This is only my 2nd time threading my eyebrows. I cried this time too! Well, not really but close. It just feels so different and my eyes watered. Not crying tears just pain tears. Is there a difference? I sort of prefer the quick pain of wax but I really hate what it does to my skin. Especially after this one crazy lady that literally scarred me. But I digress. They're located right next to Nordstroms inside the mall. Service is quick and they do a good job. You can just pop in while you're shopping and it should only take about 5 minutes. $12 plus tip for my eyebrows. They thread other areas as well and also offer waxing & facials. read more

I love coming here. Threading is much less traumatic on the skin than waxing. The results are just as long if not longer than waxing. The pain is temporary, and it does take a little longer than waxing. All the women here do a great job, but my favorite one is Fozia. She only works Mondays, Tuesday's, and Friday afternoons. Her schedule gets very packed quickly so make sure you're not in a hurry when you stop by! I find the wait time on a Friday afternoon (4pm+) is 20-40mins. I came out of there feeling like I had Kim K's eyebrows. I've done my eyebrows with pretty much everyone in there and I have had no complaints. I've been coming here for over a year, and I'm just now reading the reviews of this place. What people don't understand is that when it comes to things like hair, skin, and nails, it's ALL about personal preference. All of the girls do it differently, they're not robots. I think this place is great. There's usually a bit of a wait, but that's because they're so good. They get really busy, and probably don't have a receptionist, so don't be lazy and pay attention! That way, some opportunist won't take your place in line. The girls really do pay attention to what you want and try their best. Was just there (the one by CVS). Went to the reception desk and the lady slammed the pen on the pad and told me to sign in. She was too pissed to even greet me (nice customer service) then she went to the back with a family. I sat and waited for a few minutes and no one (there two other employees there) called me. Two other women come in and they run to them to take care of them. I don't know what's going on with the employees at this location, but behavior like that is what makes you lose customers. read more

Have been to the Eyebrow Designer 21 by the CVS/ZARA at Dadeland and have left unsatisfied both times. There's a young lady there who made one of my eyebrows significantly thinner and shorter than the other. My friend joined me one day and the same girl messed up her eyebrow while trimming them with mini scissors. I recommend the Eyebrow Designer 21 by Nordstrom. read more

Every time I go, I ask them to "clean" because I don't want my eyebrows to be thin and they always manage to take half of my eyebrows off. First time I tried threading was here, so I don't have any other place to compare it to. I was looking for an alternative to waxing, since I have sensitive skin. It does hurt a little, but it's a very fast process. The ladies here do a good job, and I have continued to go back and I'm always in and out in 5-10 minutes. Big thumbs up. read more

At first, I called in to make an appointment with a lady that was recommended to me however the lady I spoke to on the phone was completely rude and hung up on me because she didn't feel like dealing with my questions about the lady i wanted to request. Definitely needs better customer service. Aside from that, my eyebrows came out beautifully. The only downside from the actual work is that it made me break out around my eye area for 2 weeks. I waited three visits before giving a review to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I've been going to the same eyebrow person by my previous employer (now too far) and this place is convenient. They do an okay job with cleaning your eyebrows if you already have the correct shape. I've had 2 ladies while there. When looking in the closest to the window on your left who seems to work WAY TOO FAST. I've had to point out very obvious missing areas both times I've seen her and my hair grows back so quickly because she breaks the hair, does not pull the root. Don't see her. The other person I've seen is close to the Orange couches (back right) She didn't smell so good and messed up my eyebrows (took too much hair off one so to fix it, the other one had to be taken thinner) she did pull from the root so that's good read more

Service was quite poor compared to previous experiences - the threading missed a lot of hairs all over and pulled out hairs near the top of my head as well that should not have been pulled out. When I arrived it was super packed no where to sit. I put my name down on the list had two ppl ahead of me. The lady in the counter was beyond rude. This place is located in dadeland mall right across from the cafe outside of the Nordstrom mall entrance behind the eye optical store. The place is like $12 or something for threading eyebrows. The lady who did my eyebrows did a clean job but painful job! My eyebrows were pretty red afterwards compared to my moms who also got her brows done....but I do have thicker eyebrows than my mother (she has thin eyebrows). But hey, pain is beauty. Be in pain for a few minutes and look good for weeks, and the price? So worth it. If you can't do pain they also have eyebrow waxing which is a lot less painful in my opinion (but I grew up in the age where everything is waxed so I am use to waxing). Basically, great price, if you can take pain do the threading eyebrows because it comes out beautiful, but if you can't do the waxing eyebrows they offer. No need to read any other reviews, this is the worst experience I have ever had!!! Damm I even left crying asking to get out of that place. They did my eyebrows in 3min by the clock, there was nobody waiting to be seen but I guess they just wanted to rush. The young lady left one eyebrow clearly thicker than the other one and she cut too much hair in the front. I wanted to look nice for my little getaway but I ended up regreting every second I spent there. The people are nice don't get me wrong, the girl even offered to fix it but I was dissapointed enough. Why can't we give 0 stars?! I never thought someone could butcher my brows this badly. First of all, I've been to this place twice before and left feeling ok BUT not today. I grew my brows out for 2 months to get them shaped nicely so I went there with very specific instructions on how I wanted them done. She started by thinning my right brow by HALF it's thickness when I specifically said I wanted them thick.... then she thinned it out even more at the top... next, she couldn't even manage to get them both to look the same! I really don't like to give bad reviews, but this was the absolute worst waxing experience I've had. (Worse than the time my cosmetology peers and I first experimented with waxing at age 16.) Not only was I rushed in and out, but the girl completely ignored my straightforward requests and I'm left with unflattering SKINNY eyebrows when all I needed was some cleaning up of stray regrown hairs beneath my arches. My eyebrows are now half the width I went in with!
