I am incredibly disappointed with experience at this target. Every aisle was filled with empty shelves. There are boxes of items everywhere, but nothing was stocked. How are we supposed to buy what we need here if nothing is on display. The make up aisle was completely empty. Tampon boxes were open. None of the fridges were the food was were stocked. I am very disappointed. I recommend not coming to this one and go to Taunton. The workers don't do anything is walk around with carts and don't stock the shelves one bit. If you're shopping for the family just don't even come here. Just go to Walmart at that point. read more

No I absolutely would never recommend this store to anybody if I could give it -5 stars I would. And it's not like it's just from a few peoples bad experiences if you go on their Facebook page and read their reviews 90% of them are bad. Their customer service is terrible, I don't know who does the dispatching but it seems that every single package thats mailed out is destroyed by the time it gets to the person's house. oh and if you try to purchase something online and it ends up being out of stock you get charged for it anyway and can't get your money back for 10 days!!! I don't know what kind of policy that is but I've never heard of that in my entire life! Target is an absolute disgrace. And they do have a shitty inventory 95% of the time and the store is usually a complete mess with never enough cashiers to work the registers read more

This target is a hop, skip and jump away from where I used to which was a bonus. It's after the Dairy Queen in Abington for those of you looking for a landmark. Parking at this location is never a hassle unless you're one of those aiming for a spot sooo close to the entrance. It's okay, just walk since it's not that far. They recently did a floor change where accessories moved over to the right where women clothing is. For the life of me, I can't find the sunglasses. Where are they? Guest Services department rocks. I accidentally left my phone at the baby register comp station and obliviously I didn't realize it until I was shopping for a dear friend's baby shower. One of the ladies was really nice and knew it was me who left it. Mind you, a mom of three had lost her phone the same day and time as me. She looked at me jealously as I found my phone as she hadn't....hope you found it! I never have a problem finding things I need here. I use the cartwheel app all the time to make sure I'm getting discounts and I've the red card to save 5% every time. read more

Wow! First time at the Target and the customer service I received from my check out lady was abhorring!!!!! First off I always bring my own shopping bags to save the environment from endless amounts of plastic in the ocean. I hate when cashiers look at you with disgust and rolling eyes when you hand hem these bags!! So I brought by bags per usual and handed them to the woman ringing me up. She Sandy's bags aside and scans all my items. After I'm done paying, she starts ringing up the girl behind me before bagging any of my items!!!! I stare at her blankly and ask if this is a bag your own type of place?! She stares at me (no reply) and then turns back to other person and finishes checking them out! At this point I'm tired of waiting and start bagging my items, she finally starts to help as I'm on my last bag. Wow. You've really stooped low hiring this kind of customer service Target. Dirty, unorganized, out of stock on a lot, refrigeration is broken way too much and some of the staff/cashiers are the most unfriendly rude people I've met in a long time. The Pride stuff/clothes/breast bands is way over the top! Maybe they should honor our veterans for more than 1 day!!Don't care who you love at all. Stop shoving the rainbow and transgender stuff down our throats please! Gonna try the Hanover store to see if that one is any better. read more

Very upsetting experience. I came to the Starbucks here and was received with a terrible attitude by a girl with red hair. She made my coffee with such attitude and when I asked her to pour more milk into my coffee she rolled her eyes and did it with such disgust. This is not what I would've expected from a Starbucks. read more

This review is for the starbucks inside the target, there is an older lady who works there, I like to refer to her as the "old crab apple" because she is very friendly and kind. She made a coffee for me and my gf and made them completely wrong. We asked her a simple question about one of the coffees and she couldn't even answer it. I ordered a grande iced white mocha, not sure if they heard me right or not but they handed me a hot one. when I told the barista with the red hair that I actually wanted it iced she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes before remaking it. miscommunication is one thing but the attitude that came after was completely unacceptable. read more

Folks pick on Walmart, I have gone into a Target Store maybe 3 times over the last few years and based on today's visit to the Abington Target store today, I'll likely never enter another. It was so bad, I felt the need to speak with the manger, the response was very underwhelming. Shelves where poorly stocked, carts blocking the exits on the front door and generally the place was filthy. Given that I do not often visit a Target, is this the norm for them? Frankly I expect little from Ocean State Job Lot, however compared to Target, Ocean State looks like a Crown Jewel.. read more

What the corporate minds at Target were thinking when they built this store in the middle of nowhere (well... next to a Stop and Shop). But whatever it was, it works out amazing for me. This store, even on the weekends, gets no more than "marginally" busy. It's a real walk in the park to shop here compared to the nearby Wal-Mart. The store almost always has items in stock, even if they are on sale or discounted. The employees I've met have all been knowledgeable and friendly, a real change of pace from the Target in Dorchester I used to have to go to. All and all, if you live in the area, it's worth a trip to check out, there's something for everyone here. read more

Clean and organized and pleasant for quick clothes, home goods or basic groceries. The pharmacy has been more difficult to use since they switched to CVS, but not bad enough that I plan to change. The photo department is generally disorganized - they searched for 10 minutes for my photos at the most recent visit, with the sales clerk loudly exclaiming that the photo drawer was a mess, and people's photos were loose in the drawer in no particular order. The Starbucks inside makes the shopping trip just a little more bearable. read more

This is our local Target and overall, it fits the bill. The store is clean, laid out just like any other Target, and the employees are always helpful and constantly stocking/restocking, organizing, etc. Parking is never a problem here, either. Target food prices are extremely competitive and if you use a Target card, you save 5% right off the bat. This definitely puts you as the consumer in a competitive advantage since Stop & Shop is nextdoor. In fact, I do half my grocery shopping at Target and the other half at S&S because of Target's awesome prices. But what I don't like about this particular Target is that it never seems as if they ever have enough cash registers open. In fact, I despise going here on the weekends because I wait an eternity in line. Honestly, I am surprised that no one else as particularly complained about this or mentioned it to management. Standard target here in Abington on route 123. They have a big parking lot and there is a Starbucks inside. Stop & Shop, Wendy's and Verizon have stores at this location too. The Target is usually clean. Checkout lines get a bit long at times but no major issues here that I've seen. read more

I LOOOOVE Target! If only they could put the Wal-Mart's out of business. Anytime I see a bulls-eye..I literally go into a shaking frenzy! Must get car off highway and get me some very cool dollar items, a squeeky toy for my dog, a really cool new outfit and a few horror DVD's for the weekend. Oh, how I love Target! This Target, especially! It's always soo clean and organized. Never over-packed and heeee heee..it's on the same street as Walmart.. They always have a great selection of items here. The Halloween aisles alone were packed!!! I'm gonna miss this target..because there will be a new Target opening 4 minutes from my house!! YAHOO!! Alright, I had somewhat of a terrible first experience here, sort of making my vision of the Abington Target not so great. Rich, the store manager, didn't seem to care about the store policies and going by them, and the employees didn't seem to help either. He gave me the Guest Relation phone number and told me to contact them. I was leery to do so, because I knew I was right about the policy he didn't go by, but really didn't want to deal with him again as he didn't handle the situation professionally (this was a price error, and by state law you are allowed to get one unit of the grocery item for free if it rings up at the cash register as the wrong price) like it is regularly handled by the Framingham or Milford Target locations. After a few weeks of on and off calls between corporate and management from this store, they really have shown how they act, in a great way. While Rich may be an ok store manager (he may do a good job keeping the store organized, but doesn't seem to have the best skills in handling situations with customers...), Pauline is the most friendly, helpful, down-to-earth, and just exceptional manager here! She made my experience absolutely amazing. At first I was going to post a 2-star rating, but after reaching out to Guest Relations and receiving a call back from her, I really found out how the Abington Target is. I haven't dealt with a more friendly, down-to-earth person, like Pauline in years. She is definitely an asset to the Target Company as a whole, and is the absolute best employee in the Abington store. Plus, the Abington store is much less busy than others and much more organized with a better stock than some of the other nearby stores (that being said, it comes at a cost of the store closing at 10pm daily rather than 11 or midnight, like at my local Targets). While she wasn't there during my first transaction, she really made the situation right and knows everything about handling customer service (plus she's been with Target for over ten years). What may not have been an ideal or good first experience, turned into a great second experience. Even though I normally make the trip to Milford and Framingham, I will definitely be stopping at the Abington store more often being that the customer service is on another level than other places. Definitely deal with Pauline if you have any issues whatsoever at this store, she is just so great! Located on Route 123 in Abington next to Stop&Shop. 5 stars. read more

This Target is close to my house but I tend to avoid it if possible. It is usually stocked pretty well, although their seasonal items tend to be later than other stores. The big problem I have here are the cashiers. I usually go earlier in the morning or afternoon and they have two registers open. The two older women who are cashiers here are so rude. They get so annoyed if you have coupons and to never say anything nice like thank you or have a nice day. They act like you're bothering them every time you go to their line. I tend to try to stick to self checkout but if I have a problem it's so hard to get somebody over to help. read more

This Target is still pretty brand spanking new. The employees here are nicer than what you find at Wal*Mart, and I like the khaki and maroon uniforms. It makes finding help so much easier. It's a big store, but easy enough to find everything you're looking for. The only small draw back is that the cell phone service is nonexistent here. I know ten years ago you had to go to a store with a list, but I'm spoiled by my cell phone and it's annoying when you can't use it when you forgot something. read more

Very annoying experience at guest services today. I ordered an item online, a scooter for my son. This Target is further away than my normal one but I made the extra trip out of my way because it said in stock and I got a confirmation that they filled my order. But I got there today only to be told it was out of stock so they gave me one that was "pretty much the same, I'm sure it's basically the same thing". They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me one that was more expensive than what I ordered. My son is barely 2 and was with me. The scooter they tried giving me without apology was for kids 3+. The lady did not seem to understand why this was a problem and just kept saying, but this one's more expensive and that it's probably the same thing basically. Gave me no option but to cancel the order and said I'd probably get an email confirming the cancellation. Cool, thx for no help whatsoever and not even an apology for making me go out of my way. They never should have "filled" this order and confirmed it if the item I specifically ordered was not there. read more

I am a regular at this Abington target store and I spend a lot of money here on a regular basis. Last night, may 15, 2018, I went to pick up a few things at the store with my two year old children when they both saw these balls they wanted. I bought them the balls and they were so excited they were playing with them as I finished checking out. Bothering no one at all, the older guy with the shirt and tie always by the registers started mumbling under his breath. When I started to listen he was cursing about my children who were playing with their new toys I just paid for and also saying stuff to other customers about my children. When I approached the man I got nothing but attitude. Before leaving the store I talked to the woman who was in charge that night and she immediately addressed the man who was extremely rude. If it were not for that very professional manager I would never spend another penny at another target again. I will find out both of their names because this store needs more employees like the manager and less like the very rude man working up front. read more

Like the store - LOVE the electronics department. I buy from there instead of Best Buy because the employees are consistently available and ready to help. They know their department very well. Best of all they understand multimedia connectivity issues and have a solution that lets you avoid spending hours on the phone with customer support. read more

Im giving this Target 2 stars only because I do find items here that I may not find at Abington Walmart, otherwise I would've given a one star rating. I first experienced HORRIBLE customer service a little over a year ago.... As I was in the children dept. and one of the employees greeted and asked another customer if she needed any assistance, however she did not ask me. I felt as though I was not worthy enough to receive the same courtesy. I am not transparent! I called the store to report the incident but the reply was simply that it will be "discussed" so that incidents like that do not take place. I was not satisfied! Majority of the time, the cashiers are not friendly or warm in my opinion. I also experienced some problems over not having a receipt that a cashier did not give me and I wanted money back from some items I purchased - frustrated, I simply just had to accept what POLICY allowed. I honestly have never experienced that at Walmart. I will only shop at this store if it's an EMERGENCY/LAST OPTION I HAVE... but you know what? I think rather drive all the way to the Randolph target.. it delivers a more welcoming atmosphere, unlike this target. Walmart will be my FIRST place to go to though...I rather give them my money. Overall, this target has definitely lost me as a longtime customer. read more
