If I could leave no stars, I would. The cashier/manager older Hispanic lady slid the door shut in my face as I was walking in at 9:59 to 10:00 PM. I understand the store closes at 10, but that is the most terrible, third-world customer service I have ever seen in the Palmetto Bay/Pinecrest area. This location is right on the corner of sw 112 & us1. It is easy to find and has adequate parking. The store is well organized and clean. Staff not so friendly, not terrible but definitely lacking on the customer service end. No drive thru at this location. read more

I will give zero stars to the unprofessional staff working here. I had to call manager on duty today to ask the current pharmacist who was "vaccinating someone in the room" to have her speed up process as she was sitting down just talking with the patient irrelevant stuff instead of doing her job which was vaccinate patient and move on with the next. Came here as my son needed his 2nd dose vaccine had an appointment at 4:15 pm and it is now 5 pm and I'm still waiting... only had one patient who was already in the room ready to get vaccine. The pharmacist, Sharon Martell's is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. Customers are there for their medicines and you are too lazy to check the 3 messages my doctor left in the last 14 hours. When her Uber eats got there. She said to the staff member I am leaving on my break 15 minutes early. I said please before your go check your voicemail - I been waiting for my medicine for 2 hours! She confirmed my doctor left message but "we don't have in stock" she never checked to see if she had it or had a generic version of it. If you need medicine... DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I should not even give this location 1 star. The pharmacy customer service is appalling!! Took both kids to urgent care tonight. The doctor sent a prescription to this location for the youngest (a 3 yr old) as it's less than .5 mile from the urgent care location. The doctor even sent my husband to pick it up ahead of the fax/call due the time (just after 8pm). After a 30 minute wait, he was told at 8:59pm that they would not be able to fill it because they were closing. The pharmacists and techs at this location are clearly not part of the medical professional community since they lack total compassion. Refused to fill a simple liquid prescription for zofran while a 3 yr old child lays in urgent care in need of the medication. And waited until one minute before closing to inform my husband that his 30 minute wait was pointless. Even the doctor at the urgent care could not believe this happened. Now, instead of being able to go home, we have to travel very far out of the way with a spontaneously vomiting child to pick up a medication that she needs tonight. There will be an email is on its way to corporate. This is not how people in the medical field who are supposed to be helping others should treat sick people, the parents of sick people, much less deny to fill a prescription for 3 yr. old still stuck in the urgent care waiting for her Daddy to return with the meds. Their gift card selection is extremely poor. CVS, just a few doors down, had twice the selection of gift cards and options.

Truly dislike this Walgreens. I get it isn't the best job in the world but walking in is always depressing now. There used to be one guy who was always very welcoming and friendly but I see he no longer works here. The staff isn't flat out rude to you but they barely look at you when you're paying. Just had to try to balance out the negativity bc this place is so fantastic! I love the way they never fail to greet customers!!! The cashiers are always friendly, the "beauty aisle" woman is super motivated...and the pharmacy staff goes over and beyond to assist customers. They are so friendly and helpful and I always see them working to resolve insurance issues or prescription problems or whatever complications might arise. I'm appalled at the level of service and pharmacy care.. my father in law went to get his rx filled at this Walgreens after his local publix unfortunately did not have it in stock. So he made a few calls and was able to find his meds available here. After he arrived and waited 40 minutes to get it, he was told abruptly by the pharmacist that she was not able to give him meds. She said that those pills do not interact well with others he takes. So she declined giving him his meds, my father in law explained that she was welcome to call his dr ( who's prescribed these for over 3 yrs) so he can give his ok, ( as he did in the publix pharmacy) she refused and basically made it her call to decide not to give my father in law his meds,. I feel that she did not make any effort in helping my sick father in law by refusing to give him meds he needs to take daily for his ongoing condition.. it's appalling to me that she took this as her call when I believe if his dr has prescribed those meds along with those she mentioned don't interact well with them, to him she had no right to decide what a person can or cannot take, Ive already written an email to Walgreens corporate office about this employees behavior which is truly appalling and very unlike the behavior of any other Walgreens pharmacy personnel.. please avoid coming to this Walgreens especially if you have a condition that you MUST take meds daily, ,, very disappointed read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in the 18 years I've been getting my prescriptions. The latest disaster with this pharmacy is that three weeks ago they told me they were out of my prescription and had to order it, that it would be in on tuesday. I can only pick things up on fridays or the weekend because of my schedule. So I came to pick it up on Saturday morning. They said they would fill it. Shortly after I left I got a call saying that they didn't have it. I asked them when they would have it, they said they would absolutely order it and it would come in on Tuesday or Wednesday. So I came in today thinking I would get the medication that I have now been off for 2 weeks and they pull the prescription from a huge wad of "return to customer" prescriptions and say they can't fill it because it's on back order. This is a prescription I need to take every day!!! They can't even call me to tell me that they couldn't order it?! This Walgreens is the seventh level of Hell. read more
