Sally hair and skin supplies is a decent place to find good products at a fair (or their regular retail price) Everything you need for your hair. From the professional and most popular hair car products to those products why wonder where the heck did they come from and who would design their labels in such a scary, but creative way. Lol Best of all is their return policy... Don't like it? Return it! Preferably bring your receipt though. However, if you don't have their receipt (let's be honest, some people just don't like and/or agree with my OCD tendencies, pray that you have their discount and/or rewards card. Don't have it? Well, that's on you and you're asking for too much, BUT, make sure you get one next time. Believe me you won't regret it. Those cards will get you rocking discounts only card holders get! ALWAYS. Last, bit not least... have any doubts about how to use a product, how it works? Just ask the staff. I have never been to a Sally store where the staff was not eager and ready to answer any questions. This one was not the exception.

She's a huge fan of Korean culture in general and was eager to explore a place that was literal steps away from her daily life. I came in excited to spend some money and get educated on Korean Skin care based on the welcoming signs out front. Sadly, no one greeted us--not a "hey", "how are you?"--nada--they only followed us around the store. I didn't want to be a jerk and leave one star because it very well may be a one off occurrence--plus the prices and aesthetics of this place are amazing! However you can't expect us to spend money in a store that won't even acknowledge our existence. It's a valuable lesson I won't my daughter to learn sooner rather than later. I've been here twice and both times I have arrived on time for my appointment, only to have to wait…read moreoutside and call them to let me in. Both times they said they were at lunch and would be there soon. Both times I waited 15+ minutes past my appointment time, outside in the heat. The first time I went, it took them 45 minutes to take off my previous manicure and they ended up charging me for that time. I got a very simple manicure to replace the previous one and they charged me $159 (before tip). The lady also made a comment about the ring I was wearing, something along the lines of "omg that ring looks so small for your finger!" I have always been self conscious about my finger size, so thank you for that. The second time I went was to take off the acrylics that they put on the first visit. All I wanted was to take the acrylics off and get a clear nail-strengthening coat on my natural nails. The lady encouraged me to keep a few of the acrylic tips on certain nails which were too weak. She said this would help strengthen them. I agreed to do this for the few nails that needed some strength, because she was the one with the expertise and must have known best. I'm new to getting my nails done, so it wasn't until I got home that I noticed she had left on all but one acrylic and it wasn't just the tips like she told me. She had left on nine full acrylics? So now I'm stuck almost exactly where I started before the second visit and I'm going to have to go elsewhere and pay AGAIN to have them removed "AGAIN". In general I think they do a good job but I'd recommend sticking to what you want and not following their advice if they try to encourage you to do something else. If price isn't an issue for you, go for it. But for someone on a budget like me, I won't be going back due to the price, and other reasons mentioned above.

I looked up a bunch of places and decided to trust Jane here because I felt like she would understand my Asian eyes the best. She did. I did a trial run a couple months before the wedding to see if I would like them and i did! Jane listened to my request for natural looking lashes and followed the inspiration pics I showed her too. I took my mom here too (who's in her 60s) and Jane did a great job with her also. I live an hour away but I'm willing to drive all this way. Studio is super clean and cozy, and Jane is really sweet. Not sure if I can trust another place to do as good of a job. Definitely would like to try getting my nails done by Jane too. All of the photos on her Instagram look amazing!
