I occasionally come to do my brows here. Not because they do a bad job but just cause I don't have a lot of hair, it's pricey for no hair, and I go for mostly maintenance. Came here again looking for a brow clean up. It had been a minute and I hadn't even plucked my own eyebrows. So it was about that time. Went to the counter and asked for any available slots. The girl who was there took me right away telling me she was open. Wow. She did a great job. Really knows how to style brows and color them in. Not only did I get them cleaned up but she filled them in too. I was super satisfied with the service and for the way it looked. Thank you Nicole! Made an appointment a couple days before showing up. 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I received an email that my appointment had been canceled. Didn't receive a phone call or text or anything. I made another appointment for about an hour later and showed up. There was a sign at the desk that the aesthetician was out and will be right back. 40 minutes later and no one showed up. I will not be returning as these people don't have the decency to call or text if they are running late or unable to make it to an appointment. My appointment was at 4:30 and I arrived at the counter at 4:34 and the person i made an appointment with, Joshua, had either picked up another client or was still in the middle of one. I wasn't given the option to wait or told what was going on I was just taken care of by someone else. It was my first time there so I was confused and shy. Very disappointed that nothing was communicated to me and that he just passed me off to someone else since k had booked an appointment with him. My brows are ok. One is much sharper than the other. I have been getting my eyebrows done for 15 years and I have never experienced a burn. Vivian was my technician and seemed to be preoccupied with people who were walking by asking questions about the place and training a new employee. She skipped the eyebrow mapping step, which I know is routine for the brow bar, and just continued to layer on hot wax without removing it in a timely manner. I left there with red, raw, and extremely painful eyebrows. Following days lead to puffiness and scabbing. After being a costumer of the brow bar for years (different location) I will never return. I got my eyebrows done 2 days ago on Saturday. I am used to doing my brows at Benefit BrowBar in Las Vegas many times so I thought it would be the same. I was wrong. My brow was did by Jordan. It was painful getting brows done and I it was normal at first but then I noticed the bruises by my brows. Normal brow job would only caused redness and it would eventually go away but this redness and bruises been on for 2 days. I would not come back to this place again!! read more

Finding someone to do your eyebrows is tricky. Yeah, you could get it done at a nail salon for about $10, but it's impersonal, not very clean and they do the bare minimum. But not here! Robert was absolutely incredible! All the positive reviews are right about him. He is a master at shaping eyebrows, and pays attention to every client and their needs. He shaped, waxed, filled and highlighted my eyebrows to utter perfection. Yes, it's a little pricy than other places (mine was $21) but with his attention to detail, and how he made them look on "fleek," its definitely worth it. Just accompanied my girlfriend to have her brows done. Both attendants were chatting when we walked up at 2:40 pm; all chairs were visibly empty. However, they could not take care of us because "we have to got to lunch now at 3:00". A very classic example of how businesses fail. read more

I was at the stand for my 12:00 appointment confirmed the day before. When I arrived, there was nobody there. Waited for over 15 minutes, even going as far as asking two employees from other beauty stands if they knew if there was my workers that had arrived today. One of them was extremely nice, even going and calling a woman she knew that worked at the stand. She left a voicemail but was never answered. I ended up going to Eyebrow Design 21 in front of American Eagle. They did my brows for half the price of what I was originally going to pay at Benefit Brow Bar. They were all super wonderful, accepting walk-ins and asked me at every moment to check if I liked how my brows looked. I rate Benefit 1 star for the lack of professionalism. If nobody is going to be there, I'd appreciate it if they would cancel instead of making me waste my time. read more

I went to the the Benefit Brow Bar in Macy's with my sister hoping they'd take us as walk-ins on a busy Saturday and they did! I was really hesitant as I always am when trying a new eye brow place/person but I had nothing to lose soon I'd be leaving town and didn't mind growing them out again and finding a new place when I'd come back to town in December (if things went badly). But I digress, I had to wait a few minutes because they were busy but in the meantime one of the girls there cleaned and primed my face. After about 10 minutes or so I sat down with Lorena (very friendly lady) she "mapped out" the shape she'd give me and I ok-ed it. They do apply a lot of product to fill in and find your shape.. don't freak out. In the end Lorena cleaned it up and I went from Martin Scorsese brows to Kim Kardashian brows. I highly recommend her and my sister's eyebrow lady (Karla). My sister had hairy caterpillars for brows and now she looks like a lady. I highly recommend this place and before I left I was sure to make an appointment! (P.S. it costs $20 for the brow shaping) read more

Never in my life have I been so in love with my eyebrows than I am now. I visited the brow bar as a walk in hoping to see Robert. A friend of mine mentioned how happy she had been with two different techs at this brow far. Last time I did my brows was a few months so I was skeptical, but I needed it so I figured I would give it a go. Lorena attended me. She's very nice, she listened to my concerns and to my brow preferences. All I can say is WOW. she is a brow queen. My brows look full, even, and angled. Now, giving this place one stars although I wasn't able to even try it. I pretty much got stood up by them. I made an appointment online through yelp at 8:10PM for the next day at 12:30 in the afternoon. Now, I work nights so to get up at that time to do my eyebrows, that's something serious. I got there on time, and NO ONE was there. I even tried calling and I watched the phone ring because I was hoping it was connected to someone's personal phone but NOPE. I would've even waited an extra 15-20 minutes if they would've just told me they were running late. But, no one answered. I went next door to ask the lady if she knows what was going on and she said no, that someone should've been there by now. I explained to her I had an appointment. She called management to see what was going on. Management got a hold of the people and they said they weren't going to make it today. OKAY. So, atleast send an email out or notify the person you guys can't make it. This was very unfortunate due to the fact that I wanted to try it. Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's is AMAZING. I cannot recommend it enough. I have gotten my eyebrows done at Benefit Brow Bars in San Francisco, Boston, Miami and Dallas and no matter where, you consistently get great service and great brows. I mainly get my brows done here with Robert. He is friendly, attentive and genuinely cares about his clients. I always leave with my eyebrows consistently on-point--filled, highlighted and everything. He takes his time to make sure your brows are perfect. My only qualm is that they don't honor appointments well. There have been times where I have made my appointment on the dot/early and whoever I am scheduled with has seated someone in the chair without regard to the schedule. This is frustrating because it has left me sitting there for up to 30 minutes at a time. They don't really seem to care either--everyone who works there in general is very passive about customer service. They also only do cash tips so make sure you bring some money! read more

Came in not knowing what to expect.. I made a appointment online I picked Mariel randomly. When I came in the people were very nice and attentive. I was helped by Mariel very quickly as I came in. Well let me say that she is AMAZING not only is she super sweet and attentive she got my eyebrows looking AMAZING.. she really has a talent for it. I've gotten my eyebrows done by Mariel twice now and it has completely changed my look for the better. Impossible to get an appointment, never seen anything like it! They definitely lost a costumer & my referrals. When i was there buying products they where so helpful because i was spending $$$ on products? They accommodated me and fit me in for eyebrows now i've called several times during the week and weekend and there eye brow technicians are either always at lunch or booked???? Really, all 3-4 times i've called even Monday's at 2:00, they are either short staffed or turning customers that call away!!
