I was desperately looking for a good manicurist since my regular manicurist moved to NY. I was looking in the internet and found Graciela's Salon. I called and made my appointment for Friday, 08/27 @ 2:00 pm. This salón is walking distance from where I work. So that is very convenient. When I got there I was greeted by a very nice lady. I think Ramona is her name. She checked the appointment book and told me to sit and wait a moment for my manicurist. My manicurist Adriana was very nice and professional. First she did my pedicure. Then she did my manicure. I noticed that she used a disposable manicure set. Now days that is very important. I felt at home right away and I love that. Graciela's the owner is very nice and pleasant. I'm glad I found this salon and I will be going back in 2 weeks. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say. The ladies were welcoming when I got there. I got my hair dyed somewhere else on Saturday and I was extremely unhappy with the dark, dull color I had. I was desperate to get rid of it. Romana accepted this challenge of dealing with my complicated hair. I am SO HAPPY with how my hair came out. I did not expect it to come out to perfect!! She did an amazing job and I am so appreciative of her. She stayed way past closing time to make sure I did not leave with any brass colors in my hair. I will continue to be a client of hers. **NIGHTMARE!!! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE EVEN CALLING THIS PLACE FOR AN APPOINTMENT!!!! Ready for this?! Please take a few minutes and read through the entire review. I know it's terribly long. Ok. So, New Year's Eve. I had scheduled my appointment well in advance knowing this is a busy day for nail salons. I had the first appointment of the day, at 9:00am. I come in, and the nail tech (I wish I remembered her name) was really nice. She explained that they use different gel than other salons and I trusted that it would be fine. Well, it wasn't. She used some new off the market material that not only took forever, but left a BLOB on my nails. It was the ugliest, thickest, most unnatural, incorrectly done nail procedure I've ever had. I still can't figure out how they're using something they've never been trained on, but that's not even the worse part. When I walked in at 8:50am, I asked the lady if it was Ok that i parked next door since the salon has all of 2 assigned parking spots behind the salon and both were taken. I drove around twice looking for other spots but no luck. So, I parked right next to the shopping center and the lady told me "yes you're fine there". After my terrible manicure and subpar pedicure (almost 3 full hours later), I paid and walked outside to find a BOOT ON MY TIRE!!!! I walked back into the salon and told the owner that the nail tech said I was fine to park there so they needed to help me. I walked outside to find the guy working for the tow company and tried to speak with him and get the salon owner to assist since it's really a problem between her and the CVS. After all, I am getting services done at HER salon AND THEY ASSURED ME I COULD PARK THERE! An entire HOUR of back and forth with the tow company and the CVS (who called them to boot people's cars), the salon owner still didn't even so much as offer to pay for the boot which would have been the right thing to do considering I just actually paid $75 for the worst manicure of my life. The LEAST she could have done was offer to pay for the $65 boot which was completely their fault or offer me a refund for this incredible inconvenience. Then, the owner tells me they had been putting boots on people's cars for the last week. WHY WOULDN'T THEY DISCLOSE THAT TO THEIR CLIENTS?!! WHY WOULD THEY TELL ME IT WAS OKAY TO LEAVE MY CAR THERE?!!!!! I still get so angry at how this all happened and it's been weeks. I left there at 1:30pm with awful nails that ended up costing over $140, BLOOD BOILING and another missed appointment due to the tire hassle I had to deal with. It was an actual nightmare and I still can't believe it happened. I had to find another salon to fix the mess she left me so $30 later (total of $170+tip at this point) I had decent looking nails. What should have been a pleasant/relaxing experience turned out to be the worst day of 2016 for me BY FAR. Save yourself the money and the disaster and go somewhere else. I beg you! The staff is friendly and bi-lingual, location is well kept and they do a great job on my hands and feet! Join their mailing list and get a discount. I called today and was able to make an appointment for both myself and my 5 year old daughter for only 20 minutes later. Mari washed my hair and cut it. She also cut my daughter's hair and put it back in a cute little style. She was sweet and did exactly whatI asked for. I had passed this place a million times and so glad I finally gave them a try. Every time I come for a mani / pedi I am amazed at how well my nails look but also how long they last. It's been a week since my last appointment and they still look flawless. I've seen various esteticians and the result is always the same. It's nice to go somewhere that has dependably good service. And now you can park in the CVS lot next door. Bonus! read more
