Horrible customer service. On hold 30 minutes. Answering machine is a joke. Never ever use pharmacy again

Went thru the drive thru...associate was rude said they didnt have perscription ready when their app said it was. My perscriptions should all be on auto refill but are never ready. Time to switch pharmacies. read more

I am from Texas and am used to excellent service at my Walgreens store AND pharmacy at home so I was very hesitant to have my prescription filled at this Walgreens when I saw the ratings. Being in Fillmore for business, it was the closest Walgreens and I happened to be going "into town" so I decided to give it a shot. Well, I was pleasantly surprised!! I received quick service from friendly staff! My medication was filled correctly and was ready and waiting for me as promised when I arrived to pick it up. And... they even found me a BETTER deal than my expected insurance price!! Thank you for giving me the kind of service I'm used to from back home. a lot of items are never in stock, and you have to make sure you mention that items were marked down. half the time if it's on clearance, they'll still charge full price for it. read more

Called in for heart medication refill on Saturday. Was told it would be done Monday morning. Came in Tuesday to pick up prescription, was told it hadn't been filled and told to come back in 30 minutes. Came back and was told they are out of medication. They told me they would send it to springville. Called back an hour and a half later because I hadn't heard back. They didn't send anything to springville. Dropped the ball hard on this one. Critical heart medication. Terrible. read more

This review is specifically for the PHARMACY department within the Payson, UT Walgreens. After years of slow AND terrible customer service, inadequate training of new employees, poor administrative accountability, high turnover due to the good employees leaving, and having to deal with some kind of issue with nearly every prescription we've sent to the Payson Walgreens over the past several years, our most recent experience was the last straw. This pharmacy is, hands down, the WORST in Utah County. Even before claims of COVID-19 "staffing issues" this pharmacy appeared to be poorly managed and continues to function as smoothly as a broken razor blade across burlap. They either do not pick up their phones at all or leave you on hold for 20-plus minutes prompting you to drive many miles to walk in only to be greeted with their ineptitude in person. There is no accountability for mistakes they repeatedly make and zero interest on their part for taking any kind of pride in their jobs. Both of the Pharmacists and at least one of the Pharm Techs clearly display their dislike of their jobs and do not have any interest in excelling in anything work-related. I think they prefer dead-eye staring into chasms of nothingness than actually doing their jobs. And that would be fine! But if that's what they want, then they should get a job folding T-shirts instead of filling life-saving medications. Why did we continue to use their services 1) We're overly-patient IDIOTS who thought it would get better and 2) We've always let the poor performance and errors roll off our backs because it was close to our home and we eventually got our corrected prescriptions. No more; the Payson, UT Walgreens Pharmacy has reached unprofessional and unacceptable limits. We have, within the past hour, transferred ALL of our numerous and very expensive prescriptions to another pharmacy who, upon first call, has already outperformed Payson, UT Walgreens Pharmacy in customer service, knowledge, and respect for the patients they serve. read more

The pharmacy is the worst service i have ever had from a business. They make up stories about why they can't fill a prescription, which I then talk to my insurance and doctor and everything is fine. They verbally abuse you and tell you that you can't come there anymore! I am so glad i moved all my prescriptions from them. Even the doctors offices hate calling the payson pharmacy Walgreens as they are on hold for so long and then you get hung up on. I have been told this by plenty of my doctors. So sad that that they want to make people with health issues, work harder then we already have to, to get out of the house and then we get to the pharmacy and they are just so rude or they say they couldn't fill it. The main pharmacist is so arrogant and there are a couple of women that, treat you like you are a worthless piece of crap. Just trying to say, NOOOOOO i would never recommend them and I would say rather walk into the place i do and they are so nice!! read more

I don't usually rip on businesses, but this was probably the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. Pulled up to the drive-through to pick up a prescription and everything went fine enough. However, when I grabbed my prescription from the drawer, the drawer immediately closed thereafter--leaving my card inside. The lady at the counter immediately walked away as well, not bothering to check whether all the items had been taken before closing the drawer. I sat there for about ten minutes trying to get somebody's attention. Either the call button doesn't work or the people inside just ignore it; I must have pressed that thing about fifteen times. I finally knocked on the window and luckily somebody noticed and opened the drawer for me. There were a couple of vehicles behind me that were getting annoyed as well and ended up leaving. I'm generally a pretty patient guy, but this was just unacceptable. I've also had problems in the store as well. A couple of times, their POS systems would freeze and wouldn't complete a sale whenever I tried to pay with Apple Pay or a Balance Rewards balance. Pretty annoying. I would never shop here if I didn't get free credit; everything is pretty pricy. I don't know, maybe they're just short staffed at the pharmacy. Regardless, I've never had such a bad experience in the past with Rite Aid. Unfortunately, the location down the road closed down, so Walgreens is what we were stuck with. I think we will be looking at other options in the future. read more

We get all our prescriptions here and everyone behind the pharmacy counter is super nice and the Pharmacist is extrememly helpful with answering questions. I only wish they had enough business to be open 24/7 like Provo. read more

I have to admit that I did not want to like Walgreens. I don't know for sure why. I just didn't like the idea. However I can't deny I am a fan. The store is a bit of a weird assortment of products a bit like a super mini Walmart. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly enough with out being cheesy. The "Nice" brand is better than a lot of store brands and they have the main big brands as well. Walgreens is as close to a Tesco as Payson is going to get for quite some time. Till that time I will frequent Walgreens. read more

I got a prescription back in June for 90 day supply of medication. I went there again last week to get my 90 day supply refilled and they only gave me 30 because that's all I had left on my prescription. Instead of telling me there was only 30 left, they charged me the full 90 day supply. They would not refund me the difference, They said that they didn't have Good RX in my file, which I gave to her that day. Make sure you check how much medication they give you before you leave. read more

I have had good experiences almost all the time at Walgreens. This Walgreens is just fine except when it comes to the pharmacy. Every experience I have had at this Walgreens, except for one, has been nothing short of horrible. The service at the pharmacy here is what you would expect from the county DMV. Tonight was no exception. I was picking up medicine for my little girl who had pinkeye. The pharmacist told us he had nothing in stock and said that we would have to call around to find another pharmacy. He didn't check with other Walgreens, he didn't ask us our situation or anything. He simply told us that we would have to make other arrangements. What should have taken 15 minutes for him to take care of or help us take care of ended up being a 2 hour ordeal. The Pharmacist at this walgreens is the same one who has been there for 2 or more years and has been horrible the whole time. If you are smart, you will stay clear of this pharmacy and avoid the headache. read more
