However, the place is pricey, even for basic designs they were +$25 (set in the system so they cant adjust). I was spending over $200 for my refill plus basic design and gel pedi. The receptionists dont communicate with the techs--I had two services done incorrectly because they didnt tell them what I booked (or the tech assumed/changed my service on their own idk). My acrylic fills would lift or pop off like a press on the week I got them done. Never would last 3 weeks, had constant breaking and hurting my nails underneath. They were not curing them to the nail properly. Each time they would charge me for the new nail an extra $10 so it was adding up when it was their fault for bad application. They set me up with the master tech when I told them what was happening. They said she would figure out what happened and they would do my next fill half off. I thought that was reasonable so I gave it one more shot. They never told me what had been done wrong. I had half my nails still intact when I showed up expecting a fill but they said they would do an entire new set acting like they were doing me a favor for the bad set, but charged me more again at the end instead of what we spoke about --also making my appointment longer than I expected. Ive tried so many salons and was hoping it would be the one, but that last appointment made me not want to come back.

I feel like I'm 2 weeks in on a Botox appointment. I got some of the vitamin c products she recommended too for my dark spots. I loved every service I got, but what I loved most of all is how it felt to be there. I emailed the corporate office and someone finally responded that the discount code had expired. I attempted to explain that the code never worked so the discount should be honored anyways, but to no avail. Also, I recently noticed that your packages are only redeemable at one location which is an inconvenience since I frequent 2 locations, near my home and near my job in Broward. Specifically stated, both on the phone AND in text, that I wanted "either waves and half up/half down, or a simple up do, like a low bun". I was told that was fine. I was under the impression that BOTH a makeup artist and a hair stylist would be at the salon. I was texted the day prior, to confirm my appt. The appt. time they texted me was wrong (10 am instead of 2 pm), but then said it wouldn't be a problem to keep my original time I had booked. The owner of the salon is who did my makeup. She was friendly, and didn't oblige to fixing anything I had asked (eyebrows were uneven, lip liner was 10 shades darker than the lipstick, etc). I would rate the makeup 3/5 stars, if you need your makeup done in a crunch, I wouldn't not go here. Now comes the part that received 0/5 stars, the hair. The lady "doing hair" blow dried my already dry hair (AHHH BREAKAGE). She then proceeded to put curlers in for 0.5 seconds, and take them out immediately (not sure the point of that). She threw my hair back with a rubber band (an actual plastic rubber band), and after messing with it for a few minutes, said that "my hair was too thin to do a bun". Ok, I have had my hair done in a bun 10X for weddings, and have never heard this. After I mentioned that, she said "she only does waves, no up dos". WHAT!!! I was livid, I specifically asked about a low bun, and was told it could be done. By this point I realized this wasn't a hair stylist, maybe she was a friend of the owner who was "helping out", or needed cash, but she was NOT a hair stylist. In ANY sense of the word. After a mini panic attack, I agreed to do waves and half up/half down (no other option, apparently). Even this was a struggle for her. I had to show her how to put half up, and she managed to put the entire bottle of hairspray on my hair, and left every single Bobby pin showing. My hair was a mess. As it was evident I was frustrated, the owner had the nerve to come over and show me our text message conversation. As I pointed out, look, I even said "low bun", she said yes, but look, you also said simple. If a low bun isn't simple, I don't know what is. She didn't charge me for the hair, thankfully, but I just was very upset about my hair for an important wedding, and agitated with the response from the salon. Bottom line, if you need your hair done for an event, do NOT COME HERE!!! Save your $$, there are plenty of other places in Miami to get it done (and the other alternative of doing it yourself, is still better than coming here).

When I first came to this business (on a holiday) I was there without an appointment and in a hurry to get a hair cut for a business trip on following day and only the owner Melinda was there as other employees had already left. While I was satisfied with how my nails ultimately looked, quality is only one part of a salon experience. Time and customer service matter too. Four hours for hands and feet is essentially half of a workday, in addition to the cost of the services. I arrived with a damaged toenail and specifically asked if that could be addressed first because it was my main concern. What was especially frustrating was that after already being there for hours, I was asked to wait even longer while the technician cleaned her station before I could leave. I contacted the salon privately before posting a review because I have been a loyal customer and wanted to give them an opportunity to address my concerns. Their explanation was that I had booked with a "regular master" rather than a "Top Master," that technicians work at different speeds, and that their policy does not allow refunds for completed services. I understand that technicians have different levels of experience and that a damaged nail can require additional attention. However, if booking with a regular master can potentially turn a manicure and pedicure into a four-hour appointment, I believe clients should be made aware of that when booking. I wasn't asking them to pretend the nail work was bad--it wasn't. I was asking them to recognize that the overall experience and excessive amount of time were not reasonable. After being a repeat customer, I expected a more meaningful effort to make the situation right. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my time and loyalty were simply not valued.
