Rapid wax is a great place to fix your eyebrows. If you are coming to have some sort of relaxing time this is not the place for you. When you come in sometimes you are greeted and others you are not. Normally I walk in sign in and have a seat. This is not a spa or anything relaxing but I continue to come here because it is within my budget and they always do a decent job with my eyebrows. When you walk in they have an ipad that you fill out and put your information. You have a seat and your name pops up on a queue. Normally there are at least two people waxing at any given time so it normally doesn't take too long. However I have had times that it has taken about an hour or so. I used to have a lady I went to regularly but she moved. So now I use whomever. I go here just to have my eyebrows waxed but they have multiple services. I wish I could love this place but their customer service is really so bad. The only thing that saves them is that they are willing to call you when it is your turn to have your eyebrows done and you decided to walk around the mall. I've been coming here for a long, long time and every time I go back, I question why I still go there. I will now proceed to rant about the customer service..... Absolute worst customer service in any given business in Miami. WORST. Not one time have I come in here or seen other people coming in and been greeted nicely. You come in and are given a dirty look/attitude. It's obvious that the employees just do not want to work. Yes, this place only has Latina girls working. It's never been a big deal to me because I speak Spanish but if you don't speak Spanish -- you're out of luck, and expect to be treated with the absolute worst attitude. They may also take advantage of you -- just yesterday, there was a woman who was likely from the middle east and didn't speak Spanish. She put her name down on the waiting list and sat patiently for her turn. One of the employee's friends came in and the employee told her friend (in Spanish, so that the waiting middle-eastern woman wouldn't understand) that she would do her eyebrows first before taking the lady who was actually waiting and up next. Excuse me? HORRIBLE. This is NOT the first time I have seen something like this happen here. Nearly every time I go, one of the "friends" come, and without having to wait, they sneak her in and do her eyebrows before everyone else in line. How completely unprofessional. While doing your eyebrows, the employees will be gossiping and chit-chatting with the other girls who work there. They will answer their personal phones, text, say hello and gossip with their friends who pass by, etc. The wait times are also ridiculous. I've waited 30 mins, 45 mins, one hour, and even TWO HOURS. Knowing that the wait is long, they don't even bother to tell you how long the wait will be. They never apologize for the long waits or anything else for that matter. This business is run terribly -- at obvious peak times, they will have only two women working. It boils my blood. The only reason I gave them an extra star is because some of the employees - namely Sara, Rosa, and Lissy (I believe she is no longer there) - really do do a good job. They have managed to fixed my eyebrows when someone else had done them really badly. I guess that's why I keep coming back. But the customer service is just sooo bad, that it takes away from any good job they do. Oh and $15 for eyebrow waxing - yeah, expensive. But this placed is always packed, meaning they have a lot of business - so unfortunately, this will probably never change its horrible ways. read more

I've been doing my eyebrows with them for 8 years. There used to be this young girl named Carla who I loved! She was so friendly and always greeted me with a smile. Her work was phenomenal. I loved having my eyebrows done by her. Lately every time I go I leave hating my eyebrows. I haven't stuck with one person since Carla left hoping to find someone there that will do as great as her. If you're looking to get them done and shopping this is a great place. The time is reasonable and there is no way they could majorly mess up your eyebrows since they use stencils. I would say give them a try, you might get lucky. But I wouldn't go out of my way to have the service done by them. Edit : 10-10-14 I went today and I vow to never return again. I came in today for eye brow wax - clean up. I have came here before and Marie has done my eyebrows. I've never had a complaint with her she's great and knows what she is doing but another lady took me because she mentioned to me Marie is off because she recently had her baby. So I went with her. They have glass wall &u can clearly see the high stool and ppl getting waxed. $12.00 for brow wax. This is place is small and often crowded, however I come here for a specific specialist named Sara. She's the only person I trust with my eyebrows. In fact, I believe she's the only person a lot of women trust with their eyebrows. I say this because there is a sign in sheet upon arrival and it lets you write down the specialist you would like to wait for .... She's the only person down the list! I told her she's like Lebron. Seriously, if you come here to do your eyebrows. I recommend the location and I specifically recommend Sara as well. Aside from that another reason I frequent this place is Because they use a stencil as eyebrow makeup first before using wax. I can't believe the horrible service! I live right near the Falls mall and thought this would be a convenient place for me to get my eyebrows done and my upper lip waxed . The first time I walked in to this place it was a weekend a Saturday and it was busy as expected, but also what's expected is if you know there is going to be a weekend please staff enough people to accommodate the traffic. It was disorganized no one at the front desk to take down names and women were packed like a can of sardines all the Way up to the door. I stayed because I figured all these women wouldn't be here for no reason. I waited for about 20 minutes when I realized the line wasn't moving and there was a list that they were calling off of Half the women in the room didn't sign so no one knew who was first or last! What a mess! So I finally left. Bushy eyebrows and all. But you know that was a Saturday and it was busy. The second time I went was a Sunday night I had no time all week to go get my eyebrows threaded like I usually do at the Dadeland mall decided to try this place again I walked up to the door at 6:37pm. They close on Sunday night at 7 PM. There was no one really in there so I thought well they could take care of me before they closed right ? no wrong. As soon as I walk in I realize that they've taken all the bags out of the trash and there was a woman with the mop in the front. I looked at my time again to make sure that It wasn't closing time yet, and then I asked her if I could get my eyebrows done. For a good minute she stared at me -then made a point to stare at the bags of trash -at her mop -and then looked back up at me as if waiting for me to say something . she then finally conceded and told me to go up to the front desk.( but I could tell she really didn't want me to but it was an emergency and I really needed them done!) I walk up to the front desk and they're about four women wiping down and putting change away, again I ask if I can get my eyebrows done they all gave me the same look that the first one gave me as if I'm an idiot. I had enough of the attitude and walked out! Your storefront sign says you close at 7 PM not a minute earlier the mall was still filled with people! as I walked out, I paused to return a text to a friend , saw another woman try to walk up to rapid wax ,only for the woman with the mop to hurriedly come out and say sorry were closed and lock the door in her face, 6:40 PM! Misleading: They haven't updated the prices on their website for maybe more than a year. For example, it says $24 for a brazilian wax but it is actually $30 and it DOESN'T include the butt strip which is an extra $15. I love rapid wax at the falls I forgot which lady I go to but she is the sweetest! I was near the airport so I decided to go to the rapid wax at international mall.... STAY AWAY!!! I don't remember who the lady was but she chopped off a chunk of my eye lashes!!!! She was chatting up a storm with her coworkers and must have been distracted because somehow she snipped off part of my EYELASHES!!!! I didn't notice until I got in the car and did my makeup! If you've been on the hunt for natural & full looking eyebrows - look no further. A girlfriend of mine took the initial plunge, the finished product was awesome! I walked in on an early Friday afternoon and was helped immediately. They offer a henna tint for brows which go a lot further than just darkening the hair, it gives your brows a full but natural look. The whole process was about 30 minutes: first they trim, then they do customized shaping with a stencil & fill in the shape with powder, next they wax the unwanted hair, after little touch ups & tweeze, they add the henna oil. The formula is generously layered on brows & given about 15 minutes to dry. Then the excess is brushed & wiped off - voila! This is by far the Most Horrible place to go get your eyebrows done. They don't deserve not one star! I left the place with gaps and long hairs on my eyebrows. The lady Maritza sold me a story trying to convince me that I had to go back in a few weeks, instead of fixing my eyebrows. I was forced to go to the threading place close by to get my brows fixed. I called and spoke to the Manager Rosa explaining my situation and she only advised me to come back and get them fix... after I had explained to her that I had went somewhere else to get them fixed. Every single time I come here, I just get so angry, stressed, anxious, impatient, and frustrated! I feel like I have stepped into a little shack in Cuba. These people don't talk English, they leave you standing there waiting for service. They don't care about delivering proper/professional service here. They sit in front of the store on the bench an talk on their cell and eat chips while the place is packed inside and only leave one or two employees working. They tend to be rude, especially if you don't speak Spanish, they like to ignore you or treat you bad. They always have a problem with their sign in sheet. People don't see it and just assume they are next and sit down to wait while someone new comes in and signs and they call that person and that's when the show forms and they lose their customers. The employees don't inform you to sign sheet and definitely don't greet and welcome you. The work they do is inconsistent. One week it's fine, next it's different, next they do it skinnier and skinnier and uneven. $18?? Your crazy! For these immigrants to spit in your face, talking to their co workers out loud and across the room about their weekend and answering personal cell phone calls while they wax your eyebrows? read more

I visited this place approximately two weeks ago. I REALLY needed my eyebrows waxed/arched. I live near the Dadeland Mall (within walking distance). Before I decided to go to this place, I checked out the reviews on Yelp & Google...I believe YP too. The one commenter on here who stated that they needed to update their prices on their website was accurate, what they have on their site is different then what they have in store. I went on a Sunday and there were teenagers working the front; at least they appeared to be teenagers. The young lady asked me if I had any particular person that I wanted to do my eyebrows. I stated no, that I would have to find out who's good or bad by receiving services from the place a few times. She then escorted me to one of their rooms & asked me to have a seat & wait for the next available person......and that is when I saw it, their wax bowl (or whatever that thing is called that holds/heats wax). The wax bowl was FULL of hair in it. All types of hair, all shades, colors, lengths. DISGUSTING & filthy. Needless to say, I ran out of there before receiving any services. Nobody even asked why I was leaving or noticed. I didn't want to catch ANYTHING from that bowl lol. I'm sure the place is a decent establishment but they really should have mature & professional ADULTS working in there to monitor the actions of some of these reckless, careless & inexperienced teenagers. Wow I'm so confused by all the negative reviews! I actually really like rapid wax for my eyebrows, they use a stencil so it's kind of hard for them to mess it up... I myself am terrible at doing my own eyebrows so I fully rely on this place to take care of my brows, lol. I usually go Friday's on my way back from school and I always pay cash cause I hate leaving tip on my card for services provided. I've never had a problem I always show up put my name on the list and sit, I never pick a specialist I usually leave it up to fate cause I prefer speed! I've never been disappointed they've all been really nice, efficient and quick. I've brought people with me to do their eye brows and now they are loyal rapid waxers. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because sometimes it's not the cleanest of places (not the tools they use that's clean! I always check) like the floor and the walls and sometimes the front desk is messy. Other than that I'm a fan! They have a punch card and I think you get like the 10th wax free or something idk I never use it cause I always lose them and I'm not going to carry a punch card around, but if you're into bargains, that's a nice touch!
