phone. I understand many places are short-staffed during this pandemic (and am empathetic to that) but I was very disappointed in how poor the customer service was. This CVS pharmacy's service was outstanding for this first-time user! New to the area, our doctor's office phoned in our prescriptions which were ready for pickup, and received our flu vax, within a half hour! Pharmacy Staff was great in going beyond expectations to confirm script validity by phone with manufacturer rep while we were there. Kudos all around to our new and convenient pharmacy!! read more

Stay in your car and drive on by. You can drive to another CVS in the area and do your business and be back before you could ever complete a transaction or pick up a script at this location. Prescriptions ARE never ready! Even if you wait days before picking it up. The dumpster and trash bins have more trash around them than in them. Gates are always swinging in the breeze exposing this mess. Most signs have blown over or slid down pole so that they are not legible. All comes down to a very inept manager that takes no pride. After moving to Plymouth 4 years ago, I started using the CVS at 517 State road...Their prices were very high but when they overcharged for a prepackaged prescription and they would not make an adjustment or take back the never opened pavkage, I started going to Walgreens and found their prescription prices were over 40% less than CVS...I'll never go back...The Walgreen employees were also friendlier and more courteous... read more

Unless the reviewer is also a regular customer of Walgreens or Rite Aid, accesses the few remaining pharmacies in their supermarket or has used an online source, these one and two star "reviews" are of little to no value to the community. Make a contribution and keep your complaints to a communication with the company but whining on the web accomplishes not a damn thing. The store is open, inviting and easily accessible. This is the worst run cvs. The worst. And their management doesn't care. Had a flu shot scheduled and arrive and they say "oh we had to throw away our doses no one notified you?" No in fact I got TWO confirmation texts. Place is a joke, as others have said just keep driving by, you're better off going 20 minutes out of your way to another one by the time you get help. They offer you no compensation for your time or their errors either. No coupons, no nothing. With all the money they're scamming off with their fake coupons you would think they could offer a $5 courtesy. Then again this store would bankrupt the franchise as they'd have to hand out 100 courtesy coupons a day. read more

Absolutely the WORST pharmacy that I have ever done business with.It took 2 days for someone to answer a phone call. Presciptions NEVER ready when promised. ALWAYS have to wait an exceedingly long time, even when meds are given"priority".I intentionally call days ahead ,hoping the presciption will be ready for me at pick up. Never ever filled on time. CVS is by far milking lack of customer service and blaming covid-19. I will AVOID this store in the future for another chain or local pharmacy. They show a prescription as ready when it is not. They could simply call or leave a notice on the app. That is sheer lazy and uncaring for people. Without a doubt the worst mismanagement in any pharmacy I've ever been in. Rude employees, ignoring customers, ignorant of what merchandise they carry, broken down self checkout and those are the plus things in this awful store. I really needed an antibiotic for a sinus infection. This was my first prescription since I moved, so a new CVS for me. I received a call from the store saying the RX was ready. When i got to the register, the clerk had trouble finding my account. She referred me to Danny at the Drop-off desk. Danny was able to find the problem, rebuild my account, and then miraculously got the whole team involved in re-processing the order. He was a true leader and the staff had wonderful attitudes and all rose to the occasion. It was wonderful watching how he got everyone to participate. I will be a regular at this location, as they are a great team! read more

Today is the second time they did not have my prescription filled. At drop off yesterday I asked to have it by 5 pm which gave them 6 hours. It was not ready today at 3 pm and they said to return in an hour. This is getting to be this store's norm. You can't work with their system if they ignore delivery times. Hit or miss prescriptions. I would go to a different pharmacy but they are the only one in town. Poor service. read more

I have been unfortunately using this pharmacy for 20+ years as it was closest to my home. I am livid. They called my house to tell me my prescription is ready only to get there and they tell me a. no script is ready b. I am not even in their system! I had just picked up a prescription two weeks ago (different one than the one I currently am waiting on). I also have been sitting on hold now for 20 minutes and waiting to try and clear this up and all i hear is information about vaccines. I don't care about vaccines- I get mine at my doctors office. This pharmacy shows a remarkable lack of efficiency in filling prescriptions or showing care for its customers' needs or questions. Even courtesy seems beyond their ability. Instead,I feel like I'm visiting an assembly line of robots filling packages. Once I waited a half hour for my prescription to be filled although I had called it in the day before. My patience ran out, so I left. Another time I received a text message telling me my prescription was ready after a long delay. So I drove to Manomet but was it ready? Of course not. Could anyone there be courteous enough to phone me if there was an issue? Of course not. I've found another pharmacy. You should, too. read more

The most Uncompassionate customer service. EVERY time I attempt to pick up a prescription there is some sort of issue. Some of the issues could be resolved at drop off if they had reviewed properly and then upon pick up there wouldn't be a delay. I completely understand that most of these issues are out of control and are usually due to the provider or insurance company, however their callous staff could not care less. They roll their eyes, offer half an explanation expecting that the customer is supposed to know pharmacy jargon and magically just know what the problem even is. They will just pawn you off on the next person , no one cares about actually helping you resolve any issues and even show any compassion that a lot of the time you are waiting while you feel ill. I hate that this pharmacy is the closest to my home, I try to use other pharmacies when ever possible but when you are home sick and can't tolerate driving you are at their mercy. Every time I have to resort to using this pharmacy I am optimistic that perhaps it won't be a terrible experience, but every time it is a terrible experience! read more

Went to CVS today and it was a good experience. I needed cough drops, honey and protein bars. Got everything I wanted and the customer service rep was very helpful and nice. Zero waiting and fully stocked shelves. Parking is easy and accessible from Route 3. They have a minute clinic but it was closed. Tried transferring prescription online and it said I would have to call. Called ans was disconnected after 3 minutes on hold. Called back and was on hold for 36 minutes and was then disconnected. Called again and was on hold for over 30 minutes and finally gave up. They obviously could not care less about customer service. read more

They have what we need, at reasonable prices, and are always professional & pleasant. Store is well stocked, and they do offer some healthier options for drinks & snacks. Our neighborhood go-to store. Also, although noticeably short-staffed, their Pharmacy is always helpful, timely & fantastic at handling the constant heavy flow of customers. I really appreciate the professional ladies in the pharmacy. Wish their management would get them enough help (that's why I was tempted to take away a star in my rating, but decided not to.) read more

Would be awesome if they could actually tell you when they don't have your medications in stock. I had 2 prescriptions that were due to be filled on oct. 5th. Both sent in electronically on oct. 5th. They chose to fill one and not the other, for no apparent reason. When I was down to one day of medication, and had finally gotten my paycheck, I went to pick up said medications. Sitting in the drive through with a crying toddler for 30 min isn't something I have time to do every day. Get to the window, and for some reason they only filled one prescription and are now out of the second. This medication has severe side effects if stopped abruptly. When I ask why it wasn't filled on oct 5, pharmacist continues to tell me over and over again that the insurance wouldn't pay to fill it earlier than oct 5th. Duh. It was sent in in oct 5th, and they never bothered to fill it along with my other meds, nor did they bother to order more knowing they had an outstanding rx they hadn't filled. When I explain My medication is very clearly labeled that it should not be discontinued abruptly and that I need to pick it up somewhere today, The pharmacist continues to argue with me and insist that no one made any mistake. Refuses to transfer my prescription to another cvs that has my medicine, refuses to let me take my business elsewhere, but informs me I need to just wait 3-4 days to see if they can get it in. 3-4 days without a medication that isn't supposed to be stopped abruptly without severe side effects. 3-4 days that I cannot go to work because the pharmacist didn't want to do their job and put my prescription through on oct 5th when it was requested by the doctor, and when the pharmacist agrees it was eligible for refill through insurance. This is by far the best CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They have a heart and actually care about people (remember my name) I don't feel like just another insurance #... You never know how well the service will be at the pharmacy. Sometimes it's helpful, other times it's at times as far as offensive. The cashiers at the main desk are always pretty good with what they do. But man, the prices! A bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee is $12. It's about $4 less at a grocery store. Shampoos and personal-hygiene products are extremely overpriced. They really know how to get you. read more
