I want to share my experience at this nail salon. I went in to get my nails done, and about an hour after leaving, the polish began bubbling and chipping. I called right away, but they had already closed. I tried again the next day (Sunday) and they were closed as well. On Monday morning, I called again and the owner told me to come in at 2 PM. She was already rude and unapologetic on the phone, but I brushed it off. When I arrived, they told me the issue was likely due to bad polish and asked me to pick another color. I asked if they had something similar so I wouldn't have to redo the color on my feet, but after looking, they said they didn't and told me I needed to choose a new shade. I agreed and thanked them for helping. Once they finished, they told me I would need to pay to change the color on my feet. I explained that I only changed it because they didn't have anything that matched what they originally used. At that point, the owner AND the two nail techs became extremely rude and even insulting. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I highly suggest you steer clear of this place. Horrible service. read more

I came here for an event i have at night. I wanted to get french, originally. But i had a bad feeling they wouldn't know how to do a good french so i requested white they gave me funny bunny and i hate funny bunny like hate it i never asked for it and i dont want that color. She did a terrible job my nails look bumpy and bad painted. The manager here or the boss idk what she is has a stank ass face with everyone and looks very judgy (shes one to be judging) mind you i asked for white multiple times like i asked very nicely im very polite and im never rude but honestly this place just pmo. Especially coming from a nail techs eyes they did a terrible job and i will never ever come back. They gave me a 2 second massage i guess its cuz its Saturday and theyre in a rush to leave because they close at 4 again overall -1000000/10 because it was honestly terrible. read more

I have been a client of this salon for 15 years. The service has always been excellent and the staff is wonderful. It feels like you're spending time with family. Rude. I have regular polish on my nails and she began using drill to remove. They also don't do fill-ins but then after 10 minutes of discussing it they said someone could do it. The service was not okay, they will not listen to you....she used a drill.... To the owners additional rude comments: The owner replied saying I "stormed out" and made the tech feel bad. imagine how I feel as a customer trying to patronize your business and a nail tech begins drilling off your regular polish. to remove acrylic you soak the nails off not drill them off. her response shows you ever thing you need to know about this place. avoid you you want decent customer service. I had an appointment and was called 2 weeks prior to change the time. I was out on a family vacation after those 2 weeks. The nail tech calls me at 9:30 am to SCOLD me that I have missed my 9am appointment. I said I never received a reminder text the day beforeI like I have received for the past year! She then proceeds to tell me how I should have written down my appointments as she does hers. This is the most ungrateful, disrespectful, unprofessional person I have ever met! Made an appointment today for 1pm with Laydis for a full acrylic set. I arrived and was attended right away. Laydis was very nice and professional. I just had yet another (wonder)ful experience at Wonder Nails Salon so I had to review. Dunia has become my one and only, go to nail lady. She and the staff are friendly and always have a smile on. I have recommended my sister-in-law, my best friend and her sister, who are now all regulars. The staff & regulars are like family and can feel comfortable and relaxed while there. With regards to a previous post, these ladies work VERY hard and often times have only a few minutes to scarf down lunch in between appointments. The lunch area is unfortunately very small and visible to the clients. Although the occasion is rare, I personally do not mind waiting a few minutes while one of them grabs a bite to eat. Dunia works by appointment only so usually this does not happen. Dunia also supports small/local businesses so occasionally she allows vendors to come in and sell their goods to both her staff and clients. I'm usually never interested (and always watching Netflix on my phone) so it doesn't bother me, but I can see how others wouldn't be too fond of it. She is extremely professional and takes her time, so be prepared to block out a few hours of your Saturday here. However, my appointment today was during my lunch break so I did not have the time I usually do. Not only did I get my nails done on time, but Dunia even gave me a slice a pizza that they ordered, knowing I was on my break and wouldn't have time to get a bite. It's been years since I had acrylic nails done, and I was hesitant to take the plunge. This place is great. Dunia is the owner and does a great job. It's not a fancy smancy place, but my daughter and I love that. All the girls mostly speak Spanish, and they seem to do just fine communicating with English speaking customers. They like using gel polish, for regular mani/pedi, which is fabulous. Manicure last 2 weeks. I love it here. Switched over from another salon that I was happy with, because I suspected owners started diluting nail polish. Dunia would never. BONUS: There's a hair stylist Jose, that gives a decent blow dry for $30. I like coming with my hair washed already with straightening product. read more

So I call today, I want to make a mani/ pedi appt. I saw dunia's instagram and I loved her work. The lady who answered the phone says there is no appointments for this week, or the next because there was clients who go every 15 days to get re done. ( in other words, I don't want to give you service because you are a new client), we are closed on sunday... as a matter of fact I asked for a month from now and she said that there was a space for 6 but I get out of work until then, I asked for 6:30 she said no because they closed at 7:30 and no one was going to stay after hours. (she's also murmuring in the background that her boyfriend is cute) wow, she is so professional... never giving my money to these people. I am disgusted! read more

I had natural nails for years and decided I wanted to put back acrylics and have the claws done and I have been in love since I started here! The attention and service is out of this world!
