Sephora is one of those places that no matter what, I can't just walk by one. Surprised?! You shouldn't be. Terrible service from the cashier; I went on July 1st around 2 PM. I am never setting foot in this store again. Disgusting.

Love this Ulta, it's my favorite store ever. Always has what I'm looking for and the employees are fairly helpful for the most part.

Paulina is the full face makeup guru. Explain what your skin type is and preference in type of makeup you like and then she handles the rest. 20 stars for her and then Yaz at checkout was delightful and helpful in every way too! Paulina you helped me not sold me and I'll always be back to this store so long as you're there. Thanks ladies!!! read more

I came to the Ulta beauty salon for a hair appointment with Ramon Barceló. Ramon is a very good stylist and talks to you in detail about your hair needs. He seems very knowledgeable. In addition, my appointment was for 12:00 pm and I got seen right away. The place looks clean and orderly. The bathroom was also clean. The price was not over the top. In addition, you get points for your ULTA rewards Overall, a great place to get your hair done read more

Been coming to this Ulta for years now. I've definitely seen it transform through out the years. Service wasn't the best a few years back but the most recent times I've come, the staff is super friendly!! Their 21 days of beauty (which just started this week) is an absolute steal! I do think they should organize the flow of the line as there always seems to be confusion and causes traffic. read more

Yas was my hero today and the Ulta team in Kendall was amazing!!!! I'm leaving on a trip and went to Ulta to purchase my go-to hair care product. I was happy to find a full-sized option--given that I am all out--but wanted a travel-sized alternative given TSA's requirements. Enter Yas to save the day! She went the extra mile, helped me find a travel-sized version (purchased the full-sized bottle as well), directed me to my loyalty coupons, and rung me up! Great customer service is increasingly rare these days. Care at the level that Yas provided is 1 in a million. She is why I'll be back to this location. She genuinely cares! Thank you, Yas and Ulta!!!! read more

Halloween was right around the corner, and I had no idea what I wanted to do. I haven't purchased a costume in the longest, so I decided to put the focus on my face makeup instead. I saw some really cool ideas online, and figured I would make an appointment at Ulta to have it professionally done, especially since my makeup skills are basically non-existent. My appointment was with Paola, and she was awesome! Lucky me, she had literally just done something very similar to what I wanted, and we decided to replicate that. She did a smoky eye shadow look, and blended the colors very well. I loved the foundation she used, as well as the concealer. The whole process took about an hour and a half. The makeup looked amazing, and didn't even feel like it was "too much", as in, not cakey or heavy at all. I was beyond pleased with the final outcome, and will definitely use her again in the future! read more

This location by far has the rudest manager I have ever encounterEd. lots of employees there doing a lot of nothing as well.

This location has pretty much everything Ulta has to offer. The shelves are stocked and the items are in good salable condition. The perfume area has testers- shocking I know, because most locations have unfortunately have given up on testers due to the high amount of theft. The staff are friendly and helpful. read more

If I could give 0 starts I would. This review is specifically for the esthetician Ramia E. I booked an online appointment for a facial. I was really excited and looking forward to my appointment because I wanted to treat myself. I am 31 weeks pregnant and my baby shower is quickly approaching so I thought heck why not. I pictured myself after a long and tedious ten hour shift I would be able to relax and unwind for the afternoon. My appointment was for 4:45 pm I arrived at 4:20 pm. I checked in and the employee asked me what I wanted from the service I asked if I could have the steam and extractions for my facial. She asked me what I wanted to clean my face with which I was confused because I didn't know what the options were. I said I don't know what do you use witch hazel? She's stated "no I use a cleanser" I replied okay that's fine. Then I asked if vegan products were going to be used during my service because I prefer those products. Employee responded with "no". Which I was okay with as this was just a simple question and preference not a requirement in the service that I specifically needed. She stated she was waiting for her appointment that was running a little late and that she would attend me at my scheduled appointment time of 4:45. This was no problem to me considering it gave me time to go to micheals and look at some fun crafts! I returned promptly to the salon by 4:42 pm to ensure I didn't take up any of her time or keep her waiting. As I was sitting patiently waiting, anticipating my facial and really just the opportunity to do something to make me feel good something that would raise my self esteem it was quickly and abruptly shattered. She approached me with her manager and stated she was unable to do my facial without a doctors note. I was completely and utterly caught off guard. I asked why do I need a doctors note? The employee stated she wasn't going to do my facial unless I had one. I still did not understand and the manager said it in case of an allergy. This left me flabbergasted I don't have allergies what do you mean. This continued in an unnecessary conversation back and forth stating that the esthetician did not feel comfortable providing a service because of the possibility of an allergy. I replied repeatedly that I don't have allergies to anything why is this being used as a concern all of a sudden. The manager replied it was because I stated I wanted vegan products. In which I replied I asked if vegan products are used it's my preference however, it's not because due to allergies. The esthetician walked away from the conversation and actually left for the day. The manager and I continued talking about why my service was being denied. She stated that employees have the right to decline a client. However, it didn't sit well with me I didn't understand what reason that would be considering the employee said it was because I needed a doctors note. At this point I was very unhappy my appointment was cancelled for a reason I did not understand. I continued speaking to the manager trying to understand the reasoning of this cancellation. I felt like I was being discriminated. Now my question was what am I being turned down for is it because I'm pregnant? Or is it because I requested vegan products? I simply didn't understand. During my consultation with the esthetician everything was fine. So why this sudden turn to cancelling my appointment and why make me come back thinking I was Ganna be attended to then not be. The manager came back with a 20 percent off my next service. I asked is this a one time thing that the employee is unwilling to attended me or is this going to be permanent? Because I understand we are human sometimes we have bad days and maybe this was the case but if I make another appointment will I also be denied? The manager was unable to answer the question. Then she called another manager and we basically had the same conversation all over again. She ended with saying maybe it was a misunderstanding and she would speak with the employee. read more

Easily the largest ULTA Beauty I've been in, and if for only that, I expect a lot of variety. However, the truth stands that when it comes to drugstore brands, this particular store isn't cutting it for me. I'm a Cover Girl lover and they hardly had anything around. What gives? If you're looking for good deals, a salon, or in general more expensive-looking make-up, though, you're in luck. There's that tenfold. Please be aware, though, that it's survival of the fittest. There are so many ladies inside that it feels like you're either at a flea market or suffering through Black Friday getting that last plasma TV. Eh, I may be projecting. I feel there are better stores out here. Have to say it's convenient in terms of parking and in terms of its proximity to DSW at least. read more

Review for hairstylist Ramon by client Karina He did a beautiful blond balayage and haircut on my waist length hair. I have received many compliments on the natural look for my graduate year. Better Than Sex mascara ... Laura Geller blush ... Origins hydrating mist ... this is what I am wearing on my face as I am sitting here writing this review. AND ... (if I must say so myself) ... I am smelling mighty pretty, like an explosion of flowers, with my Flower Bomb perfume by Viktor & Rolf. All of the above purchased at ULTA. WARNING: Shopping at ULTA can become somewhat addictive. Consider yourself warned. Whether you are looking for skincare (cleansers, masks, moisturizers), makeup, hair products, nail care, or fragrance, ULTA is your one stop beauty shop. They even have a full-service hair salon and brow services on premises. "All Things Beauty, All in One Place" is ULTA's aptly named trademarked slogan. I strive to make my yelp reviews educational, so here is some ULTA trivia for you: * Ulta opened its first store 25 years ago. * There are over 800 locations across 48 states. They feature over 500 well-established and emerging beauty brands across all categories and price points. They carry more than 20,000 products. ULTA has grown to become the largest beauty retailer in the United States. Half of the store is stocked with drugstore brands, including ULTA Beauty's own private label; the other half features "premium" brands such as Becca, Benefit, bareMinerals, Clarins, Clinique, DermaDoctor, MAC, Origins, Stila, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Smashbox, Tarte, and MANY more. Although ULTA is predominantly for women, they also carry men's products, such as shaving tools and skincare, as well as men's haircare, and a pretty extensive selection of men's colognes, too. ULTA's customers (like me) are passionate beauty junkies (like me) who love snapping up their everyday favorites (like I do) and are excited to try new things (like I am.) Ulta's mission is to create a fun & inviting environment ... They allow you to "play" with their testers. "Playing" is fun. I love to TRY before I BUY. I also prefer to read online reviews first. Service, in general, is very good; the cashiers are very friendly and the sales associates tend to have a lot of knowledge about the products. Ironically, when I am genuinely in need of help, I typically cannot find anyone to assist me. When I am just browsing or "playing," then I am bombarded with offers for assistance from an extra attentive staff. I suspect that sales associates have an incentive to push a particular brand. Keep this in mind when they lead you to a specific brand. During my most recent visit, I experienced superior service and a particularly good rapport with CARRIE. She was down-to-earth, honest, and a real sweetheart. ULTA regularly sends coupons via mail and/or email for $3.50 off a $15 purchase. Twice a year - Spring & Fall - you will find ULTA's very best sale, referred to as "21 Days of Beauty," when every single day, for 21 days, a couple of their "premium" products are featured for 50% off! The specific items are reduced for one day, and one day only. Different products for each of the 21 days. If you open an ULTA credit card, you get 20% off your first purchase, including premium brands AND items on sale. (Yes, I took advantage of that!) Be sure to sign up for their "Ultamate Rewards" loyalty program where you'll earn one point for every dollar spent. Earn double points when you pay for your purchase with your ULTA credit card. Sometimes they have limited offers where you can earn up to five times the points on specific brands during a limited time period. Here's what you get when you redeem your points: 100 points = $3.00 off 250 points = $8.00 off 500 points = $17.50 off 750 points = $30.00 off 1000 points = $50.00 off 2000 points = $125.00 off Enjoy being beautiful. read more

If you're an aspiring MUA, beautician, or the like, this is the place for you. The only reason that I shop at this store is pure laziness. Er, I mean, convenience. It's the closest one to me. Plus I really don't care to drive to Cutler Ridge for a lipstick. However, this store is not on par with the store in CR. At all. The staff here is not as friendly or welcoming. I have stood in a line with about 5 other customers and one cashier. Employees walk into the cash wrap area, look at the line then turn around and leave. "Can I help you?" Is not in their vocabulary. I may be able to overlook the lack of service if the store was well stocked Come on, their own Ulta brand cosmetic display is ALWAYS EMPTY. Really? Honestly, if it wasn't the fact that I receive multiple coupons a month and live somewhat near this Ulta, I'd never come. The customer service at this particular Ulta is absolutely horrible! I came in with my rewards certifcate to claim my gift, and I went to ask the older lady there where they stocked it. Since I do not speak of word of Spanish, of course I get an eye roll. Anyway, she lead me to the hair brush section with attitude, and on top of that, when my item was not there, she goes "Well, I can't do anything about that!" Excuse me? I asked her if she could check to see if the item was carried in a box in the back, and she refused and told me to come back next week. Long story short, come here to use your coupons & expect the horrible costumer service. Not to mention, they're always out of everything that's in the catalog! Up to you. read more

Great for everyday beauty products. They have a gazillion different types but I find that the customer service was lacking on my last visit. Not only was the girl clueless as to what to recommend me for my hair but she didn't even attempt to get me another better informed person. They also, strangely enough, ran out of bags!!! So my small items (lip gloss, eyeliner and foundation) were placed in a sandwich Ziploc bag!!!!! The big bottles of hair detanglers I desperately needed and couldn't leave behind I had to carry loosely in my hands!! Three bottles?!?! I mean, she offered for me to purchase the Ulta reusable bag at like $3, instead of offering it to me as courteously!! Horrible customer service. No good products. I went in to buy some basic makeup supplies. They didn't carry my usual products.
