I have been coming to get my eyebrows done here for around 1-2 years now. It is located on the first floor of dadeland mall right next to Nordstrom across from the e-bar. They have self parking for free around the mall, in garages, or have valet parking too. I personally like to park in the back parking lot by Macy's. I cross through Macy's (has elevator and escalator access) to get there. They do threading for eyebrows here, along with other facial areas like above the lips, waxing, facials, and henna tattoos. Walk-ins are accepted for all services, except for hennas, I believe those need an appointment! If there is a wait then there is a paper you can sign your name in and they call your name based on who arrived first. I can honestly say that I've only had to wait maybe only two times that I've been going. There is a small couch in the corner to sit and wait at. There are four seats available for threading. It's a pretty small, clean, updated, and cozy business. Their service is great. I've gone with multiple of their staff and have been satisfied 90% of the time. If you want them to be cautious with a specific area like me, just let them know before they start and they will do so. You pay at the end of the session and they accept credit cards and cash (tips can be left on CC also). I'd definitely recommend coming here for your eyebrow threading! read more

I think this place is the perfect combo of quality for an inexpensive price. I have been coming here every few months for a couple years now. I usually see the same lady, and I have never had to wait more than five minutes. $12 for the eyebrow threading! Cheaper than most places in the area. The threading process itself is quick- about five minutes or less. It is quite painful for me, but it doesn't take too long, so I don't mind. My eyes tear uncontrollably EVERY time, but I love the way my eyebrows look after. Much more *on fleek* than tweezing. I will say threading does cause the region around my brow to breakout for a couple days after since your hair follicles are exposed. This is my go to place for eye brow threading. I really like how Samir does my threading. She always asks questions about what type of result I'm looking for. It's a fairly quick process (about 10 minutes tops). Not all employees consult and just go into the threading process so you have to make sure to speak up and say what it is you're looking for. I have really sensitive skin so my skin appears red afterwards but it goes away within a few minutes. They take appointments but the majority of people just walk in and wait. The wait isn't very long. They offer other services but I can only vouch for the eyebrow threading. read more

The older lady with the scarf and glasses did a good job shaping my eyebrows, but lack that care that most places have like if your eyes start tearing up like crazy. How hard is it to offer a tissue if the box is right there. Also at the end she only did a half ass job at cleaning all the hair on my face. They do a really nice job on thick eyebrows, however I feel that they need to be a little more gentle. I happend to go in this week and it was a little busy my eyebrows got threaded and cleaned in less than 5 mins. Nothing wrong happend with the threading my only complaint was with the tweezers. Apparently the lady most have been in a major hurry she plucked the remaining hairs hard and grabed some of the skin on my eyelid I wanted to give them a second chance since the same happend on my first but same issue. So if you happen to go warn them to slow down when using tweezers. read more

I walked on after I had been recommended the place by a woman that worked in the Sheido Macy's stand. I had arrived to get my brows threaded at Benefit Brow Bar but nobody arrived. After waiting almost 20 minutes, we decided to go here. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly, and they accepted our walk in immediately. My eyebrow lady, Asia, was an absolute sweetheart. She walked me through all the steps and was constantly asking if I was ok with what she was doing. The threading lasted a total of about 5-7 minutes. When I saw the results I knew I had to recommend this place to more people. They were gorgeous!!! Apart from the amazing service, they cost me half of what they would have costed at Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's. The lady threaded off hair from my originals eyebrows and immediately went "opps" and proceeded to hand me a mirror and say you had no hair there you had a scar...."okay." I went in while there for a clean up while there was no line and the lady completely left my eyebrows looking like two mosquito legs. I asked her to fix it and give me an arch the second time and it still came out horrible. There was nothing else to fix but she literally took off all my eyebrows and I have thick eyebrows. I've been threading my eyebrows every two weeks at various locations since I was 13 years old. I came here one day to get my eyebrows done and I saw that there were a lot of people waiting. Regardless of that, they were somehow able to get me in in 3 minutes. I found out why: It was because the eyebrow ladies thread ferociously and quickly. Eyebrow threading has never hurt me and it was agonizing this time. When she was finished I was bleeding from my eyelid!!! The eyebrow lady said it was because I had sensitive skin? What does that mean? You cut my EYELID, not the area around my eyebrows. As it was bleeding, she didn't even mention it, I had to point it out myself even though it was obvious. I payed and left but my experience was clearly the worst and the lady was uncaring and rough. As it was my eyelid, I was bleeding from there for two days. I won't be returning. read more

Visited this threading station as part of my search for a new threading salon after moving to Kendall. Was sorely disappointed. I walked in about 8:30 on a Saturday night, and waited about ten min. Highly aware of my surroundings when I visit a new beauty place, I observed the two people who were being serviced before myself: One of the clients was having a fierce discussion with her beautician (wouldn't go as far as to say argument, but they were definitely debating back and forth) about the outcome of her brows. Couldn't see them for myself, and also didn't want to snoop too much into every single word, but she was definitely not pleased with the shape. Uh oh, bad sign number one. The second client directly in front of me was done by the same beautician who ended up doing my eyebrows, who was also the person acting as receptionist. She (the beautician) seemed pretty unsure of herself, and actually didn't come over until about 5 min later of noone becoming available (hate to say this, but in my experience with nearly every salon i've been to, unless it's the proprietor, then that's never been a great sign in terms of skill). Anyways, I watched her every move since I was waiting in the chair next to her, and she threaded very slowly but not with any high level of precision. To be honest, that girl's eyebrows looked exactly the same as when she came in; And based on her facial expression in the mirror at the end, it seems she felt the exact same way. Bad sign number two. Now it's my turn, and me and the beautician exchange words about my eyebrows being thin and doing them in a way that won't hamper future growth, yaddi yaddi yah. She does my brows, then my upper lip, with the same kind of slow (NOTE: I will concede that in threading, slow doesn't automatically mean bad) and sadly not exact precision (she actually missed my upper lip's skin several times and ran the thread over my actual mouth). At the end, I sit myself up and stand up to look at a mirror, and also had to ask for aloe (I normally expect to be offered a hand mirror, and at the very least aloe, I know it's a mall suite, but c'mon it's the little things..) ANYWAYS long story short my eyebrows look exactly the same as if I tweezed them myself. No definition or shaping whatsoever. Not even my eyebrow brush at home has given them any form of above average appeal. On closer inspection at home I also see that a huge amount of hairs have been left on my upper lip, and were actually just broken off half way instead of pulled at the root. Next time, I'll take my $20 and I'll make the drive up to Shoppes at Pembroke to visit Jehan (Brow Obsession) - My brows will look amazing and I can get gelato in one trip. read more

This is only my 2nd time threading my eyebrows. I cried this time too! Well, not really but close. It just feels so different and my eyes watered. Not crying tears just pain tears. Is there a difference? I sort of prefer the quick pain of wax but I really hate what it does to my skin. Especially after this one crazy lady that literally scarred me. But I digress.
