We came in as a group of 3 for a special occasion, and not only did they easily accommodate our schedule, they did it with grace, organization, and a warm smile at every turn. The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous--chic, modern, and impeccably clean--but what truly sets Bloom Bar apart is its attention to detail. Each nail tech took their time with us, ensuring every cuticle was perfect, every design flawless, and every request met with care.     Do yourself a favor and go to BLOOMBAR, you will be thanking me later. The team at Bloombar is gracious, professional, and highly skilled at their art. Every nail design I present them with, they turn into a reality! I truly enjoy how you can go with any nail tech and leave smiling ear to ear! Also, the techs are trained to skillfully remove the hard gel with a drill without any damage to your natural nails. This means no more waiting around with acetone on your nails and skin! (Acetone around the cuticle area for prolonged time makes my skin look so dry and wrinkly, yuck!) my nails and skin always look perfect when I leave Bloombar. I just love it here!     Love this place. The service is really good and I have had no bad experiences with the nail techs. Also great prices! The place is also cute and has good vibes. I get the jell overlay (and refills) and regular pedicures. They also offer a variety of tasty bevies.

    Terrible, she cut my skin and I started bleeding for 2 hours and she started putting diffrent types of chemicals to try to stop the bleeding (which didn't work) 1/10 experience

    Top tier quality service and results!! I am from the St. Louis area, but everytime I come into town I HAVE to stop by and be serviced at Bloombar. The aesthetic of the salon is very calm, soothing, and sophisticated. The hospitality from entrance to exit is incredible. Today, I was offered fresh cookies and hot tea. The nail techs are so skilled and charismatic. They've nailed every design I've shown them to perfection! I always leave feeling like every need was met and that I got exactly what I asked for. I cannot wait to come back!!

    Tried them again for a gel mani and was very pleased. I had originally scheduled an evening appointment but was called and was able to get in earlier. This time I was much more comfortable; I got to go to a back room instead of sitting at the counter. Mary was efficient without sacrificing quality and service. And the color was beautiful!

    Edit// After writing this, a separate owner reached out to me and apologised for the entire situation, I was told this should have never happened in the first place and given a full refund. I hope in my next visit I don't run into any issues as I do like the final nails I walked out with. I know this is a new salon so I wish the best that they get things running much much smoother, as this was not. If I attend again with no issues, I would feel comfortable rating this higher for sure. I went to this place today, as a walk in, and the experience started extremely well. However, I originally asked for gelx or dip with tips and was convinced to do 'gel builder' because it would be better for my nails, I showed a photo multiple times of long almond nails that I said I wanted, and it was not explicitly stated that 'gel builder' would not be including length add on. Generally an overlay is stated as an overlay, and anything including the word 'builder' would build on to length, like a polygel. They were also referred to as a set when I asked about pricing, and a set of nails refers to tips. Immediately, the nail tech and receptionist began choosing colors for the nail design, that I ensured and asked explicitly if they could do. The colors that were chosen were not nearly as vibrant as the photo, but I was ensured they would look more similar to the photo when the design was on my nails. About an hour into the service(which was extremely painful, and I have never experienced pain even close to that level from a nail service), I was asked by the nail tech if my nails were good, they has no length added and they were square. I was confused and the receptionist was brought over again. She apologised and said she didn't realise I didn't know 'gel builder' didn't add length, however I was told there was nothing I could do because the overlay was already done. The owner was brought into the conversation and I asked again if I could still add tips, I was told that it would ruin my nails but it was possible if I paid for BOTH SERVICES. I have been to many nail salons and I have NEVER been asked to pay for two separate services, especially if one service was not even completed, as the color was never added on. I was told if I wanted to start from scratch I would need to pay for the gel builder, soak off(of the gel builder), gelx, and my design-- totalling to around $150, when I was originally told my total would be much less than $100. I felt like I had no choice, as I had already wasted an hour of my time, and do not have a car to easily move to a new nail salon, so I begrudgingly agreed. However, I don't feel I should have been put into this situation in the first place, especially as the gel builder service was described very vague and incorrectly. The gelx set was done well but when the color started getting added, it still did not look anything like the photo. It was a much more muted, neutral tone. I was getting "aura nails", and when the inside color was being added, it was not visible as the contrast between the colors did not pop. I ended up switching the color, that was chosen for me originally, again, and the entire time I felt laughed at by many of the staff members for how specific I was being. But I was paying $150 at this point, so there was no chance I would leave with nails I did not like. Overall, I do not dislike the nails I ended up with, but the customer service is not good, and the price was insane for what I got. I should not be expected to pay over double what I was quoted because the new service promoted to me was not explained correctly. My nails also do not look anything like the photo, color wise, so I would not recommend going to this place if you have a specific set in mind. I was given a 20% discount because they felt bad I had to pay more, but my total still ended up, before tip and tax, well over $100. And I was also told the discount was allowed because I was a student, so I am still unsure if I should have been offered this discount from the start. The staff definitely wanted me to like the final product, and allowed me to give input, but I can't get over the fact that I paid for two seperate sets because the first one was not described to me correctly. I maybe could have asked further about this, but I couldn't tell if I was overthinking how outlandish it was until I told other friends about it, that also had mirror experiences being pushed into trying gel builder at this specific nail lounge.

    Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came in for a routine fill like I had in the past. After a week, I noticed under my nail was bright green. It turns out I had a "greenie" caused by moisture getting under the acrylic due to an improperly filled acrylic. When I went in to show them and let them know because I was very alarmed, they were extremely defensive and rude. I came in simply to get a better understanding of what it was and for other people's safety. They completely tried to blame it on me and said I hit my nail and how it happens all the time. I hope this doesn't happen all the time at their salon because that would be very unsanitary and disgusting. I will not be returning.

I called right away, but they had already closed. I tried again the next day (Sunday) and they were closed as well. On Monday morning, I called again and the owner told me to come in at 2 PM. She was already rude and unapologetic on the phone, but I brushed it off. When I arrived, they told me the issue was likely due to bad polish and asked me to pick another color. I asked if they had something similar so I wouldn't have to redo the color on my feet, but after looking, they said they didn't and told me I needed to choose a new shade. I agreed and thanked them for helping. Once they finished, they told me I would need to pay to change the color on my feet. I explained that I only changed it because they didn't have anything that matched what they originally used. At that point, the owner AND the two nail techs became extremely rude and even insulting. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I highly suggest you steer clear of this place. Horrible service.

From the moment I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The spa, founded in 2004 by Maribelle Rodriguez, has grown into a serene and beautifully maintained space that offers far more than I expected. Known for its excellence in haircare, skincare, massages, manicures/pedicures, and advanced facial treatments, Maribelle Day Spa truly lives up to its stellar reputation in the Miami wellness scene. I brought ErikaB along so we could do brunch afterward, and we both were impressed right from the entrance. The spa is more spacious than it appears from the outside, and the atmosphere is both tranquil and elegant. We were warmly greeted by Silvie, Maribelle's sister, who works the front desk. What really caught me off guard in a good way, was that she greeted me by name before I even introduced myself. Alfredo must've painted a pretty clear picture of me (Thanks, Alfredo!). That personal touch set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional visit. HORATIO has years of experience working in top-tier salons and even worked in the 1990s under Samy Suarez, the legendary "hair guru to the stars" in Miami. His expertise showed. But…read morethis time I needed a hairdresser, mine that I had for many years, decided to go into another business. I wear a non common hair color called Light Plum that is only available at Sally's. Before making my appointment, I went in person to the salon & spoke to the owner, showed him what I wanted & he called Yadria, one of the colorist/ stylist & asked her if she can do my hair, she said yes! I came prepared with the box of the hair color tube that has the brand's name, name of color & color #. Told her that I get it from Sally's, she said yes, so I proceeded to make an appointment for the following week, giving her time to purchase the color. My appointment date came, & was greeted by receptionist & Cary that was waiting for me, she did my nails first & as always, I was very pleased with her work! Then went to Yandra that after greeting me told me that she went to Sally's near her, but they didn't have the color. Instead, she purchased another brand & different color from the hair supply next door on the same day that I was scheduled, she told me that later on. She gave an option; wait for her to get the color or take a chance with the one that she purchased. I had lots of gray showing, & by looking at the hair color box, it kind of resembled to mine. The procedure started, just by looking at the color I knew it was NOT similar to my color at all, she told to wait until the process is completed & my hair is washed. Another lady washed my hair & when I went I looked in the mirror I knew that was NOT what I wanted, it turned out way to light, plus part of my gray wasn't covered! I expressed my dissatisfaction & a coworker came to me with the hair color chart, she showed me several colors & pointed to one that she thought will resembled to my color. At this point, I was very upset, couldn't stay with the color that Yandra applied, so once more I agreed to have a 2nd color put on my hair. While Yandra was putting the color I noticed shades of red, I definitely didn't want that , I have been wearing red for a long time. My hair was washed & blow dried a bit, & I realized that again, it WAS NOT my color & NOT what I wanted, I previously shower a pic of my hair right after colored. I also told her that I needed a trim, she hardly cut any hair & apologized saying that she's not confortable working with brands that she doesn't know. I just let her blow dry my hair, I just wanted lo leave! I went to pay my bill, for Cary was the usual & left a $10.00 tip that receptionist promised to give to her tomorrow. My bill for the color fiasco was $115.00, my hair is short & very thin. I left her a$20.09 tip anyway & $5.00 for the girl that washed my hair, then I waked out almost in tears. Needles to say that I won't be coming back. I felt kind of disrespected, I was a new customer, Yandra could have been more attentive to my request in order to satisfy me by purchasing the right color! If the Sally's that she went didn't have the color, there are plenty of Sally's that she could have gone, even easier, order the color from the store she went, but apparently she didn't take the time to do so for her new customer.
